Wow, what happened to this place? I've been coming here for tacos for years and it was always decent. Just got home with take out and it was literally inedible. Ordered my old standby...carnitas tacos and was taken aback when I saw them. They looked very different. Instead if the juicy and flavorful tacos of the past, the meat looked like it had been boiled! Took my first bite and immediately regretted it. Yep, boiled, unseasoned, cheap nasty meat that tasted like an old shoe. Grosser than gross. My entire order, 8 tacos and two burritos went straight into compost. Yuck! On my way to TacoBook on Broadway in North Everett for some good tacos. This place took a serious nose dive and I will never go back. What a shame. Don't waste your money. read more

First cashiers have their uniform incomplete, cashiers are not wearing name tags, I don't know their names. Saturday 5/18/19 at 8:01. pm. I was standing in front of the line to order kids taco. Currently one cashier was attending a costumer the other person wearing a White striped Long Sleeve shirt was cooking tortillas. while I was waiting in front line the lady wearing White striped Long Sleeve shirt approaches to the register and informs a white guy in line behind me and takes his order. Am I painted, why I wasn't serve first? am I not in front line,? (obviously I am in front of the line). what is wrong with the casher/lady wearing White striped Long Sleeve shirt? Very disappointed the way costumer service takes orders. The other thing; I told the cashier(not the lady wearing White striped Long Sleeve shirt ) if she could fill in the Agua de Horchata Dispenser because it was almost empty. After a few minutes, to my surprise the lady wearing White striped Long Sleeve shirt was dragging/pushing with his foot the new Agua de Horchata bucket for about 8 feet in the preparing area until she got to the counter top. From there she pick up the bucket, place it on the counter top and move it to the Agua de Horchata Dispenser.( I hope this practices/pushing the Agua de horchata on the floor with human foots is approved by HEALTH DEPARTMENT.!!!!!!!! read more

I wanted to give this place a 3.5 really because it borderlines on being one of the more affordable/authentic places I've been in this neighborhood. I bring my family here because the food is decent, even though the atmosphere is cafeteria-ish. The chicken asada is my favorite, but sometimes they overdo it and it gets a little dry, but luckily their salsa bar is you can take and I take alot! Most places around the Everett Mall area are simply too gringo-ized for me to take seriously. Plus their (soft) tacos are pretty decent. read more

Taste was actually really good and the service was friendly. I ordered a carnitas burrito and asked for no onions other than what is in the salsa. My burrito had at least a whole medium sized onion in it. At 9 $ for a burrito and coke I expect better attention to detail and more food. I came here to eat with my wife and her mother and the place was clean, prompt service and the cashier w as very helpful on items we didn't understand. I ordered the 11. Beef Burrito w/out salsa add sour cream. It was fully cooked and full of flavor for a carnivore like me. The cashier checked on everyone like a waitress at least twice on our visit which is nice. If you haven't had this type of Mexican food, man are you missing out. There are more locations, and there all good. once you have the real stuff, tex-Mex places like azteca just are not appealing. Started going here due to being gluten free. food and service have been good. They do a good job keeping the place clean. You should make sure they don't charge you too much as I have had this happen, probably just the young girls working, don't know. Most the people that eat there are Mexican, so you know its good. My favorite is the salsa bar, defiantly not stuff from Safeway, I Also enjoy the grilled onion and jalapeño with plates. read more

I've come here on a number of occasions, and the food along with the service has been consistently excellent. I've tried a number of items on the menu and haven't had a complaint to make yet. Don't expect to find Americanized tacos here, go to Taco bell for that. This is as authentic as you can get. read more

I'm from California and so far since I've been here in Washington this place has the best Mexican food! My husband and I don't even question where to go when we want Mexican food. We've almost tried everything on the menu and we've always been more than satisfied. The food is great but every now and then one of the ladies would give us attitude. I ordered the enchilada chipotle with steak, and it was pretty good. The steak was a little over cooked, cut everything else on the plate was good. The wife orders the pozole and it looked and tasted great. We ordered the kids quesadia with chicken for our 2 monsters and were pleasantly surprised. I've been to several of the Rinconsito restaurants in the are, Seattle, Tacoma, desmoines, but for some reason this is my least favorite. They just seem to do things a little differently, and just not as well as the others. Here the carne asada is chewy, the juice drinks seem watered down, the salsa bar is lacking. Great Food! Yummy burritos, big greasy Tortas....the best way, and fair priced tacos too. I love the selection of meats and Agua Frecas. My favorite is the Pollo con Arroz, just as good, if not better than a big mexican restaurant, but a way better price. Surprizingly, the caesar salad was pretty good too. They put snow peas and almonds on it. My husband always orders the fried fish. It's actually a whole fish that they deep fry. It's served with fries, but they will substitute rice and beans. Always get great service...I'm sure the fact that I'm a pretty good tipper has nothing to do with it. Love that they're open late. My only complaint is that they always give me flour tortillas even though that's not what I ask for..but I'm used to that at a lot of places. First time in Washington EVER and I wasn't quite satisfied with my culinary endeavors. That was until i encountered this place! My boyfriend always talked about how great this place was even before my trip out there. also the day before we went his friends couldn't stop talking about the posole on Sundays. So we went on Sunday, but because it was a warm day out (I know surprising right? It's Washington) I decided not to get the Posole. Instead I has a carne asada gordita and 2 carnitas tacos. the gordita was AMAZING. and the tacos... perfect. the carnitas were perfectly tender and not dry what so ever. My VERY hungry boyfriend had 2 tacos of adobada. 3 milpitas (which are like mini quesadillas stuffed with meaty goodness) and an asada burrito. we had all of this to go and we got so much salsa!!! everything was soo good. It's called Taqueria on the corner, that should be a hint to you people their speciality are tacos. Altough they will never be like the real deal from home, its better than tacos guemos and taco bell. They have a salsa bar so you choose how spicy u want your taco. The servers are always friendly and we get our food fast. I always get the tacos de lengua, and the spicy pork is very popular with my co workers. Also ditch the soda and try one of their aguas frescas, like the orchata its delicious! read more

This is a great restaurant, especially if you want to try some Mexican food that is a little different than all of the big chains (Azteca, La Hacienda, Ixtapa, etc.). Service is quick, and there is a great selection of items to choose from. I especially like the taco plates, which come with an assortment of side dishes. ZAIDA IS RUDE!!! I was just in tonight with my husband and there was a deal, 3 tacos and a drink for 4$ and in FINE PRINT under it, it had 4 different meats that the deal came with, but it was in fine print so it was hard to read it, so when my husband asked what meats it came with, ZAIDA replied with a rude attitude, saying "it says right there" then I asked if they have chicken tortilla soup and she looked at me like I was stupid and said "what???" as if chicken tortilla soup isn't a Mexican soup lol. She was beyond rude and she looked like the manager because she was wearing a wanna be dressy shirt but that's besides the point, her attitude was the worst I've ever seen coming from a manager. Then she calls out our order super fast saying 9 tacos and walks away, we only had 6, so we sat there waiting for ours, she walks over and again with an attitude says our tacos are ready and we said we only got 6 and she called out 9, she said "oh well, 6! They're ready" I'm in complete shock that whoever owns this place has a POS worker working the front and treating people like that!!!! If ZAIDA is in the front, be prepared to be treated like crap! Popped because the Hawaiian and Vietnamese joints in the same strip mall had just closed. Had a tacos combo dinner and mulito. Food seemed pretty authentic and served fast. I've been going here since they opened years ago.  The selection is great. The friendly customer service is hit or miss.   The beef has always been oily/greasy and of questionable quality in my opinion.  Over the years I have gone here less and less and yesterday was last straw for me; I will not be back  The only thing I really have purchased here are the Asada tacos and the price for their items has reached ridiculousness.   I ordered 4 asada tacos and a fountain drink yesterday; it was over 11 dollars for Christ sake.   I thought the cashier said the total was 7 something until I got the change and receipt and realized it was 11 something.  I almost asked for my money back right away.   The medium fountain drink is $2.93.   That has got to be the highest priced medium pop anywhere in the area for crying out loud. And I think $2 for a street taco, that are probably the smallest tacos I have ever eaten, is overpriced as well.  I am very happy eating off taco trucks for half the price or even very reasonably priced delicious food at other places I have patronized.  To sum it up, food is overpriced, undersized and isn't the best in the area for sure. read more
