Please think twice before supporting Yun's. I've brought clothing to her in the past and often left wondering if I should try somewhere else, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Most recently, I went in for a dress alteration. I explained clearly what I liked and didn't like, but she ignored my input completely. She told me she charges $40 per hour, which I accepted. However, she then claimed it would take more than 10 hours to complete a job that another tailor ended up finishing in just 3 hours. When I told her I would not be moving forward, she became upset and demanded I pay her $40 for a 20-minute consultation--something she never mentioned upfront. I offered to pay $20 for the time, which felt fair, and asked if I could pay by card or Zelle. She refused and told me she would keep my dress unless I paid her in cash. I was shocked. Up to that point, she had always seemed kind. But as soon as I declined her services, her demeanor completely changed. In my experience, her pricing is inconsistent, and I often felt like I was being overcharged or misled. I've brought different garments to her before, and the pricing never seemed to follow any logic. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Yun's due to the lack of professionalism and transparency. read more

This review is solely based on customer service. I am in a wedding & the bride is ordering all the bridesmaids' dresses. It wasn't something I had any say in. I called & explained the situation to whoever answered the phone. I asked if I could come in & have my measurements taken to send to the bride, and then once the dress arrived, I'd take it in for any alterations. I offered to pay to have my measurements taken. She said she makes dresses, so unless she's making the dress she won't do any measurements. That is not a way to do business in my opinion. The last time I asked for an original hem, and although it took longer, I was so impressed and happy with the result! She's so talented. She does tend to run late sometimes on the date for pick up, but keep in mind that it's only her doing all the work. Have to admit her work is good, but the time it takes her to get the work done is unacceptable. I dropped off my suit over two weeks before I needed it. She gave me a completion date of 2-9. I went on the 13th and it wast done. She told me it would be done in a week and when I went back in a week, still not done. I told her i needed it by the 20th, first thing in the morning as I was catching a flight. I called her the morning I was going to pick it up, she said it wasn't done, wtf!!!! Lee is the absolute best Iv used since I was stationed over seas in the Marine Corps. She is from Korea and has an extensive background that will knock your socks off. She used to cut and design dresses and suits. She had 30 employees at one time during her success in Korea and a HUGE business office. She won't make hand made items any longer because she's always overwhelmed with her current work load, and as she told me , we are both getting older and much more tired! This store is a rip off.Don't go.I wish I could give her -0 I brought my beautiful wedding dress to her. Super Disappointed how she sewed it to keep a train up. She put a piece of shitty strains in my dress to hold my train up!She put 2 hooks without an eyes!! My train material was too heavy for the thread that she sewed in my dress to hold it up! She should put a hook and eye instead of that crapy job she did for my dress and even it caused my dress to be damaged. Those shitty strains broke up as soon as we tried to hook the train up and I had to hold that heavy train all night on my hands and could not dance and also got rashes between my legs as holding it in front of me for all night long plus my dress got super dirty as well!! She ruined my most important night with her Awful job!! And she does not care at all!!! First when I went to her to fix it for me on june 2019, she write a receipt for $150 and I paid $100 of that right away.Then when I called her to see my dress is ready,she said yes come n get it,without saying any thing else.When I came to pick up my dress with a friend,she start crying and raising her voice on me and telling me you should pay me at least $50 extra than $150 on receipt as I work very hard on your dress!! Wth Who does that when they work as a professional?? Right! They can not ask you for more ! She gave me a very negative vibe with crying and complaining on that day!I kept telling her this is my wedding dress and when you cry,this give me a negative energy. I paid her $170 instead of $150 on receipt which still have my original receipt but still she was not happy at all n still crying. Was quoted a price to begin with for suit tailoring a pair of pants $160. I thought it was steep but agreed to it and paid upfront in cash. She said come back in 2 weeks. I came back 3 weeks later and she said she hadn't gotten to it yet. I came back 4 weeks later and said it's ready but I forgot to charge you the full price, you owe me another $45. So to get my suit back I paid this new surprise fee. Altogether $200 to tailor a suit, I should have just bought a new one. So frustrated and I feel swindled. read more

I just tried on my shirt after having Lee fit it for my body. I have to say that I am very impressed! She even offered to stitch my thick, ripped leather jacket together and I couldn't even tell which side was ripped when I got it back. If you still have doubts, don't! This is a one woman show-Lee runs the place on her own! As a result, turn around time might be slower than other businesses, so if you're in a rush this might not be the place for you. Lee has met all of my deadlines/given times, but I haven't needed anything right away. She's affordable and very accommodating (she will stay after hours if you tell her in advance). I will NEVER go here again. I've had her alter two bridesmaid dresses of mine for my brother's wedding and now for my best friend's wedding and she was late on both! I didn't have one of them until THE DAY OF THE WEDDING when I was told it would be done on a prior date. Now with this second dress, not only did she have someone do it and then she had to redo it herself which made it late, it isn't even done the way I asked for and I leave town for the wedding tomorrow. Let me not forget to mention her attitude. Poor customer service skills! When I called asking if my dress was done on the second date I was given to pick it up, she didn't know what dress I was talking about and resorted to just telling me it wasn't ready so my aunt called back (she originally referred me to her) to see what was going on and all she could do was make up excuses instead of digesting the complaint and solving it, come to find out MY DRESS WAS DONE AT THIS TIME. She literally just told me it wasn't to get me off the phone. Didn't even go check after I gave her my name. Lee's does a great job, if you're willing to be patient and are not in a rush. I've probably been there 6-10 times in the last two or three years. The lady always does a great job, but I'd say at least three times I went to pick up clothes on the day they were promised and they weren't ready. At least once, I went back a second time and they still weren't ready. That being said- I don't know how the poor woman keeps up with all the work she has. But I continue to go to her because she is friendly, does a great job, and is cheap. If you're in a rush- go to Julian's on Main Street, but be prepared to pay a lot more. read more

My wife went to this place 2 weeks ago to get an alteration done for a wedding we are going to this weekend. She went to pick up the item yesterday (the day it was scheduled to be done) and it had not been touched. I moved to the area not long ago and had no idea where to go to get some last minute emergency alterations for some clothes I had to have before traveling the next week.
