Actually, better than I expected based on the restaurant's overall rating. Aztecas has a nice environment, the staff was friendly, and the food I tried was solid. I just wasn't exactly operating at 100 percent, so I'm willing to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt that I might have enjoyed the experience even more under better circumstances. You know it's a rough week when your stomach is the toughest restaurant critic at the table. Still, even with my questionable timing, Aztecas delivered a good meal in a pleasant setting with friendly service. Four stars. I think this place is better than its overall rating suggests, and I'd be willing to come back when my stomach and I are once again on speaking terms.
