This review is for the business side of this practice, not the medical side. If you are uninsured, DO NOT trust this business. They will overcharge you, make it impossible to get help, then tell you they don't have the power to correct their own mistakes. I have had three appointments with this group (at the Murchison location, for what it's worth) and ALL three were billed incorrectly, adding hundreds to my bill. I have been trying to get these charges adjusted since FEBRUARY and every time I call my doctor's office they say there is nothing they can do. Really? Nothing they can do to fix mistakes they made?? The first mistake was failure to consistently apply a discount. The second two mistakes were outright billed for things that never happened or more expensive versions of the care that was actually delivered. I ended up researching the correct codes and submitting them to billing because their own people were so incompetent. I've tried using the online bill pay portal to contact them because they promise a response in two business days. Never heard back from them! I am consistently directed to call the billing department at Lee Trevino who never ever answers, or to call an office in San Antonio who just directs me back to the practice. I've tried calling at different days and at different times. I drove to the office to speak to someone in person and was told I needed an appointment. How am I supposed to make an appointment if they don't answer phone or email? The receptionist wouldn't let me speak to the billing manager but let me pass on a sticky note full of my corrections. Only some of them were corrected and I haven't been able to speak to anyone since then. I am a self-pay patient, so maybe you get better treatment if you are insured because at least the insurance will fight for you. I ended up skipping the remaining care I needed because I couldn't afford to pay for any more of their made up charges. read more

Called 2x, just to make an initial appointment, and was placed on hold both times, 6 minutes and 8 minutes, and no one ever picked up the phone. I am not impressed. read more

My follow-up visit proved extremely beneficial--again! All of the staff, PAs, scribes, medical assistants/techs and, of course, the doctors (specifically Dr. Urrea) are very courteous & professional. If you want your joints fixed rights, go to the best fixers uppers, like the personnel here! read more

Dr. Ghiselli has been treating my family and I for orthopedic issues for years. He is an amazing physician and I highly recommend him. My issue with this group lies not with him, but the incredibly long wait times. If you want to call to make an appointment, good luck. It's better to go in and person and make one because the wait time is VERY LONG. I've gotten lucky once and only had to wait about 30 minutes when calling to make an appointment. Also, the wait time at the clinic is usually quite long. I recommend going to the Murchison clinic. I had better luck with that one and only waited about 10-15 minutes before seeing the Dr. read more

I wish I had read reviews before ever deciding to book an appointment. My complaint is like all the others, I was on hold for 45 mins. I had an appointment at 9 and was seen 2 hours later. For a person with major anxiety issues and absolutely no patients I do not recommend this facility for even a normal person. I will however say that once I saw the doctor I was highly satisfied with him. read more

This place is a joke. I was in an MVA and went here to figure out what was wrong with my elbow. Friends told me to come here so I did, boy, let me tell you, it was the worst piece of advice I've ever received. I was told on the phone that wait would be an hour but once I showed up I was told more like 3-4 hours. I had just had x-rays done a day before but the dr refused to see them because he said they wouldn't be good enough. The x-rays from my second ER visit were exactly the same as the ones he forced me to take. After spending all morning waiting to be seen the dr came in (can't remember his name, but he has facial hair, wears bow ties and loves to throw it in your face about how much a good catholic he is) and squeezed my elbow, told me to keep it above my head and that my elbow would heal all by itself in two weeks. Shook my hand and walked out. I'm not a dr but I have been in the medical field for years so I can tell you wholeheartedly that this was the biggest load of BS I have ever experienced. I went to Dr Cruz at Texas Tech Orthopedic and he actually performed medical evaluations and found out that I have torn ligaments in my elbow. read more

Usually you are in and out of here pretty quickly, but you can't count on it. Give yourself two hours, at least. They SAY they take walk ins but when I walked in they said "we take walk ins if we have room" DUH. Then don't say you take walk-ins. Say you should call to make sure there is availability. When I walked-in I was there for five hours. Just make an appointment! Doctors are great. You do see employees standing around and laughing, gossiping a lot, or looking at their phones, but it seems like they are waiting on doctors. read more

Wow! I was in shock how huge this place was. It was was kind of funny how inpersonal this place felt. Felt like I was at the food stamp office applying for benefits or at the DMV. Staff come out and yell out loud your name but its so noisy there you cant here it. They need a better way of calling us into the examining rooms. Once you walk in there are tons of examing rooms down so many hall ways. read more

Meat market. Assembly line medicine. You would think with the column of people they move through here they could cut back at least a little on price. Like most big medical groups appointment times mean nothing. Show up and wait till they get around to you. read more

My daughter saw the doc and he referred us back to another physician that had previously seen my daughter. Makes sense considering patient care. I wasn't aware that I would need a referral for the second doctor, so I went back and asked the front desk if I could have one. Nope. Too much time had passed and I was told that they didn't refer me in the first place?! Seemed to me that they wanted my daughter to be seen again for the referral, talk about money-grubbing. Not to mention the 45 dollar fee for any forms needing to be filled out. Thing is, I'm sure the doctor himself would have gladly filled out the referral, it's just getting past all the clerks is what causes the problems. I'm sorry, but I just can't recommend this place for anyone. read more

Wow! Super heavy traffic all day! Busy busy busy! I like the epad check in, but older folk hate it(my parentals). Appmnt was at 10 am...got in and out fairly quick, considering my niece was here to get a cast. Place.REALLY is HUGE! Feels like a warehouse. But once inside, staff is like ant colony, non STOP! Beware of water fountain in rear lobby, it literally shoots up about three feet in air!! U WILL GET SOAKED! read more

Very busy place lots of people but it's a very structured process. Been here since 8 am and will probably be here till 10:30. Nice staff no complaints just arrive with some patients and expect at least a 2 hour visit. read more

Had to see a new doctor after having knee surgery, didn't get phy therapy yet as I am going thru the VA. Had knee pain and had to see another physician, Dr Urrea. Great doctor, listened to my complaint and is taking care of me. Staff was very helpful. read more

This place is HOORIBLE!!!! I waited 3.5 hours to see the Dr. for 10 mins!!!! I also waited 30 mins when i called to make an appt!! Every single time i have been there or tried calling for ANY of the doctors has been a pain and have had to wait hours upon hours!! read more
