We ordered pretty much the same thing as the first time with the addition of the Cheese Borek to try out. It had a great balance of salty cheese flavor to the crispy phyllo dough. It went well with the Fattoush Salad (that came with the Mixed Platter). We were 3 people this time and the Mixed Platter for 2 was plenty of food along with all the appetizers we got. The Iced Mint Lemonade could have a bit more mint and less sugar but I found it sweet and refreshing. Everything was fresh and delicious. Meat platters were so good. Mint lemonade was refreshing. The appetizer sampler is a must order. BYOB and they have a back patio area for hookah which is a great hang out spot. read more

Very tasty food! Had to circle the block to find parking but felt it was worth while. Fast service & quiet inside. We had the mixed platter for two & it was honestly enough for almost 3-4 people! Impressed with the amount you get for the price. Although everything was delicious, there was no sauce for anything except for some hot sauce. We did not like our pita bread grilled. We ordered hummus to share and I ordered the chicken shawarma platter and a mint lemonade. The reviews saying the hummus is smooth, almost buttery and delicious are spot on. The hummus has good flavor and tastes fresh. The chicken shawarma platter was also very good. Well seasoned and there were two sauces it came with (I used both). If I could give a less than one star I would! This place needs ALOT of improvement. My guest and I arrived on a random Wednesday evening. The place was empty. I'll give them this atleast it looked clean, (the one star was for cleanliness) The food was basic & overpriced I would give it a 2 out of 10 the waiter was AWFUL, RUDE & dismissive. New owners for real this time, not just changing names and still selling the crappy food they were serving, the food now is very very good, 100% better then the previous owners, they have a new menu with more items, I ordered the chicken shish kabob with brown Turkish rice, the chicken was seasoned just right and tender, very tasty, the Turkish brown was rice was delicious, it was the first time I tried it and loved it, also ordered some humus on the side, it was very fresh and creamy, can't give a bad review or complain, service was very good, definitely going back again, hopefully everything stays the same. The hummus was very good, the flafel was ok, the rest of the food was mediocre. The service was acceptable but not particularly good or friendly. The restaurant's decision to politicize dining was particularly unfortunate. A huge Palestinian flag covers one window and other posters highlighting the Arab-Israeli conflict added an unnecessary and unwanted element of politics. It's their restaurant and they can use it for politics if they want, but they're going to drive some customers away; I certainly won't be back. read more

I ordered Pachanga Borek as an appetizer to try something new, not bad though I don't think I'd get it again. For main I ordered the Mixed Grill so I could taste a variety of the kebabs/kofte. It looked delicious and was a fairly large quantity (good for a couple meals). The meat could be more tender but overall pretty good. It was served on top of some kind of rice/bulgar (not sure)--I'm generally not a rice person and this had a lot of it, but I actually liked the taste of it well enough. I also ordered Turkish pita but never got it--there was a brown bag with small broken up pieces of hard bread like the complimentary kind they give you at restaurants while you wait for your food but it was definitely not Turkish pita, so that was disappointing. I spoke to Nana who helped me come up with an order that would supply the needs of 30 people. I also spoke to Iyad who helped me up to the last detail, they even delivered to my doorstep for free. Service was impeccable. I wasn't sure what to expect with the food since the quantity was so large but everyone was raving about the food. It was absolutely delicious and we had so many leftovers.
