I can honestly say, even though he isn't as well known as some of the other cosmetic surgeons in El Paso, I do not regret coming to him at all. He is extremely friendly, and will awnser any and all questions you may have, no problem. I can't honestly say a bad thing about him. In only 5 days post op, but thus far everything he has said was completely accurate. He has more experience than any other doctor in EP, and it shows. His office staff is a bit quiet, not as outgoing, but he makes up for it. After the procedure in case I had any concerns he gave me his home phone number just In case I had a question about anything outside of normal hours. Bottom line is this. I did have a surgical complication which arose while I was doing rehab in Dallas. (I am a widow, and my only daughter lives in Dallas.) Dr. Alost had a bed ready and waiting for me when I flew into El Paso, turned the situation around, saving me at least 3 months in bed. I am walking today because of him. When the time comes for my other hip, I know exactly where I'm going. He's fabulous. BTW, I am morbidly obese, which ruled me out with every other surgeon I tried, but Dr. Alost was willing to take a chance with me. If you are obese and in pain, don't give up! Go see him!

I had a car accident approximately two years ago and worked with a horrible law firm that I hired right after I was "bird dogged" which is just like ambulance chasing. Unlawful, but because the event had just happened I just accepted their services. They knew that two years on a case was the maximum time frame I could go on this claim even though I had referrals to two specialists that I was never able to see. The first an orthopedic surgeon who agreed that I required surgery on my right knee. I could never get "permission" to get this done, and according to the Injury Specialist this exacerbated my back issues and has now caused a left knee issue due to compensation of the skeletal and muscle structure. The second referral never happened. I finally made contact with this ambulance chasing lawyer's office and they informed me that Denise from this office called them telling them that I have not been compliant with their treatments. Not true at all. They were being scheduled so frequently I was having issues getting off work for them. Please remember that this accident happened approximately two years ago. Denise of this office supposedly followed up with referrals but I never received any correspondence to unanswered questions. I recently requested a call back from her but have yet to hear from her, this was just this Monday. She apparently contacted the "attorney" and told them to settle the case. Again, this all goes against what the MRI's show, that there is damage to my knee and back. Very disappointed as I'd originally given this office a very high review. Hindsight.

The receptionists are very busy and are not allowed to discuss much. "I have to ask the supervisor " ect. Makes them seem unfriendly, but that is a management decision. This could be said for the demands put on the doctors too. You can tell the owners put pressure on doctors to see so many patients an hour.I'm already a patient, arrived on time, checked in and only waited 8 minutes To get in the back. Everything was fast after that, I really like Dr. Edinburgh. She is so knowledgeable and does care about me. Even when we were saying goodbye, she did stop at the door, to answer 3 questions I had thought of before leaving. I need another study, but will take 2 months before they can schedule me. Perhaps they need to stop taking new patients until they have time to breathe. There will always be patients when the time comes. Now last review: The office is packed and needs a day time cleaning person on staff. The nurse assistants even have to mop floors in the back bathrooms where samples are taken. They should be able to call for help before they are needed. Anywhere where old people are there will be mishaps. Well, I hope I addressed everything . This is my experience.

I've been left with a disgusting pointy part of my skin on the scars and both sides of my breasts have a weird overlap now that I have to fight bras with. They are also no longer symmetrical which they used to be perfectly before the surgery. My back does feel better yes, but I can no longer be as careless with my clothing options for my upper body. Extremely disappointed and I am now seeking elsewhere to see if I can get this lasered off. :(

The ER doctor took a video of my sons hand and sent it to an Ortho doctor, Dr. Kathleen Robertson. She told the ER doctor that my son needed surgery immediately due to the severity of the cut and him being unable to move his fingers. She said to have him transported to the hospital and she would do the surgery when he arrived. I didn't have time to research an orthopedic surgeon and I was so scared that whoever did the surgery would mess something up and my son wouldn't have function in his hand. My son is an ice hockey goalie so having use of his hand is crucial. When we arrived at the hospital and met Dr. Robertson she was this amazing person. So down to earth and comforting. Before she took my son to surgery she said she wanted to say a prayer together. Dr. Robertson, my son, myself, 2 nurses and the anesthesiologist all held hands while she said a prayer. I had this feeling come over me, both more anxious but comfort at the same time. My son was truly blessed to have Dr. Robertson as his surgeon. She saved his hand. He has full range of motion and is able to do everything again that he could before the accident. Had she not have responded so quick to the ER doctor my son more than likely would not have had such an amazing outcome. During all of my sons follow-up appointments she never rushed us. She always explained everything completely, just like before and after his surgery, and she answered all the questions we had, as well as encouraged my son by being so optomistic. She spoke with him since he was the patient but would also speak with me, his mom. Most surgeons just want to do a surgery and move on but Dr. Robertson is not one of those. Besides being an amazing surgeon she is an amazing person. She is compassionate and truly cares about what she does and her patients. She always made my son feel like he mattered. Even though he was 13 (10 days after surgery he turned 14) she spoke to him professionally but used terminology he would understand. And she thoroughly explained what she was telling him. She always greeted my son, as well as myself. After the surgery, she also acknowledged and greeted my mom who was waiting with me during the surgery. When my son had follow-up appointments she asked how we were doing, including my mom. She remembers everything that occured in previous appointments. When my son was going through Occupational Therapy, she was constantly in touch with Noah, my sons OT. She stayed on top of his treatment and progress. She is truly one in a million. My son, as well as myself, adore her and will forever be grateful to her.
