Jerry was incredibly patient, kind, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. He spent a great deal of time helping me try different styles and sizes, never making me feel rushed. Although they didn't have the exact size I needed in the shoe I wanted, Jerry went above and beyond by offering to stay in touch and let me know when new inventory arrives. No matter what location I am at, the staff will check their online inventory to see if they have what you're looking for in stock, in most cases there's been a few times where they didn't have a particular pair of shoes in stock, but they ordered for me and had it delivered to my house. Park Avenue Styles in Marina had received many positive Yelp reviews, so I thought I'd drop by to see what this store was about and, boy, did I strike gold. I walked in and was immediately greeted by the proprietor, "Fred", who began with some friendly banter before asking what he could help me with. As I described my mission, I could see that Fred was literally sizing me up. His store, though not as "warehousey" large as Men's Wearhouse, was deceptively large and had an impressive collection of suits, Tuxes, shoes and accessories for both sale and rental (as well as casual attire). After understanding my preferences, Fred picked out a couple of very nice vested suits and bow ties for me to consider for purchase. They were spot on in terms of quality, color, price, and size. Fred's eye was uncanny, and my conversation with him while trying on the goodies was both comfortable and entertaining. I also noticed that other customers who wandered into his shop greeted Fred by name and quite obviously were repeat customers. This was a very good sign. Fred presented me with an attractive package I could not resist and even steered me to a tailor in the same vicinity who would perform the alterations. I realized that Fred took tremendous pride in his business and actually enjoyed his job. He was an easy person to like and trust, and I thoroughly enjoyed my shopping experience with him. So, if you are in the market to buy or rent a tux or suit, or just want to pick up some casual pieces, you must check out this little gem of a clothing store in Marina. I already knew color and size I needed. Nobody was checking in to grab my size so I went up to register and I asked the female at register for 6.5. With attitude she asked if it was for women or kids. I said kids and one of the guys went to grab them. While making the exchange I got the worst attitude from this female employee. She would not even make eye contact or say a word to me but continued to chat it up with the male employees. Opened the shoes I was exchanging (which were in perfect condition) and threw the box on the floor. Very passive aggressive. I believe she thought I was buying kids shoes for myself. And what if I was? it is not her money or inventory. The whole experience was terrible. The male employees were helpful. But this female with long black pony tail needs more customer service training.
