Super authentic, very welcoming and nice! Wish the place was bigger but hoping in the future that can happen 10/10!

Tipico Salvadoreno - Pork/chicharron had a bad after taste like it was old. Again, another greasy part of the dish. Did not even finish after trying.

First I'll say I'm Latino. I love Colombian food, Puerto Rican food, Dominican food, Venezuelan…read morefood, Cuban food etc etc. This place is so bad. I don't know how it has two 5 stars reviews as of this posting. The place is small and not a great ambiance for a nice dinner. It was hot as hell in there and over run with kids that looked like family the day we ordered. They were behind the register, in the common area & at tables. The price was insane for typical Latin dishes that were greasy, salty, and very unsatisfying. Most went in the trash. The rice was bland with vegetables resembling fried rice from a Chinese restaurant. It was so moist and greasy, the pork/chicharron had a strange aftertaste like it was old. The beans were ok but still needed flavor. Plantains were cut thin and not sweat like the typical ripe plantain. The skirt steak was edible and actually had decent flavor. The pupusa was artery clogging and I regret eating even half of one. A kid took the order & cooked some of the meal. He left out a few items from the order. Luckily I asked because when he said we were all set, I knew something was def missing. Had to wait another 15-20 mins more. I already spent about 30 minutes which turned to 45 mins total) waiting for take out with an empty store. That's insane...I'd steer far away if you want Spanish food that's done on a much higher level and won't break the bank. Don't say you weren't warned if decide to try this place. Highly recommend Casa de Lala who is currently relocating in Walpole. That's the best you will get with fresh, high quality Spanish food.
