Honestly, I love lamb, but if you put a plate in front of me and then tell me what I was eating, I could not give you a description of what it was. The meat had no lamb flavor at all more of like a stewed meat. I unforced got a lot of connective tissue which I had to pick away at. The salsa they had available were very good as well as the handmade corn tortillas. I applaud this family for providing something different than the rest of the crowd. Something that was very different about this menudo was that is was entirely meat and broth/juice there was 0 sign of hominey which is something I've never seen before. They gave me spicy, mild, and queso ! They were all spot on. The food is set at a really good price. I ordered the fajita chicken chimichaunga with refried beans and rice. My chimichaunga was really good, it got soggy after awhile. Usually that doesn't happen to me. Next time I will get the shredded chicken instead. The taste was flavorful and it was cooked well. This restaurant has a very family friendly atmosphere that I loved. This will be my new spot when I'm craving Mexican food!
