You can add sides to it, like rice, beans, plantains, etc. I love soup and they always have at least 2-3 varieties of soup to choose from. The sancocho is delicious....a bit salty for my taste, but I always add a bit of hot water to thin it down. The portions are huge and sometimes I have enough leftovers for the next day.
