I'm very honored and by far id give her a merit for her dedicated services in helping combat veterans like myself Battle the war on my brain cancer. During the start of my brain cancer Dr han has significantly showed what loyalty, professionalism at it highest care treatment to provide top notch treatment planning to beat the Battle of brain cancer 1 year later with her by my side on the battlefield we defeated the war on brain cancer. Through pain and fatigue from treatment she provided compassion and a heart to keep myself from never giving up til the fight is over. I and my family are so honored to have thee best Texas oncologist on our side. Established in 2004.

Dr. Stephanie Han earned her medical degree from the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at University of Buffalo. She then completed residency at the prestigious Yale-New Haven Hospital of Yale School of Medicine. She brings more than 18 years of clinical experience in treating breast, gastrointestinal, prostate, head & neck, hematologic and gynecological malignancies. Prior to moving to El Paso, Dr. Han was medical director of radiation oncology department at Kettering Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. She was also an assistant professor at NYU Medical Center in New York City and helped build the new cancer Center of Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. While in New York, she worked directly with Dr. Patrick Borgen, a world-renowned breast surgeon, who later became the chairman of Maimonides Medical Center. She has extensive training and experiences in GammaKnife Stereotactic Radiosurgery as well as in Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT).

She has been instrumental in bringing in the latest technology in radiation therapy to El Paso, TrueBeam linear accelerator, which will be operational in mid April, 2019. Dr. Han is an elective member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and is a member of the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology. Outside of work, she enjoys fashion, travel, and fine cuisine. She is an avid supporter of the El Paso Symphony Orchestra.

New patients can be directed to UMC, Texas Tech and WBAMC which have the staff and resources to attend to a large population of cancer patients. When Dr. Reese founded Texas Oncology; the current mediocre standing of Texas Oncology is not what he envisioned for cancer patients.

After my boyfriend had his eye exam done here, I decided it was time for some new contacts and glasses so I set up an appointment. They were able to get me in within two weeks and at a time that worked for me. To speed up the process they also gave me the paperwork when scheduling my appointment and told me I could just bring it with when I came back. Efficiency. Everyone that I interacted with was friendly and cheerful. I even appreciated that the doctor didn't try to confuse me in any way and actually set straight a lot of misinformation I was given by my previous doctor/salesperson. You know the best part... the glaucoma machine. You know the machine that blows air into your eyes to test the pressure? At the previous optometrist, I'd always "fail" the test and then I'd have to go through the process of having my eyes dilated which always sucks because driving after is the worst. FBOC's glaucoma machine was actually able to give a real reading because it was a quick push of air instead of the long shot of air that was always forced my eyes to shut. No dilation, YAY! Pretty smooth process and from start to finish was maybe an hour of my time. The staff is great. And I felt like they really went the extra mile with everything... the doctor even decided it was best to do a follow up appointment since there was some uncertainty with my contacts. I paid out of pocket and felt that the price for a contact and glasses prescription was reasonable at $129 (and that included the trial pair of contact lenses).
