I went in today with a group of friends and it was a horrible experience and the sad part was it was the manager who took our order. I forgot to say no pico de gallo on my chicken bowl and she rolled her eyes and walked over and told them and when I recieved it it had it on. They all work well as a team, delivering fast and excellent service. 5/5 Food - There is something about the food at this Pollo Loco that others don't have (not that the other restaurants are bad, but I prefer this one). There is much more flavor and care put into making the food here. My favorite food here is the quesadillas alongside the chicken, of course. It's refreshing to try good chicken from here, which you don't get from most other chicken fast-food restaurants. The churros are also delicious! Atmosphere - This restaurant is spotless and maintained very well. Wasn't petty enough to leave a review until now. they forget parts of the orders, even tell you it's in the bag when it's not. I check after leaving drive thru - 100% of the time have to get back in line, every single time. If you place an online order & request a certain amt of salsas, they'll never give you tht amt. It seemed like she was mocking me + purposely provoking and trolling, she didn't say a word, had a nasty ugly attitude the whole time w/the eye rolling. If you treat a customer like this for no reason, expect the same energy back, I left without saying thank you. If she's in any sort of managerial position here, she doesnt look or act the part, if she is I have no clue how she made it that far w/tht personality. not the only rude employee here either, I just don't go out of my way to complain but wasn't going to let this go. This was the worst service we have ever received at an El Pollo Loco! We used a coupon for a meal for two. It was for four pieces of chicken (two drums, two thighs), two small sides, two loco salads, salsa, tortillas of choice and two churros. We chose to dine in because outside temps were over 100 and we live half an hour from town. When our number was called I had to ask for salsa, my two small salads were missing, the pkg of corn tortillas were folded in half and cracked. I asked for fresh tortillas and could we get more than just two corn tortillas for a meal meant for two people!? The kids handing out the orders had to ask the supervisor on duty if he can get fresh tortillas and if he can give me two more tortillas! Really? That is crap training! What does two more tortillas cost them that they couldn't just give them up to please a customer?! The supervisor actually told him no! Two tortillas was all I get with that meal. It wasn't a meal for one, it was for two! We have extended family that own and run several EPL and I know for a fact that it's two to three tortillas per person that the meal is meant to serve! I'm done! My hubby had to go back to ask for utensils and napkins. The store was filthy. What I thought was another young worker coming to the floor to clean the tables and sweep, was actually an associate taking their lunch break amongst the mess. I come home and ask for the discount and can not get it only "Police" discount but no military. This doesn't sit right with me.
