Really cool spot and great food! It's nice having other options than the typical Tex mex options.

I've been there twice hoping the first was just an off day. Go somewhere else because a short drive isn't worth being overcharged

Amazing Mexican spot in Daphne! Found them online and was intrigued by the photos and reviews, so…read morewe decided to check it out. Upon arriving we noticed the big parking lot, good location, and when we walked in we were greeted immediately. Inside was nicely decorated, dimly lit, and clean. We promptly got sat on a Sunday afternoon, and quickly got served water, got our drink orders, and food orders put in. The brunch menu is from 12-3, with mimosas and bloody Maria's. The bloody was really nice - could tell it had tequila! Old fashion was nice not overly Smokey. Onto the food, the tamales were some of the best I've had. They were HUGE. They came with birria, great consume, flavorful poblano rice, delicious poblano and corn cream (something of that nature) was so creamy and was GREAT. I couldn't believe how hot and fresh everything was. It was some of the best Mexican I've had. My husband enjoyed his chicken as well - it was tender and juicy, good char on the pineapple too. The portions were huge and we didn't eat it all. Good thing we didn't, the chef gave us complimentary dessert (ice cream because we're gluten free)! It was our first time and we'd love to go back. Everything looked and sounded great. Good margarita options, the flight was ordered by the table next to us! The overall cost for us two, although not the worst, but definitely not a cheap brunch was $110 with tip. Hot sauce was $2.50 on the side. A nice treat with friendly staff and good food, but not if you're looking to save some money.

Other subsequent customers had to wait as well. The place is very dark inside with the theme of a jungle of plastic plants hanging overhead. There appeared to be a few real plants, but it was too dark to confirm that. The food is tasty, but overpriced for what you get. We had the feeling the money is being spent on the decor or the lease on the building rather than the food. The potential is there for a better deal without the hype. It's a "been there done that " place for me.

When this place first opened, I thought it was an awesome addition to the West Mobile area. I ate…read morehere several times a month because of the quality and price point. What I loved about this restaurant was that it was a more authentic Taco Mama. The portions were awesome, the flavors were phenomenal, and it was so customizable. You could build your own burrito, nachos, or tacos, with whatever protein or toppings, for one price. I liked the variation of meats available. From what I can remember, they offered fried and grilled shrimp, fish, grilled chicken, etc. Lastly, they had a SALSA BAR, similar to Moe's, but better! They had a wide range of unlimited salsas and sauces to go on your entree. Because of these options, this place was my favorite Mexican restaurant in the city. Now, however, my opinion has changed for the worse. Imagine my disappointment when I came to this restaurant this week, and learned that they now function like a regular, smegular Mexican restaurant where the host has to seat you at a table, you get a tiny portion of salsa and chips, and have to choose from preselected menu options such as a boring plate of nachos for $20 that you have to pay extra for if you want it "deluxe"... it's absolutely ridiculous. There are enough Mexican restaurants in Mobile that offer that. What I liked about this place was that it was a different concept, and allowed you to have your meal YOUR way. If costs were the issue, I would've been ok with the price increasing to keep the menu the same. Now that this functions as a regular Mexican restaurant, why would I choose it over the others??? The good things I can say about this place, is that the food is not as flavorful, but still good, the wait staff is pleasant, and the ambiance is pretty cool. But I probably won't be returning if they don't ho back to the previous concept.

FLAVORFUL. Large portions! The chicken was actually JUICY and not overcooked/dry like some other places. The workers are all so polite. And I love the salsa bar! (Tried the avocado, verde and chipotle salsa) The ONLY thing I wish this place had was a drink dispenser station with aguas frescas instead of the usual soda fountain. But even still it was a great experience. We absolutely will be back! Note: you order at the front and pay for your meal, get a number and then take it to you table. The servers will then deliver the goods

It's been hiding in plain sight to me. Anyway I wanted to try some Mexican food but the real kind and not the fake. I at first thought I wanted some tacos but I ultimately settled on quesadillas. The reason I picked quesadillas over tacos was mainly because quesadillas came with rice and beans. It was that simple. I ordered my meal online and decided to head over to the restaurant. I got there earlier than what the estimated time in my email said my food would be ready. The place was pretty close to packed. I realized the store was more than a restaurant because it displayed cuts of meat in the glass counter. I saw a family with children with popsicles that the parents had purchased along with the meal. When I moved further in the store I was approached by a employee and I told them I made an online order. She went back in the kitchen and came back with my food after a short wait. When I got back home, I couldn't wait to eat. There was a plate for salad and a plate for the quesadilla with the rice and beans. I mixed up the salad with the rice and beans. I don't eat Mexican food a lot so I'm not sure if that's how it's done but that's how I did it. I enjoyed it. Next I tried the carne asada quesadilla. This was like no quesadilla I had before. I say this knowing all quesadillas basically consist of the same thing: dough, meat, and cheese. This quesadilla was on another level because each of those ingredients were much better than what I've experienced before. The cheese was really the star of the quesadilla. It was so rich. I really loved this quesadilla. It was the best one I've ever had in life. Before I forget I want to mention I bought a Mexican Coca Cola with my meal. I could taste the difference from regular Coke but I can't exactly describe it. I loved it though. I really want to come back here and try more items on the menu.
