I really wanted to like this place based on an extremely high recommendation. Unfortunately, the…read morefood and service didn't quite meet the expecations it was hyped up to be. I vascilated between 3 and 4 stars, so I'll instead provide a breakdown: Menu: 5 stars. The menus are easy to read, detailed, and organized. The menus aren't your standard laminated menus. They have a thick, very pretty, sturdy cover. They provide the prices for different meat options. I appreciate that many menu items can be or are gluten free. Ambience: 5 stars. I am a total sucker for supporting small, privately owned businesses! Bonus points for being immigrant/POC/Black-owned business! The restaurant was small but still with a good amount of wiggle room for dining in. Everything was clean and somewhat modern for what was described to me as "a hole in the wall" (in a good way), as I was expecting it to be a little dated and dingy. It wasn't. It was bright, cool, and airy. Service: 3-stars. service was mid. Our server didn't seem overly-excited to be there. He communicated well, but with very little friendliness or enthusiasm. I'd say, at best, his demeanor was neutral, and I can live with that, considering I've encountered a lot of times where people in the service industry act like they don't appreciate your business and are doing you a favor just by taking your order, smh. Food: 3.5 stars. Presentation was beautiful! Very well-done! Unfortunately, I found my tres moles enchiladas lacking that "pow" in taste that I love about mole. I also love my enchiladas drowned in mole sauce, especially eating with chicken breast, which can be a very mild/bland and dry meat. The chicken itself wasn't necessarily dry, but because it was chicken breast, and the feel of the dish was on the dry side. That being said, my fellow diners LOVED their dishes and said they'd come back again! Unfortunately, they don't provide reviews on Yelp, so I invite you to take my review as a grain of salt and try this restaurant out for yourself.

I have been to the Sun Press a few times, and for an affordable price of about 13 or 14 bucks, I can get a cuban sandwich that leaves me stuffed and not hungry again for hours. I got the classic cuban cuban, with the pork, ham, pickles, and mustard, and it was packed with flavor, it was delicious! Didn't need to get a side dish or anything, and I'm not a small guy. I recommend this place to my friends and family!

The restaurant is small but there are a couple tables to sit down. The store was decorated in such a cute way with plenty of plants, artwork, and bright colors. You felt happy just being there! You order at the counter and the man who took our order was very friendly. Following her recommendation I got the Dominical burrito with chicken tinga. She order the same thing but tried the mojo pork. She also order the fresh juice of the day, which was pineapple. The food came out within ten minutes with a nice presentation and very hot. I loved my burrito! The chicken tinga had a little kick to it, that added a nice flavor but was not overwhelming at all. The rest of the burrito was also very fresh and delicious! Many restaurants that have you order at the counter do not continue to wait on you, but here the workers were attentive in taking our dishes and giving us napkins without us asking. I definitely recommend giving SunPress a try if you are in the area! I cannot wait to come back for more of their menu!

It is a very small restaurant. They have tables where you can sit and one of the servers comes from behind the counter to take your order and get you your food. They are all very friendly. Be prepared for the loud music. For some this might be a problem. But for me, it put me in the mood to dance in my seat and enjoy my food even more. They have a very extensive menu. Most of the menu is Mexican street food. I appreciate that they do some mingle of Mexican American items. But I tried to stick to what's authentic. The times that I have visit I have had the street corn Loco style and quesadilla with chorizo and potatoes and I have had several different flavors of taco. You cannot go wrong. The food is flavorful and well prepared. If you decide to eat there, be sure to find parking somewhere in the neighborhood and do the parking app. It is hard to find parking but usually somewhere up or down the street you can find a spot. If you do take out, there is a laundromat across the street with a parking lot. Park at your own risk. When I did take away, it took about 20 minutes for my food to be prepared. When I sat and ate I lingered a while and was there for about an hour and a half. I love the flavors of the food and you can tell that they really take time and effort to make it taste good. You can put their green salsa on anything and it would raise a flavor about 50%. All of their sauces are good but the green one is my favorite. I would definitely come back and it is convenient because the restaurant is right across the bridge in Camden so you don't have to go that far into New Jersey for a great bite.

The broth was rich, flavorful, and had that perfect comfort taste I've been missing. Also got lengua, tripa, and bistec tacos, and honestly, they were all amazing. The lengua was super tender, the tripa had that crispy bite, and the steak was juicy and perfectly seasoned. You can tell they know what they're doing in the kitchen, everything tasted fresh and homemade. Loved every bite.
