The ambiance (and the service) is the star of the show at Los Andes. The relaxing South American music, the koi pond, the hum of happy diners all contributed to a lovely atmosphere. We did not order desert but one of our party had a birthday and when we informed him we had no room for desert he brought out a plate with happy birthday drizzled in chocolate with a small mound of whipped cream and a strawberry. A very nice touch. I ordered a steak dish with the goal of getting as many South American flavors in my dish as possible- it came with a delightful cold salad, very good chimichurri, fried yuca, and a side of cheesy rice.
