I forgot to ask for salsa, for a little kick but there was a jalapeño so made up for it. I do recommend it. Ten of ten. I did not have cash but i was able to pay with Cash App. If im ever in the area again i will surely stop for some more food. Thank you.

RAMON'S TACOS HAS MOVED!!!!!!…read more They are no longer in the parking lot of the El Campo Market on the side of 140. There is now a different (not nearly as good) truck in that spot. Ramon's is just about two blocks away, just a couple of turns down the road. The truck is actually still visible from the side of 140 if you look closely, but it is a little further from the road than it was before. Ramon's truck is now parked in what seems to be the driveway of Ramon's house. Maybe there was some sort of rent dispute with El Campo? (I don't know.) What I do know is that the best tacos in Planada, the greater Yosemite area, and the greater Central Valley are from Ramon's. So, having found this information in the comments on someone else's review, I recently headed out to Ramon's, and re-experienced the bliss. I ordered a carne asada burrito, and it was everything I'd been dreaming of and missing for months. The carne asada is so tender, so flavorful, and so on point. All grilled onions are good, but there is something extra special about these. The rice, the beans, the crema, all as fresh as can be. The value of the huge burrito with top tier ingredients for about $14 cannot be beat (unless you make it yourself and happen to be a pro). This is literally my favorite taco truck of all time outside of SoCal. If you are driving down the 140 to or from Yosemite, it is definitely worth the two block detour. Highest recommendations. Twelve stars.

Plazuelas Mexican Restaurant, Oakhurst: 2026 Aug 5 (3.95 of 5)…read more Adrian, our server was gracious and friendly We were served water, complementary chips and salsa when seated. The chips were made in-house and had that clean fresh taste. The salsa was spicy but we couldn't stop eating. (4.5 of 5) Their prices are high for where they are located and our food didn't come with rice and beans. We agreed that the confirmation of a great Mexican restaurant comes from the rice and beans they serve. (4 of 5) Rib Eye Tacos: The rib eye tacos feature juicy, richly marbled steak cubes piled into warm home-made flour tortillas, topped with caramelized onions, cabbage and guacamole. The tender pieces of meat had great complexity, was well-charred, and had a nice mouthfeel. It breaks down easily with minimal chewing and the taste lingers on my tongue after each bite. (4.75 of 5) Fish Tacos: From street-food to table-top specialty, this is a popular Mexican dish. Their Ensenada-style beer-battered halibut served on homemade corn tortillas with pineapple-cabbage slaw and garlic chipotle sauce is crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Squeezing a generous amount of lime juice added a bright, sharp sour taste that cuts through and balances the overall flavour. (4.5 of 5) Atmosphere: The place is clean with table and chairs well spread out, but the music blaring over the speakers made conversations difficult. This eatery looks out onto the parking lot. (2 of 5) Location: This is located in an anchor business area so FREE parking is easily accessible. Service: Adrian was our server. He was genuine, unpretentious, and sincere. He's only been working there for 6-years, but he may be the anchor to this family-owned eatery. Plazuelas Mexican: A passion for honest, uncomplicated, and authentic flavours.
