    5. Tallarin Verde DELICIOUS
    Tim B.

We came in the evening, not too long before they closed and we were greeted with a very friendly " Please come in.". The inside was warm and inviting. And the gentleman who served us was very kind and welcoming. We ordered the arroz con mariscos and the tallarín verde with the beef. Both were outstanding.. The rice had just the right amount of seafood flavor in it and was cooked with calamari, a jumbo shrimp, some small shrimp, squid, and a mussel. Along with that it had corn and red onions inside and it was absolutely delicious. The tallarín had an amazing flavor and the beef was also seasoned very well and you could see that it was pounded out with a mallet to tenderize it even more. The two sauces that they give you to spice it up - both delicious and we found that the green one paired well with the rice, and the yellow one paired well with the pasta. Come try this place. It's a smaller Mom and Pop type place thatt makes amazing food. And it has great service.

This small Mom and Pop Family Owned Restaurant has the best Peruvian Food in Corona. They put their passion and love in making their food and you can taste it! Stop by and give them a try. The service is fast and friendly.

Literally the only Peruvian restaurant that populated near Riverside. I'm a huge fan of Peruvian food, Mario's place on Melrose is the GOAT. Not gonna lie this spot did it for me, the food was solid, the green sauce wasn't on point or spicy. The ceviche was wonderful, as well as the portion sizes. I will be back to try other dishes.

This is an awesome Peruvian place for Corona. I worked in (my opinion) THE BEST Peruvian restaurant in SoCal called El Pollo Inka (4 locations in LA County; Hermosa Beach is my favorite). This is what I rate the dishes i had here: Lomo Saltado 3.8/5, 1/2 chicken with rice and salad 3/5, Ceviche de Pescado 5/5, and sauces (ají and what looked like huancaina 2/5. The lomo was flavorful with decent meat and the rice for all dishes was great! The chicken I had was very dry and seasoning just not my favorite. The salad had no dressing and was old lettuce so I didn't even bother trying it. Ceviche was by far my favorite and I'd come back for that. It's a mom and pop place so don't expect a fancy, romantic restaurant. They have really good dessert options and I'm curious to try their soup as well so I'll definitely be back for more!

Oh my goodness. This place is a GEM! I'm Peruvian and I know how dishes should taste and let me tell you.... After trading several Peruvian places in the area.. this is THE place. I am coming back and back and back... tastes like home I ordered online and went to pick up, we ordered ceviche mixto, arroz con mariscos, papa a la huancaina, ají de gallina and a big bottle of lucuma ice cream along some delicious sweets! we are all enchanted. Definitely a happy customer!

The Lomo Saltado had great flavor, though the beef was slightly overcooked. Still, the seasoning carried the dish. The fries were a standout--crispy and really well done. I was a bit let down by the fish. Since it came with chili, I expected more heat, but the chili sauce ended up being pretty bland. That was probably the weakest part of the meal. One surprise was the special: a stromboli at a Peruvian restaurant. It definitely caught me off guard, but it was actually really well made. I'm guessing they lean into some fusion here, which I'm totally open to. We wrapped things up with tiramisu, which was tasty and a nice way to end the meal--even if it added to the overall "eclectic" vibe. All in all, it's an interesting mix of flavors and styles. A bit unconventional, but worth trying at least once--maybe even again if you're in the mood for something different.

The dining area is a very clean and comfortable. Once seated, an aji verde salsa and cancha was brought to the table. The cancha is a nice touch, the corn is crispy and light. I ordered the Pollo Saltado with an extra portion of rice and a Chicha Morada. The beverage was very refreshing. The meal came out quickly. The chicken was tender and well seasoned with soy without being too salty. There was a fair amount of onions and tomatoes which were stir-fried along with the meat. The fries were freshly made with a light crispy exterior and creamy interior to soak up the saltado sauce. The aji verde salsa was on the spicy side but tasted good as an accompaniment to the dish. There was plenty of sauce from the stir fry for the extra portion of rice I ordered. I plan on ordering the Lomo Saltado next time. The staff were polite and efficient. Plenty of parking in their lot. Definitely on the list for the next time I am in the area.

Add the green sauce they serve and you have a fire worth fighting. I definitely recommend this dish if you stop by here. Tallarin verde con lomo- the lomo was delicious but the pasta was a little too harsh on the pesto. Still good though. Menu is limited but if you're into lomo you should give this place a try. We place our order, Thankfully the food came out, and was good (thanks Mr cook). 1 one of us at the table asked for the salsa, they normally give you with the food, He doesn't seemed to please and come back with 1 small salsa for 2 adults with large plates, non the less we didn't say anything we ate our food, and did not anything, at this whole time we finished out meal and our amazing waiter had yet to come see if we perhaps needed water or something, 10 mins later we stand up and go pay at the counter, with him because he was now cooking. . After terrible service from him we close the check, and he tells my brother "you don't know how to say thank you?"
