Son started public service training and needed uniforms for class. Glad we were recommended here. As a local business, this is what defines great customer service. They helped my son find the right pair of pants, boots, belt, etc. for the field he is getting in. His pants needed hemming and they did it onsite while he waited. Would definitely recommend them to anyone in the public service industry and especially if they need any type of patches or custom fitting. Prices are industry standard but I don't mind when the service is so good. Don't know if they have military uniforms but if they can order, I would consider if still active. read more

They Never follow up when you leave your point of contact for them to contact you for uniforms badges, alterations status, etc. Been a little over a year since I've ordered a flat badge. Every time I call, they ask for name point of contact. I never get a call back. Had to go in to the store to check up on the order, they couldn't find it. They reordered the badge. Been another 4 months, as always I had to call to see if it has came in. Once again they had no information on the badge. I do not recommend this uniform store for pre orders. read more

The last time I was in this place was several years ago and the reason why I stopped going was because of the horrible service. I unfortunately had to go in recently for a newly issued uniform approved by my department. I placed the order and patiently waited. I called a month after to check on my order, and was told they would look in to it and call me back. It's been another month of waiting for that call back. Now it's been 3 months, so I once again called. I was placed on hold for over 20 minutes and I still have no uniform or answers in regards to my order. read more

The staff is very knowledgeable about their merchandise and very helpful. They were quick to help me out and knew all the stuff I needed for an upcoming academy stint. They called me once my stuff was ready and were very helpful in getting my clothes hemmed. As for pricing, they have great pricing, especially compared to what I see online. Place your orders elsewhere! You are better off ordering your stuff online. The rude staff will hit you with the "we are very busy with back orders" line and will have you waiting for your shirts while your order somehow gets lost. The incompetent staff are useless. 1) Because they're the only game in town, they charge 15-25% above what everyone else charges. 2) They don't do refunds so make sure you really need what you're looking for BEFORE you pay because you will not be getting your money back (in-store credit/exchange only). I dropped in to have velcro sewn on my military uniform squadron patch. I was greeted immediately by friendly staff. I expected to leave my patch and return another day. A staff member took my patch and took it directly to the seamstress who spent less than 10 mins to complete the job. I was handed my completed patch and expected to pay for it but staff member said no. "It is ok." I was pleasantly surprised and thanked the staff for their service. Thank you Salinas Pro Squad staff! These guys do a great job I've been there multiple times on occasions where I had to get shirts tailored and purchasing gear for my department. All times were very pleasant. Haven't been here in awhile, and boy has it changed. The girls that work there are sooooo RUDE!!! Usually my patches are done the same day they told me they wouldn't be ready until mid next week. When I asked why so long her response was "well it's Friday, it's not that long" with a snobby attitude. Place is okay but whoever alters the uniforms, is horrible. Every uniform always has crooked shoulder patches...it never fails...so annoying. I usually take them back but then you're stuck waiting a long time. If you can go elsewhere you'd be happier. I sent get how its so hard when theres a clear guide to use from shoulder strap ok shirt. Great place! Went here for my fire academy uniforms and they knew exactly what I needed. Made it so easy! The following year got hired with cal fire and needed my embroided name taken off, but no place where I currently live would take it off. I called about 30 places and they all said no. I did not want to have to buy new shirts considering the price of them. After calling pro squad, they said I can ship it to them and they'll ship it back. I specifically spoke with Shawna, who was very helpful! I gave them a premade shipping label to return when I shipped both of my shirts down. They received it, took the name off, out the patches on, and shipped it in the same day! Shawna took her lunch break to drop it off which is incredible customer service! However, it was dropped off at the wrong place and I did not receive my shirts in time. Shawna made it right and shipped me another shirt just in time to start! The reason I gave it 4 stars is because my shirts have been lost in the mail and that was over a month and a half ago. The man told her that UPS picks up packages at USPS all the time and I will get my package eventually. I do not think I will get them and will have to buy another shirt. Shawna was incredible though, very patient with me and great at communicating! read more

They are sometimes helpful. However when I needed a uniform put in, and my badge was a patch that needed to be put on, they put on the shoulder patches and everything else and forgot the badge. Some of the people there will look give you a weird look when you ask for certain things like a notepad holder. However when it came to getting my uniform fitted and getting my boots, they were helpful. I guess it just depends on the day. read more

I have been with a local law enforcement agency for six years and have put up with them because Marina (she is the best and I followed her from Pat's Monograms). My most recent visit was the last straw. If you can avoid pro squad, do so. Order from amazon or go to San Jose. Service is slow, very disorganized and overpriced... And the owner is very rude! Best experience I've had with any sort of service. Had to get uniforms taken care of for fire academy, and the staff at prosquad took care of everything and knew exactly what I needed. One of their staff, Inedina, guided me through the whole process from getting and fitting the shirts and pants, switching the belt buckle from gold to silver, how to use tie bars and college stays, how to lace on the zippers to the boots.
