I was just in there, ordering some nachos to go and it seem like they had a big order that they were preparing, and the cook was extremely rude. It was my first time in, so I wasn't sure how the process was of ordering, and he seemed very annoyed with me asking questions and once he was done preparing my nachos, he was talking about me to one of his coworkers she let him know that I was looking, and I was aware, and he said in Spanish using bad words that he did not care. I speak Spanish so I understand everything. I understand that he could be frustrated because he has a big order to go, but there was two other people helping him now one person inside the restaurant so he could've definitely shown more of customer service. Went in one morning and the restaurant was spotless, all tables organized, and ready for the day. I had a coffee from next door but ordered a breakfast burrito that was phenomenal. I ordered a chorizo (beef as well!), egg, potato, and cheese breakfast burrito. The burrito was massive but not overwhelming, and the biggest thing is everything was fresh and made to order! For only $12, this was a great value and can be argued for almost two burrito with the size of what I received. I'm vegetarian. I ordered 2 street tacos that were listed as $3.19 each. My bill came out to almost $14 bucks. It's not about the money, but the principle. They told me they charge extra for black beans and cheese! I was polite and tried to explain that beans are protein and I should be able to substitute meat for beans and they told me beans aren't protein. Oh boy. I'd steer clear of the Chicken Taquitos. I've had them before and enjoyed them, but this last order all five of the taquitos in both orders I got had about 1 tsp of chicken on both ends of a roll filled with mashed potatoes. I didn't order potato taquitos, I ordered (and paid) for chicken. Sadly this type of nonsense from a restaurant is insulting to their customers. Shame on them. read more

The restaurant is very clean the staff is very friendly. The bacon breakfast burrito was tasty, but heavy with potatoes and light on bacon, it had a fair amount of cheese and the overall flavor was good. We dropped by for a quick dinner. I asked for a little help with the menu, since this was our first time. The gentle person behind the counter was very nice and offered us samples of their meats (which were generous). The Birria meat was very tasty. I had two tacos with this meat, and all the fixings that were available to me, including guacamole (no extra charge). I've been excited to try this place. Very disappointed. I ordered the salsa on the side, and they put the very cold salsa packs directly in the styrofoam container with the hot tacos. By the time I got the order, all the tacos were cold and awful tasting. Why would you put cold & hot together instead of putting the cold items in a different bag? The fish taco was in it's own container with no sauces and that was decent. Too much money for cold food that was easily preventable. Not only is this the equivalent of putting cold packs in with warm food, but they were just thrown on top of the uncovered food, thereby contaminating the tacos with any germs on those containers. On top of this, I just noticed this site has SEVEN health code violations. I guess that answers why separating hot & cold food isn't a priority. read more

Went to pick up a quick dinner recently and it's safe to say I won't be going back. The rice was very old, very dry and cold and so were the beans. The chicken was awful! There were bits and pieces in there that I'm not even sure what it was. I had also asked for cheese quesadilla. They had jammed all 4 pieces (pretty good since) into a very small container so by the time I got home they were all stuck together and turned into a big mush. I really want to love this place because the staff were amazing and kind. My order was messed up and they gladly fixed it. We got the fully loaded breakfast burrito and the bacon potato and egg burrito. Their bacon is more like chunky fatty ham and was not good at all, made it difficult to chew and there was such hard grizzly pieces. The chorizo was not spicy and neither was the salsa they said was habanero. There was so much grease it was not edible. Lost $36 on 3 burritos. I thought maybe we could try again without bacon since it was in everything and not good. However, just too much chaos in store and I'm not sure we want to go through it all again. I do hope they can pull it together because they are just the nicest crew. but I won't be returning. read more

I really like EJT and I order a couple of times a week. I buy the 1 pound meal family pack. I get a pound of meat, get enough of tortillas, sauce, and onion. It is basic yet very tasty. So far I haven't sold this with my words, but the real reason is the meat.
