Went here for lunch on a weekday.. few tables were occupied. Food was ok - little bland.. service was good but very quick.

Came here with a group of friends last night and we were not disappointed. All around delicious food prepared fresh and served hot. Service was very good. Waiter was attentive. The tacos dorados had so much flavor. We were absolutely stuffed when leaving. I'm also really digging the new decor. They must have bought new tables and chairs recently. It looks really great!!!

Free Margs! El Limon is a quality Mexican restaurant with a wide selection of menu options. They are a step up from fast causal and always seem to provide friendly service. As mentioned, feel free to ask for your free margarita when you order. For my latest trip, we got an al pastor sope, shrimp enchilladas, and a burrito. That was more than enough food for two. The enchilladas were stuffed with shrimp. They'll bring out your food with a food hot sauce options should you want to try. If you like, save room for dessert as they have a handful of good options to try.

They still provide complimentary margaritas Which is pretty nice We had tacos and burritos , always right choice Consistently Reasonable price and taste! Loved the mexican music played in the restaurant Loved atmosphere on nice sunny sunday late afternoon/early evening!

Tinga and chorizo burrito with chipotle sauce

This place is our goto burrito joint. It's quick, super affordable and always good. I typically get a two meat burrito (chicken tinga and chorizo) which is a great combination. Add there homemade chipotle sauce and it's fantastic. And did I mention free margaritas? They are pretty mild, but a nice addition to any meal. They also have both green and red sauce at your table. The green has great flavor without any burn. The red differs from time to time. Sometimes it has a bit of heat and other times it can be pretty much fire! So if you're hungry for a burrito, this is a great place to try.

Buyer beware when ordering online for delivery via their website. If they don't have a driver they won't spend the five seconds to call you and instead will let the food go cold and wait for you to check in on it. They'll let you know the driver isn't available tonight but you can come pick it up now that an hour has past since it's expected delivery time (90 min from order placed). They'll insist they don't have your phone number despite it being listed on email confirmation. Steer clear!

We had our ups and downs during the pandemic. Good to say that El Limon changed for the better. Don't forget to try their Tres Leches.

Being from Arizona, I eat quite a bit of Mexican food and do get some authentic eats since we are so close to Mexico. I was a little worried trying Mexican food in the east coast, but we were both really happy with the food we got here. The service was very friendly and the location was very clean. I appreciate the staff assisting with boxes as we definitely ordered more than we can eat as we wanted to try various items. It was great for leftovers and a midnight snack as I can get munchy at different times due to the time zone difference. I'd definitely return when visiting her and would recommend to anyone in the area if they want Mexican cuisine.

The one on the outside of the four was dry, but the other was good. If you don't like spicy, as I don't, avoid the peppers used for garnish. The refried beans were wetter than I expected, but I did like that some whole beans were stirred in. The bowl of street corn was my favorite bite of the meal. The texture of the guacamole was similar to the beans, with part of it wetter than expected, but also with chunks of tomato stirred in. I've never been fond of Mexican rice so can't comment on that.

Honestly, this surprised me at first but based on the limited seating available and the need to ensure success in such a difficult business I can appreciate it. Once you arrive it is a well kept and tastefully decorated two room restaurant with properly themed music playing at an enjoyable volume. Our server, Helena was very kind and extremely helpful guiding us through the unique options. Something that I noticed about Helena was her graceful interaction to remove and place things with care and patience. It stood out so much that I mentioned it to my wife. In today's constant hustle and bustle this was delightful. Now the food. Well, the flavors are very intentional and multi layered. The plating is purposeful and intriguing. And we loved everything. We started with some mock tails and will be bringing some tequila next time to add to them as it is a BYOB restaurant. The tuna ceviche special was outstanding in both its appearance and taste. The so many great flavors. The oyster mushrooms looked like they were actual oysters plucked from the sea. The light rice batter accompanied by a lemongrass sauce with a touch of cayenne at the end was very tasty. For main courses I had the sea bass with a miso broth and my wife had the short rib over risotto. The sea bass was probably one of the best cuts I have had and seared to perfection. I didn't let the delicious broth go to waste either. The short rib was also full of flavors and I immediately tasted cinnamon at the front. The risotto was good and plentiful. It was a great experience and a culinary delight with creative dishes that brought amazing flavors. I really enjoyed it.
