I ordered the chicken bowl, but when I got home and opened my food, the avocado was clearly bad, made me feel as if everything else is bad the food didn't even look appealing after seeing that. Most definitely will be giving a 1 star. At least have the decency to give a fresh avocado ! read more

El Pollo Loco - Excellent service here at el Pollio Loco thanks to Rafael and Javier and the rest of the crew - Mexican Near Me - Hesperia, California

I love El Pollo Loco but today I tried their chicken tenders. What a waste of money, I should have ordered my usual chicken meal. Taste was horrible, dried and too salty breading. If you want good tasting tenders go to McDonalds. El pollo Loco, stick to what you know best "Grilling". read more

Oh yes! I grew up here in Cali and this place will always have a special place in my heart. The original hasn't t changed, the mango habanero is the BOMB! (The Bomb! - r we still saying this!?) Before heading to Vegas, husband wanted to see if it's still the same. Sure enough but actually better! The highlight is the habanero mango chicken. We had a whole chicken half OG and the other half is the Habanero mango. We also went for the salad. So, with the Picadillo, our chicken number, plus the salad? SOLID! I highly recommend it. Do not miss this wherever you can find "EL POLLO LOCO". It'll make you Lucas and locos - TODOS! Hehe (Sorry, my Spanish is rusty). Anywho, super good and it will it disappoint anyone even the abuelos! read more

Stay away!!!! I used to love el pollo loco and now I despise it ! Never have I had food poisoning in my life and this place traumatized me and will be checking reviews everywhere in the high desert , my bf and I went to the drive thru last Tuesday and I had a a chicken tostada bowl , I got severe food poisoning and still healing from it a week later ! Stay away!!!!!!! 00000000000! read more

I just ordered 2 Reg Chicken Tostada salads again, 3 months later, the Grilled Chicken was so dry, this time we threw it away! For 13.00+ this was smaller than my hand! No cheese, no salsa, hardly any lettuce and the shells weren't worth eating, and 1 tiny cup of dressing. Goodbye El Pollo Loco! read more

I ordered catering I paid around $350 for quiet of bit of food, which didn't disappoint! What did was services provided at location. I walking a bit earlier and witnessed Mayra telling another employee to make a regular salad, instead of catering size which I paid $29 for. After I went thru the bags and found that 2 of gravy sauce didn't have a LID which spilled everywhere in the bag she replace them with smaller containers instead of the same one. The Mac cheese was so spilled also replaced. I ordered a jumbo mashed potatoes and Mac cheese and all the containers were the same size which I think was extra large I just didn't feel like saying anything since I had a party to host . read more

I'm a regular at this establishment. The staff is friendly and try to meet your expectations

Bought a buckét of chicken, coleslaw and pintô beans. A few hours later I was violently vommiting. Never Pollo Loco again.

I've come here during the lunch rush, and I still get my food super quick but it's always still so delicious! I'm a big fan of the double chicken tostada, and I really like that this location gives you 2 of the sauces. Also, get the double chicken it's so worth it they give you so much chicken! read more

Amazing! Very quick service and very clean dining area! My favorite pollo loco location in the high desert by far!

I ordered the family feast today at the drive thru, waited so long to order and when it was time to pay, the cashier told us our former d was not ready and to wait in the front parking lot. Waited for the food for 26 minutes and went home to realize the order was wrong. Customer service here does not exist. Management needs to be calibrated and restructured. Paid so much money to receive the wrong order and no apology for waiting for nearly an hour. Pathetic. read more

I've been to many El Pollo Loco locations and this one has to be by far one of the worst I've tried. Portions are half the size of most locations, the quality is not great, and there is no balance of ingredients. Quesadilla had barely any chicken, one tiny slice of avocado, and was filled with more pico than any other ingredient. Their cilantro dressing is gross and like jello but I love it from other locations. Probably won't be returning to this one. read more

Wish I could give more stars the food is always so good unfortunately my order is never correct or complete and I don't find out until I get home with it, every dang time. The location is Main Street drive through and it's not convenient digging through the bag to see what could have been forgotten. Very disappointing to come home with salads and no dressing and no salsas either even when specifically asked for. read more

We had a large order yesterday for our family and it was handled easily. Everything came out quickly and correct. I usually get the original chicken bowl, but I ordered the chicken avocado bowl this time and it was delicious. It was actually so filling it ended up being too big for me. Location was clean and plenty of parking. read more

Clean and friendly this visit, but like almost everything else in the fast food industry over priced food for the quality you get.

Best staff in the High Desert. Food is always fresh. The place is clean and the quality of food is on point. Great place to eat. read more

El Pollo Loco - And they Cater!!! - Mexican Near Me - Hesperia, California

The food was fresh and made to order. No trouble at all ordering and the staff were friendly and very helpful.

A very welcoming environment. The food is fresh! I got a chipotle burrito if you like spicy this burrito is deliciously good.

After tonight, I realize why I like this location so much. I could have gone to another one, but since I have good experiences here before, I came back and I am glad I did. The young lady who took my order in drive thru was very nice. They even complimented my dog. The food was fresh and reasonably priced. I got the extra dressing and salsa I asked for. This is now my favorite El Pollo Loco! read more

This is the palm size chuck of lettuce in my chicken tostada salad. you can't cut up the lettuce. As you can see, the tortilla bowl is broken in several places. makes no sense you see the crap you are serving before you pack it up. Hesperia spot, you suck balls. Got to let cooperate know your BS. read more

Always good service and the place inside is neat too, food is ready quick and it's freshh. 10/10 recommend this place!!

This is my go-to El Pollo Loco in the High Desert area. I usually get their 10 pieces of chicken with leg and thigh. Love their flame charbroiled flavor chicken... so very delicious! It's in the marinate. Sometimes I'll order their chicken tostada which is very good, too. As for sides, spanish rice and mash potatoes are my choices. Gotta go for the flour tortilla + cilantro sauce + salsa. They do mail out coupons for special deals. Take advantage of that... depending on who you get at the drive thru window, you may get the coupon back for future usage until expiration date. That works for me! =) They used to have flan, but no more which is a bummer. I really liked their flan. They may still have their churro though, but I don't order it from them anymore. I like Costco's churro better. Staff is usually pleasant. Service is quick. Prices are average. Anyway, give them a try when you're in the area. Happy Pollo Loco'ing! read more

I have to tell you, my husband and I wanted Nachos, told, we're out of this, that, so he ordered a family chicken meal, the small dried up chicken I nearly chocked on, I am a throat cancer survivor, was flavorless, and looked like yesterday's! Years ago when I worked in fast food chicken, we were taught, if you won't eat it, DO NOT SERVE IT. Sadly this El Pollo will be out of customers too! read more

Great deal. Very helpful in ordering. Got 2 meals for 1 price. Will be back. Environment was good.

10 out of 10 everything they had great great workers and great service i love the churros especially!

Over $14.00 for the worst, absolutely horrible "food!" Wings and leg lovers "specials" and the size of legs and wings were smaller than those on a Cornish game hen!! They had no taste, except burnt! No seasoning at all! Dried out/charred/old and miniscule pieces of what definitely does NOT qualify as chicken!! How in the world do they get away with selling this??! I'm totally done with this rip off place!! read more

My chicken was overly blackened and very dry. Flavor was good as always. Avocado stuffed quesadilla was very good but everything very expensive even before the $20 hour wage increases has gone in. Think I'll BBQ my own chicken in the future.. read more

. My fiancé went to the drive thru and when she got back home realized half the order was not given. Spoke the the manager who was very apologetic and said she would add an extra side for the inconvenience. Went to pick up the food and the same manager (Myra) acted like she had no idea what was going on and kept it like that until I got upset and then she mysteriously remembered the whole order which was left and who she spoke to on the phone. Horrible service read more

I got a response thanking me for my review but I highly doubt anyone at El Pollo Loco read it as I still never received the free churro for writing my initial review (which is what El Pollo was advertising at the time), or "Olivia" did read it and just didn't care to act. Since then I've twice gone to the other El Pollo Loco restaurant in town and have been advising friends, family and co-workers to do the same as the management at their location on MAIN ST IN HESPERIA, CA. clearly doesn't care about their customers based on how they've treated me. read more
