In return for payinf more he will visit with you for 30 minutes during physicals and not the 3-5 minutes I used to get with other doctors who had to intake a large volume to make it profitable for them. If you go here you will truly get the best complete care with a well balanced approach. However, DO expect to pay more. If you want Dr Sherman to treat you he will require you to get an annual physical and it will cost you about $300-$500 with insurance. The best medicine is preventive medicine. It truly is. But again you will pay what your insurance does not cover. I have never been to a doctor that was more through with a check-up. You will truly get every cavity of your body checked. He will do the yearly OBGYN visit you normally get; here. Every time I get sick or my family gets sick we can call and get in. He will give you a shot if you need it instead of giving you weak medicine that will leave you sick for a week. He also is a firm believer in compound medicine. I have had medical issues go uncovered for years and after one complete physical with Dr. Sherman I had many of my long standing issues resolved. My Grandma who is in her 80's needed a major surgery that was unseen for years by other physicians. This surgery was vital to the longevity of her health. She is running around like a 60 year old. Please don't misunderstand. I get the medical establishment should be fair and equal I agree. But, it isn't. My health is very important to me and I am willing to pay extra for detailed medical care.

Appointments felt rushed, and questions or explanations about my condition were often met with judgment rather than discussion. As a patient, I believe collaboration is essential, yet any attempt to provide input or ask questions regarding my medications was dismissed. Treatment decisions were presented as final, with little regard for my lived experience or comfort level. What is most concerning is that I was dropped as a patient despite having a chronic condition that requires ongoing, consistent medical supervision. Terminating care without appropriate transition, support, or concern for continuity of treatment placed my health at risk. For a patient managing such condition gaps in care can have serious and potentially dangerous consequences. I expect medical professionals to provide care that is respectful, attentive, and patient-centered, especially when managing chronic conditions. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of that standard. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as no patient, particularly one with a chronic condition should feel dismissed, judged, or abandoned in their care.

Dr…read more Arroyave was my primary care doctor and was one of the most professional and caring doctors I have ever seen. She did a total review of my labs and did a complete physical. She indicated that my liver enzymes were elevated and instructed me to take a Vit E daily. Sure enough the next lab I had all my liver enzymes were normal range. I also have diabetic neuropathy and a prior physician had put me on Lyrica but it did not work very well and made me feel strange. I read an article from Dana Fabre Cancer Center and a suggestion was to try Alpha Lipoic Acid and Vit B6, I gave a copy to Dr. Arroyave and she approved that I try it, within 2 weeks I could walk again without any foot pain. The importance here is that Dr. Arroyave listens to her patients and collaborates as appropriate. Unfortunately, Dr. Arroyave left the practice and I had to find another MD. Dr. Arroyave is now practicing again and I recommend her as your primary physician.
