    Cheese sauce and chips
    Jana M.

We stopped here in our way to Branson and had lunch. What a nice surprise! The chips and cheese sauce are marvelous. We found it very addicting. The chips were nice and light and the sauce had a tiny kick. I had the poblano relleno, which was very good. My husband had a Pollo Loco platter. The chicken was delicious and the serving size was abundant. We wish we lived closer!

Chicken Fajhitas! Awesome. Paleo Friendly extra Guacamole and Pico! Salsa has a nice kick to it.

The family-owned restaurant is a favorite of ours, with some of our favorite dishes like arroz con camarones, tacos de tilapia, mar y tierra, and tres amigos.

My wife and I decided to try this new restaurant today and I am so glad we did. I've lived in…read moreTexas, Arizona, and California so I am highly opinionated when it comes to Mexican food. Most of the Mexican restaurants outside the southwest are disappointing and I came here expecting more of the same. When trying a new Mexican restaurant for the first time I pretty much always order cheese enchiladas. I know that if I don't like them then I probably won't care for much else there. I noticed on the menu that it said their chiles rellenos were made with American cheese and wondered why they'd put that in the description. After all, nearly every Mexican restaurant in this part of the country uses American cheese in/on everything--and I hate it. Cheese dip should be runny, but the rest of the cheese on the plate shouldn't, yet virtually every Mexican restaurant in the area has runny cheese oozing out of their enchiladas. I can't stand it. I already knew that I'd found something special before putting the first bite of food into my mouth. As soon as I cut through the first enchilada with my fork I could tell that they'd used real cheese for them. It was firm and chewy and didn't run out like white slime. I'll be back.

I enjoyed the Enchiladas Supremas, a dish of four different enchiladas ( ground beef, shredded chicken, bean, and cheese). Give this new restaurant in a quaint town a try!
