Welcomed addition to Fenton. Finally great Tex Mex in Michigan. The green Peruvian sauce is really awesome.

Everything was 10/10 from the free chips and salsa, to the margaritas, to the tacos. Lydia, our server, was especially friendly and attentive. We will be back!

Here's a Yelp review you could post:…read more We stopped into Sagebrush Cantina for lunch and had a pretty good experience overall. We started with the chips and salsa. The chips tasted homemade, thin and crispy with just the right amount of salt. The salsa was a little thinner than I prefer, but it had a nice kick once it arrived. For our meal, we ordered the chicken, steak, and shrimp fajitas. The steak and chicken were both moist, flavorful, and well seasoned. The shrimp, unfortunately, didn't have much flavor, and I was disappointed by the vegetable ratio. There was a huge bed of onions and only about one pepper in the mix. One of the highlights was the steak tacos. The steak was chopped into small pieces, packed generously into the tortillas, and so tender and juicy that you could barely close them. They were absolutely delicious. We also tried the handmade chicken taquitos appetizer. They come cut into smaller pieces rather than whole taquitos, but don't let that fool you. The chicken was finely shredded, the crispy exterior was perfect, and the spicy sauce that came with them was excellent. The portion was surprisingly large and easily shareable. A special shoutout to our server, Parker. He was fantastic. He checked on us frequently without being intrusive, offered menu recommendations, brought us extra tortillas without us even having to ask, and genuinely made us feel welcome. Great service can make a meal memorable, and Parker definitely did that. There is plenty of parking since the restaurant is located in a plaza, though it's easy to drive right past it if you're not paying attention. The only downside was the price. Lunch ended up being around $20 per person, which feels a little high. Still, the quality of the food and excellent service make it a place I'd return to.I'd probably rate that 4 stars: great service, excellent tacos and taquitos, good fajitas overall, a great meal.

Food was decently priced and tasty. I got the fish tacos, battered, and omg, it's probably the best fish tacos I've had by far. Huge pieces, size of my hand and came in 3 tacos for a great price! I can't normally eat a lot at a time but I definitely devoured all 3 tacos! Very lightweight and lightly but fully battered! Some of the freshest fish to have too!

I was not happy to learn that refills on chips and salsa cost $3.50 when every other Mexican restaurant I've ever gone to offers them for free. Also the chips are clearly out of the bag. Very hard and flavorless but the salsa was great with a little bit of heat. My chimichanga was bigger than I expected and too cheesy. The meat had lots of seasoning now I got the ground beef. The beans and the rice were good the beans had good flavors as well. I has been got the ground beef tacos with fried flour and those were excellent. The mountain dew was more fizz than syrup you could see right through it. The service was good. The place was very clean and very quiet we went at lunch time on a Monday. The menus are clean and they seem to be recently updated with lots to choose from. They also have standard American fair like hamburgers and such. Overall I would go back I just would order differently. Please do something about your chips! As good as your fried flour shells were it's a huge disappointment.

The Brussel tacos $5 are great, enjoyed chicken enchiladas $15 and corn battered bites- chorizo hush puppies $5. Enjoyed happy hour: carne assda, 2 Baja fish, crab cake taco $5-6 each.Easy to share food, small bites. Large menu. Downstairs is nice, street level, a bit darker. Upstairs has windows that overlook the street. Good place for groups & families. Brighton can get expensive for meals, so we appreciated the "tapas" small bites, fun to share. It has character that adds to the experience. We had a fairly large group, we were seated upstairs where it is bright and more spacious than expected. The service was excellent! Very attentive and the food arrived quickly and accurately. The group ordered mostly the carne asada and the Al pastor tacos. It arrives mostly on the same tray and each person grabs their tacos. They were all Presented nicely with tasty toppings. Another person ordered the quesadilla and another ordered a rice bowl, I ordered the wet burrito. It was very big and was filled with a good amount of chicken and lots of rice, topped with queso. We ordered the chips and salsa and the chips and trio, this includes salsa, queso and guacamole. We requested the hot salsa as well. We enjoyed everything! We left full and satisfied. I would certainly eat here again. Great flavors! Quick side note, the prices are on the high side, chips and salsa are not complimentary and each item is ala cart. A side of rice and each salsa, jalapeños etc. gets pricey and when it's added to the tacos priced individually, the bill climbs quickly. Just something to take into consideration when planning an outing.
