My son treated me to lunch at El potrero today. The food was so good. Service is always good. The people are friendly and efficient.

I had a 16 oz Blue Moon at lunch Thursday. Was charged just over $8 - totally nuts. Food was good.

Nothing but meat on our tacos! Nothing came to the table how it should have been! Chalupa with just lettuce! Awful! Never again!

I should've gone to Taco Bell, because it would have been money better spent- unfortunately. And…read moreFYI I really don't like Taco Bell. Do not waste your time or money on this one. The food was appalling and abysmal, and quite frankly, I had serious indigestion afterwards. This place is a joke as far as 'burritos' go. We stopped in for lunch, and my husband and I were famished. We had wanted to support a local business and we were rather eager to try this newer business. The place was empty (bad sign) during what should be typically the actual lunch rush. There was no one at the counter, nobody around at all. We had to yell into the back kitchen area and finally some guy came out and disinterestedly asked what we wanted to order with his arms folded (way to give off a good impression - not). We liked at the prices and realized they were kinda ridiculous- and the menu was very limited. The fixings were all lined up at the counter in chafing/serving dishes, like Subway and Qdoba. It really didn't look all that impressive, or fresh, yet we decided to give it a chance, though we almost walked out and should've. It was nearly $25 wasted for small portions of inauthentic, stale, assembly line style food.. and we got indigestion. Thanks, a lot, Burrito Bros. Literally, they charge additional up charges for everything- fir stuff you can easily get elsewhere for less money. The only guy working was rude, sulky, took a long time to make our food, threw it together and both of our orders were messy and not terribly appealing. My order was also wrong- I didn't ask for peppers and my burrito was full of very stale peppers which had brownish edges and were awful (they weren't tinged brown from grilling, they were not fresh). My food was a sloppy mess and inedible. I threw it out. My husband's food was flavorless and didn't fresh, either. He didn't even eat very much of it although he was very hungry. As for ambiance, there isn't any. It looks like they opened in a hurry and put little or no effort into the conceit, layout, design etc. There are a few tables to dine in, but really it's just a takeout place. Don't waste your use and money in this one. I did so you don't have to.

This is for Back Alley Subs Great sandwiches!…read moreLove the bread they use, a fresh soft roll with a chewy texture. Great prices for their small and large sandwiches. The Philly and meatball subs were awesome. A good amount of meat and the red sauce for the meatball sub wasn't sweet which we like. Italian and roastbeef sub have agood amount of meat and very good

And excuse me!!! $8.99 for a small cup of queso?! What!! Also $4.25 for a tea or Coke with no refills. The beef enchiladas barely had any meat in it the chicken enchiladas had two pieces of white breast and neither had flavor....no flavor the salsa taste just like tomatoes had no flavor at all all the portions were small, the rice was waxy it just was not good. The street tacos the barbacoa one I got was nothing but fat and onions. The al pastor was all pineapple and hardly any meat. Lots of seating and bar area and plenty of parking. Not especially cheap either and the tea I asked for two different ice teas because you could see right through it and it tastes like water and both of them were the exact same. Server did not come back very often and didn't seem to understand what I was requesting when I asked for more salsa or a replacement tea. I definitely won't be back and I hate to say that. The ambience is so so there was no one there so it's hard to gauge. Call this for a cool $70 for two people for lunch. Not a fan.

Better than I anticipated…read more Good service, great beer selections, including several great craft beers and plenty on draft beers, and pretty decent appetizers. We had the pretzel app and it was plenty for two to split. It didn't truly seem like a sports bar- and that's a great thing- I typically dislike loud sports bar places.. Definitely a decent spot for a beer and app!

I've grown quite fond of this sports bar tucked away in a strip mall. Looking at the tinted windows…read moreand generic posters, from the outside you wouldn't expect much more than a dive bar with a couple of TV's. What a great surprise to find an absolute fantastic sports bar. Tons of TV's fill the walls of the bar, immersing you in a many viewing options. The biggest and best surprise I've had coming here though has to be the food. I've had the pizza and then most recently their version of the Monte Cristo. Of course, the gold standard for me for this sandwich is the Bennigan's version. Is it really the best? Probably not, but it's what I remember loving growing up and what I hold all future Monte Cristos against. This one was very good. On one hand I really enjoyed that it was crispier than I've had before, but I think it did change the flavor a little especially dipping it into the raspberry jam. The only real knock I have on the place is their craft beer selection. Kind of plain Jane. Wouldn't mind having a couple more exotic choices to the list. But that's just a minor issue and really doesn't take away from the overall great experience. Great staff, great service, great food and a great time.
