I ordered to go. I was craving some good broth with meat and vegetables, so I proceeded to order a menudo expecting "the best in town" and SURPRISE it was the WORSE THING I ever tasted before! Sooo watery flavorless at all and besides that no condiments anywhere, I had to buy my own chopping cilantro, onions and lemon by my home! Then I also ordered a fry fish for my daughter and it was the same sooo flavorless the fish and the rest in the order! Service soo slow and ignoring you when you asked for your order! I was expecting something else just to enjoy at home but obviously that didn't happen. I don't recommend at this point at all!

Service was friendly, excellent, professional, fast but not hurrying customers. Bilingual. Pleasant clean new restaurant! Wow the food was good. Carne asada, perfect. I hope to return someday!

Excellent fish tacos, salsas, and warm chips. Great friendly customer service with an uplifting vibe. Beautiful and clean decor.

Macho burrito

I don't live in Ukiah but frequent the area. This was the first time eating at this restaurant at this location or the former location near the airport for that matter . Service was great and had a chill ambiance. The menu was broad enough to appeal to anything you might be hankering for. I attached pics of the menu for you to look at. I loved the trio of "dipping " sauces for the house tortilla chips; verde, a spicy tomato salsa, and a a warm bean dip which I don t know if I've ever had before. All good stuff. I had the Macho burrito with carne asada and grilled jalapeño. Delicious and definitely two meals for me ( I can't eat as much I used to). Partner had a ceviche tostado. Looked plentiful too and she ate the whole damn thing. Wow Anyway, main point is that I recommend this restaurant and will be back for sure. Check it out yourself. You'll say the same.

Food, service, friendliness and an amazing Mexican mariachi band who even played Bach's Jesu Joy of Man's Desire with a Mexican speed flare . I really enjoyed my experience and was treated very well. Service is spot on and deserves 5 stars! Food was fresh and tasty with great flavor. I'll be back!

SOOO GLAD I found this place. It is legit!! We ordered 2 carne asada burritos with everything to go!! So dang good!!! So authentic! The rice, The beans. The asada and everything else!! Yumm!! So good for my weary soul. The homemade flour tortillas reminded me of growing up in central California. I have been craving one ever since. This place did not disappoint! My one gripe is they only give you one side of salsa for your GINORMOUS BURRITO!! Which is probably enough for a normal Person BUT...This salsa roja is FIRE!!! Fantastic flavor with a solid kick!! Hunky hubster and I love heat so for us it was perfect and we were wanting MORE!! Hubs finished his whole burrito but I could only do 1/4 to 1/3 it was so packed full of goodness!! Everyone was helpful and friendly from the employees in the market to the servers/ cooks outside. Was great to watch them make the tortillas while you wait. 5/5 with no complaints only ravings and a deep abiding sadness that it is 8.5 hours (on a good day) away from home. We travel this way once a year to visit my Mother in Love in Brookings for her bday. I will be looking forward to next July when I can have my old school Mexican food longings fulfilled!! If you are bougie don't bother. But if you love the non fancy down to earth road side Mexican food with no flairs or fusion BS, it's definitely worth the time. $30 for 2 Carne Asada burritos LOADED WITH EVERYTHING!! Worth every penny and for me, more than enough to share! Again... if you like heat ask for extra salsa!!

But, hey, they have a salsa bar that doesn't look like it's cleaned out very often, so that's probably why the food was expensive. One salsa, the red salsa, was horrible. I think someone dropped some Fabuloso in it or something. The rest of the salsas were watery and terrible. They did give us chips (a little stale) to wait for the food. We waited about 20 minutes for the food to get to us, and there were only 2 people other than us in the restaurant. The torta was terrible. It had absolutely no flavor. And I'm hazarding a guess that the meat was previously prepared, then microwaved. The burrito was less better, with the red sauce tasting like someone had run out of red sauce, then added a bunch of water to make more red sauce, then drenched the burrito in it. No flavor. The coke and the jarrito were good. As an extra, my son got sick from the burrito later. So there's that. No, not coming back.

We noticed it's counter service, so we took our time reading their menu on the wall before ordering at the register. I ordered their veggie burrito and my friend got the two piece combo plate with a cheese enchilada and a shredded chicken flauta. We also got two jamacia's and some chips and salsa. Food came out pretty quickly. As for the portions, they were a good size for the price. My veggie burrito was ok, not out of this world, but not the worst. The cheese enchilada was really good, great red sauce and it had a nice little crunch. My friend really enjoyed the rest of her combo plate. Overall, we enjoyed our visit. The restaurant was still open and serving food. Obviously, employees want to get home early. But doing a major sanitizing wash of the restaurant while customers are in this restaurant eating, especially with strong smelling chemicals, is unprofessional. Important: I am not hypersensitive to smells. The chemicals they use to clean the floor or strong smelling and splashed onto the floor two feet away from where I was sitting.
