Pupusa? Black beans and a green sauce.

Went in today for the first time and ordered the Carne Asada meal. It comes with a lovely piece of steak that they were able to cook medium Rare for me even though it was very thin - there was yellow rice and a large salad plus black beans, a green sauce and it two pupusa's as well. Such a large amount of food for $15 with tax. I have tried the steak and rice- both excellent! I will definitely be back! And I went back today and had the steak quesadilla. Slightly over salty for but very tasty too.

I popped in here for the first time last night. I don't get out to Framingham that often. But now every time I'm in the area I'll probably swing by Guanachapis. The steak was nice and so was the shrimp, I ended up getting takeout to bring home. The Motanero and the tacos were incredible. Highly recommend.

The pupusas were good- I got frijol y queso. Lacking a little flavor idk if it was the curtido or the actual masa that need more flavor.

Delicious Central American style burritos, with many other reasonably priced platters and sandwiches - glad you are in Framingham

Delivered quickly and so so good, not overly salty - a big flaw in too many Mex/Salvadoran restaurants.

Staff were always friendly and accommodating each time we visited. Mostly, we have focused on Fajitas or Giant Burritos, and both were delicious on multiple tries. It's kind of reminiscent of places I have actually been in Mexico, so to me, that's a plus as well. Lastly, it really doesn't break the bank either.

After plans for sushi fell through, a close friend and I decided to go here for dinner. I tried the Tacos Al Pastor and, of course, that lovely rice milk beverage. With the Tacos Al Pastor, these were very good, but just a little shy of perfection for my taste. I like that they seemed very traditional and authentic. Comprising them were protein, onion, cilantro, and a sauce. Everything was well-balanced. The onion and cilantro were not overdone at all and made themselves known without turning a taco into a taco salad. The sauce added flavor but was not overpowering. Where the taco comes short has to deal with the protein. While flavorful, I found it heavier on the acidic and salty side than I prefer. I was also unable to pick up on any pineapple notes that one usually finds in Al Pastor-style meat. I am not sure if this is a result of the meat, the sauce, or my own ignorance as to what makes a real Al Pastor. When it comes to the Horchata, this one was divine. It was not too sweet, and the flavors of rice, cinnamon, and vanilla (I believe), all came together in beautiful, rich harmony. Thanks to The Aztec Restaurant and, of course, my friend, this is now a beverage I will seek out every time I'm at a Mexican restaurant, and the bar has been set high! Finally, the location was cute, and the service was friendly and speedy. Alas, The Aztec Restaurant is a little out-of-the-way for me, so I wouldn't be able to go there very often. However, I will credit them for being a wonderful alternative to the sushi that fell through, even though the categories are different. Was I a little bit closer, I do see myself coming here on occasion.

They're served with a cabbage slaw, tomato sauce and some spicy pickled jalapeños and carrots. The slaw gives it a nice crunch and the tomato sauce is nice and sweet to counter the saltiness of the cheese. My favorite is probably the loroco, which reminds me of broccoli and cheese but different. The corn dough outside is nicely charred but soft on the inside. It's not dry at all, even with the chicken filling. I paid 6 bucks for all of that. I probably will definitely order take out again. It was very fast and the girl spoke fluent English. The prices on the steak plates seem reasonable so I may try that the next time. The decor is sort of sad but the food is bomb.

I have to tell you it was delicious and for 9 bucks it could feed two, but I found myself eating the entire plate. Top it off with a nice passion fruit fresh juice and this was a great meal.
