There are 2 areas to sit so I recommend the inner room since it gets cold when the door is opened on a wintry day. Food didn't take long, it was fresh & hot. This is one of the few places I know in the area that serves Fresca de Jamaica - a little on the sweet side for my taste but you could definitely taste the hibiscus and once the ice melted, it helped reduce the sweetness. Don't let the menu fool you, you can still order the "Lunch" items at dinner time. My fave is now Montanero that has a little bit of everything I like - chicharron, fried egg, bistec, fried plantains, rice, beans, salad. If you like spicy, make sure you get the housemade green salsa!

This is the kind of authentic Mexican spot where you can tell everything is made fresh, in-house, and with a whole lot of TLC. Most of the staff spoke primarily Spanish, but ordering was still a breeze, and the ladies working were incredibly kind and welcoming. The space itself is tiny, just a few bar seats against the wall and a handful of small tables, so it's definitely more of a grab-and-go kind of place. The burrito was hearty and packed with fillings. Nothing flashy, just a really solid, satisfying burrito that hit the spot. But the real MVP? The cheese and jalapeño pupusa. Holy melted goodness. It was cheesy, perfectly grilled on the outside, had just the right kick from the jalapeños, and had us wondering why we didn't order five more. If loving that pupusa is wrong, I don't want to be right!! The steak quesadilla was another winner... tender steak in every bite with plenty of cheese, and the mild green salsa absolutely stole the show. One bite and I was on a one-way trip to Flavor Town. Give me that stuff by the bottle! This place proves you don't need a fancy dining room to serve incredible food. Authentic flavors, warm hospitality, and dishes made with care. 10/10! I'll absolutely be back, and next time I'm ordering extra pupusas (and maybe just them lol)!

They're served with a cabbage slaw, tomato sauce and some spicy pickled jalapeños and carrots. The slaw gives it a nice crunch and the tomato sauce is nice and sweet to counter the saltiness of the cheese. My favorite is probably the loroco, which reminds me of broccoli and cheese but different. The corn dough outside is nicely charred but soft on the inside. It's not dry at all, even with the chicken filling. I paid 6 bucks for all of that. I probably will definitely order take out again. It was very fast and the girl spoke fluent English.
