Park Avenue Styles in Marina had received many positive Yelp reviews, so I thought I'd drop by to see what this store was about and, boy, did I strike gold. I walked in and was immediately greeted by the proprietor, "Fred", who began with some friendly banter before asking what he could help me with. As I described my mission, I could see that Fred was literally sizing me up. His store, though not as "warehousey" large as Men's Wearhouse, was deceptively large and had an impressive collection of suits, Tuxes, shoes and accessories for both sale and rental (as well as casual attire). After understanding my preferences, Fred picked out a couple of very nice vested suits and bow ties for me to consider for purchase. They were spot on in terms of quality, color, price, and size. Fred's eye was uncanny, and my conversation with him while trying on the goodies was both comfortable and entertaining. I also noticed that other customers who wandered into his shop greeted Fred by name and quite obviously were repeat customers. This was a very good sign. Fred presented me with an attractive package I could not resist and even steered me to a tailor in the same vicinity who would perform the alterations. I realized that Fred took tremendous pride in his business and actually enjoyed his job. He was an easy person to like and trust, and I thoroughly enjoyed my shopping experience with him. So, if you are in the market to buy or rent a tux or suit, or just want to pick up some casual pieces, you must check out this little gem of a clothing store in Marina. Whether or not you end up buying, you won't be disappointed with the experience. This is a business that understands clothing and, importantly, excellent customer service. Kudos.

I'm not sure what the employee or workplace dynamics may have been that morning, and honestly, that's not for me to speculate about. However, whatever may be happening behind the scenes should not affect how customers are treated. A simple greeting, a smile, and basic courtesy go a long way. The sales clerk saw me walking towards that area. She asked right away if she can help and get me a room. As she opens the door- she told me if I need different sizes or needed any help to let her know. As I'm trying things on, I did need different sizes. I opened the door and waved her over. She came right away with a great attitude. She grabbed me what I needed and stayed close. I opened the door and she was right there to help. I told her I think I needed a different size again. She said she looked at all sizes but can order online for me and make sure it gets here on time for my event in a couple days. She reinsured me if I didn't like it, I could return it. Yet another Khol's, I love this chain store…read more I really wanted to make this a 5 star review based on the fact that I ALWAYS leave with wayyyy more than I need - seriously thought the customer service/ return staff is insanely awesome! What makes them so awesome you ask? I headed to Fitting Room and there I heard a woman yell out... there's a woman with a cart full of jeans??? I was shocked that an employee would yell that out into the Fitting Room to another employee??? I was like... is she talking about ME! Mind you I only took (2) pairs to try on. I was troubled by the comment thinking to myself does she think I'm stealing all these jeans... I had a small black bag that only fit my little wallet, phone and keys... not POSSIBLE!!! So, I head to the register, and the lady there says oh you found all your jeans??? I was like YES, they were referring to ME. I have been a Kohls customer for like 15 years or more and I use my Kohls credit card every time! I am disgusted by the fact that employees think everyone is in their store to steal??? No, we are NOT! It's DISRESPECTFUL to announce such a thing and if you are so concerned maybe your store should invest more on security. Also, that employee needs to be spoken to because she could have been more discreet/responsible about the whole situation. This store is rude and they NEED more CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING!

Jerry was incredibly patient, kind, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. He spent a great deal of time helping me try different styles and sizes, never making me feel rushed. Although they didn't have the exact size I needed in the shoe I wanted, Jerry went above and beyond by offering to stay in touch and let me know when new inventory arrives.
