I'm so happy I stopped here for lunch! The tacos were fabulous and the margarita was sooo good! The service was personable and I felt like I had been there forever on my first visit. If you are out in Chanute Ks, this is a great place to stop and fill up!

Wow. We were passing through on a road trip and had to try this spot. Maria opened the restaurant seven years ago and has not looked back! A true gem in a small SEK town We walked in at lunchtime on a Monday and the place was packed to the gills. The quesadilla suprema is probably one the best veggie quesadilla I've ever had, stuffed with sautéed onions, peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms and lightly topped with a creamy cheese sauce. Salsas we're also delicious. You get to try three and have your own pitchers for refills. Don't hesitate to try if you're in the area! read more

Hands down the best Mexican restaurant in Chanute... and maybe even in the SE Kansas area. Been here numerous times over the course of my two years in Chanute. Service has always been awesome and the staff are super friendly. The place is a bit divey, and could probably use a major upgrade on the inside. Food is consistently amazing. Good flavors and spice. Even give you bags of chips - with tons of the amazing salsa - for the carry out. :) read more

Stopped here on our way to KC and we were not disappointed. Salsa was tasty. I ordered pollo con queso, a chicken dish smothered in cheese, and it was large and delicious. The husband ordered chili rellenos and they were pretty good as well. Service was fine. Prices were typical. Good food for a small town. read more

First time here and was duly impressed. Service is very friendly and very efficient. 3 or 4 different people checked on us so I'm unsure who our actual waiter was. They were slammed with a birthday party but we were still well cared for. The beef fajitas are excellent, more than plenty for the money, and came out steaming. We will be back. read more

Cheese dip should be runny, but the rest of the cheese on the plate shouldn't, yet virtually every Mexican restaurant in the area has runny cheese oozing out of their enchiladas. I can't stand it. I already knew that I'd found something special before putting the first bite of food into my mouth. As soon as I cut through the first enchilada with my fork I could tell that they'd used real cheese for them. It was firm and chewy and didn't run out like white slime. I'll be back.
