I know a lot of people are hard on this location for a numerous of reasons, however some people are impossible to satisfy. There was a big misunderstanding with the employee that took my order via drive thru, that pretty much ruined 80% of the meal for my wife + kids. I drove back to store once I realized this isn't what I thought we ordered, the manager addressed the miscommunication but wasn't rude about it. She made the order I desired 100% fresh and didn't charge me at all. Shame on me for not getting her name but she handled it with grace and professionalism. What a dreadful experience. I went in to get a meal to go. Now they have ridiculous computers to order from. I asked if a human being could please take my order. First of all the sullen very young girl ignored me. I asked again. She said she'd help me pointing at the computer. I said I wasn't using a computer to order. Service has improved significantly the past few months. A lot has to do with new manager who has not only improved the service and quality of customer service but handles complaints in a professional manner. However, there is one manager I don't understand why she Camilla is still a manager. She is a bad example to the younger staff as she is petty, rude and just likes to say No. I have been going to this location since it opened. Almost all the staff knows me and has even asked "we all wonder why do you request the 2 sides of Mac and Cheese in one container" she was super sweet about it. The reason being is we go to this location pollo loco 3x"s a day. The manager is super nice and one day I had Camilla take my order and refuse to put the 2 sides of Mac and cheese in one container. She was very nasty about refusing to do it. It appears as if she enjoys just saying No. The next day I went to speak with the Manager in the morning and he said one container is cheaper than 2 small containers I'm not sure why she would give you a hard time. I'll make sure to put a sticky up so no one gives you a hard time regarding your request. This was months ago. No issues since. This evening in drive through the young girl who took my order said I need to check if I can do that. The manager said "No" I pulled up to the window asked to speak with the manager in charge and it was Camilla Again. Refusing to do it. She then said she needed to charge me extra to put it in a large container. I asked "why?" It's the same amount I'm not asking for extra just 2 small container amounts in 1. I then had to divulge my Sons medical condition to her in order to get her to do it and explain that she is the only person who gives me a hard time with this. She then said "rudely" you could have asked nicely. I did when you refused twice till I told Camilla my son's condition which is personal medical info. The girl who took my order which was kind and professional then turned just as rude as the manager. And snatched my Debt card from me. This is proof that she is not management material and her unprofessionalism is reflecting on the young staff. So disappointed in Pollo Loco allowing such unprofessional behavior and having to divulge private medical conditions just to get compassion and understanding and respect during a visit. I had the worst experience at this location. Went through the drive thru ordered a double chicken avocado salad. Pulled up to the window Cynthia was cussing we could hear her because they left the window open. Didn't ask me for any salsa and completely ignored me. I'm not sure what's going on with this location, but they can never seem to get the online orders correct. I've made two online orders recently. On the first order, I did not find out they were out on an item until I arrived to pick up my order. On the second order, which I ordered an hour ahead of time, it was not ready when I arrived and waited an additional 15 mins. I was offered something different than I ordered because they "just ran out" of an item right before I arrived. Don't think I'll be returning to this location again. They were not done cooking, I had never had such undercooked beans from there. I actually put them on stove and after 30 min, still hard. Also, I ordered a mixed and got only legs/thighs (my fault for not checking, knowing the history). Is too far for me to go back.
