fried chicken, rice and peas and plantains.

this is the "rice and peas" it's literally minute microwaved rice and those are the handful of beans I got .. the plantains taste like oil and the fried chicken has absolutely NO FLAVOR ... these raving reviews must be a joke or something. if I can give zero stars I would, this food is literally inedible.

The food here is super yummy and delicious. The patties are good. Everything we ordered was wand the prices are great! We ordered one plate and a patty to share with 2 people. I wish the curry chicken didn't have as many bones but it was still very good! This place doesn't have a huge sitting area but most people take their food to go. I'd definitely come back here!

I had a major craving on a Saturday afternoon for some oxtails. I was originally supposed to head over the Jerkfest in Boston, but plans changed and I ended up here. I think the first thing to expect from a Caribbean spot, is the almost always run out of food early lol, this is nothing new. I really wanted oxtails, but the only had smaller pieces left at the time. I opted for the next best thing: curry goat. They didn't have any more stewed cabbage, and she did offer me to wait for 10-15 minutes if I wanted it. I ended up with the macaroni pie and rice and peas instead. For a medium plate, that bad boy was pretty hefty in my opinion. I devoured that meal so fast. Glad to see a good spot in Brockton. I used to go to one spot for rice and peas and another for everything else. Glad to have one central location now where everything is good all together.

this is a great fast food type Jamaican restaurants. Great patties with different flavors like jerk, veggie, beef and the chicken. The menu is wide ranging from oxtail, curry goat, BBQ ribs and jerk chicken. there is also soups. it's a great spot if your use to the city. if you live near brockton and are use to food in Dorchester and around Boston this place is great. The lunch specials are great as well, all chicken items for 5 bucks with rice and veggie, great value. this place is definitely better than most Jamaican spots in the south shore.

Curry Chicken, Rice Beans, Cabbage and Plantains. Very good.

The food was pretty good but lacked pepper. I like Jamaican food spicier.

I enjoyed my experience at this flames location. I have frequented the one in Dorchester, but the…read moreBrockton location is closer to me now and has parking. I actually went on a venture for some Haitian food, but there was an hour wait so I opted to try another local Caribbean location. I was apprehensive at first because I like to stick to what I know and I can imagine all locations are not created equally. Anyway, I sat in my car contemplating until I saw four people walk in, with no assimilation, and thought, "this place must be good!" I hopped out and stood in a now growing line. While waiting they played some mix of music, which I currently don't listen to but it was on the screen and I couldn't help but enjoy it! It took me back to my college years when I listened to secular music. Thanks for that Flames! While in line I watched to see what others ordered and what I mostly saw were the chicken wings, stewed chicken, and oxtails. None of which I wanted since I'm trying to go pescatarian again. I decided to try the curry shrimp with yellow rice, vegetables, and plantains. Of course I asked for gravy. The ladies were very pleasant and served with a smile. When I got home....it was over! The rice was the right texture, look, and flavor. The curry shrimp was flavorful and it came with onions, peppers, and gravy. The vegetables were steamed and the plantains were perfectly cooked. The food was delicious!!!!!!!!!!! I will certainly go back to try the fish.

The service here is always great, fast and friendly. The food is even better. My go-to is a plate…read moreof rice but I got some patties today, chicken and beef. It was delicious and savory, especially the chicken. If you add cheese and coco bread, you are sure to fall in love.
