I hired Ramiro on my neighbors recommendation, I had quite a mess of both live and dead brush & trees. One tree over 30 ft. tall and having a nice ground cover below it needed removing, Ramiro did not promise to save the ground cover due to the size of the tree and it being multi trunk, but most the ground cover was saved and they did remove the tree. The other 5 star reviews I read here are exact to my experience. I notice the same comments in all those reviews as well as my experience, so 5 stars is very reasonable. Top of the line equipment, and professional workers, and fast service, etc. Any professional service costs money but costs more if needed to be done twice. Thank You El Encino Tree service, I will call again. Greg Chick (Ramona's Plumber). read more

We asked them to lace and trim our 60' high Oak tree to make it more healthy and shape it as it was evergrown and too heavy. Also several rumps to grind. They showed up with many guys, and several trucks and high lift. Everything was professionally done and very efficient. They cleaned up very nicely and made the whole process stress free. Use them with confidence! read more

I have used them for both tree trimming and firewood for more than 8 years and I can't say enough good about them. Seriously incredible to work with and the quality of service and work is impeccable. read more

We had Ramiro and his crew come and trim trees for fire safety and tree health. Wow! I can't believe how great our property looks now. The trees are thinned and healthier and all The dead branches removed. They chipped the branches and swept and blew all the debris away. They managed to work a round all my landscaping with minimal damage to my plants on the ground. This is the second time I have had them work here, last time it was to removed dead trees from the bark beetle. I am always impressed with safety first and how clean they leave everything. We also buy fire wood from them and we use the mulch around our property. They haul it away as part of the price but we use the good stuff (without thorns) where we can. They sent a big crew and worked two full days for a reasonable price. Fair and good work. I'd hire them again and again. read more

I would give 10 stars if possible. The crew was working down the street and I asked for a quick estimate to remove four huge cypress trees that were a fire danger to our home. They gave us an estimate and offered to do the work immediately. Within a few hours the trees were gone, the mess was cleaned up, and we had a tidy stack of firewood. The crew was friendly and efficient. I wish I had used them before. I will be calling them again. read more

Great service. They beat all of our other estimates by thousands of dollars. We had 6 55ft Mexican Palm trees removed. He brought all the right equipment and plenty of helpers. Everybody wore the proper PPE and worked safe. I'm not easily impressed but let me just say..... I'm impressed. Top notch service. I'll be referring this company to everyone I know that needs tree trimming/ tree removal. read more

We had 13 trees removed, 23 stumps ground and 4 eucalyptus trees trimmed. Ramiro showed up with a crew and was done by 3:30. Our expectations were exceeded in every way. They left the property only after they completely cleaned up hauling away what we didn't want and leaving what we did. Ramiro has the best customer service of anyone. I would highly recommend. read more

Also known as El Encino Tree Service. Removed a very large downed tree and cleared part of my fire break. Great experience. Ramiro's crew was excellent, safe, fast, cleaned up the debris and did everything I asked for and a bit more. I'll hire them again. read more

Fifteen pine trees had died in our yard and were going to be a fire hazard. We had gotten two estimates for having them cut down and hauled off. This company was much cheaper and could get to the job quickly. Within 24 hours of us calling them, we got an estimate, set things up and our trees are gone and the yard looks great. All of the men that came out were hard workers. One of them spent most of his time up in the trees cutting from the top. Not a job for the faint of heart. I was getting nervous just watching him. Very nice people and a company that I would highly recommend. read more

Romero and his team are amazing. Very professional, employees neat and clean very polite, work is done with as little mess as possible, On time, sends enough workers to get the job done in a timely manner. Pricing was great beat every other bid. A friend referred him and he came out the same day. I had a huge pine tree and 2 smaller tress removed and he took them all the way down to the ground. I'd recommend him any time. He is Licensed, bonded and insured. read more

Ramiro and his crew did an outstanding job. His main goal is doing what the customer wants!!!

These guys just trimmed our Palms yesterday. They did an awesome job, cleaned up after themselves and were completely reasonable with the price tag. They are the best trimmers we've had yet! read more

Romero and his crew showed up in a timely fashion. Safety for all was top notch. All showed a high respect for my property, and his workers have the up most respect for the job they do. His pricing for a 65' pine tree and 2 Monterey Pines, definitely not over priced. I was impressed with the service he provided. -*LAF*- read more

Romero and his crew are amazing! They trimmed 13 trees, removed 4 dead trees, ground 4 stumps and hauled off a huuuuuuge pile of brush. All this in one day!! I didn't even ask him to but the trees he chopped down he cut up the trunks for us to use as firewood (I still have to split it). He brought all his best equipment out: commercial grade wood chipper, boom truck, two trucks for all the mulch and a professional tree trimmer. Romero is so nice, he took his hat off to shake my hand! Chivalry is not dead!! His prices are very reasonable too! I will definitely use him again in the future. Highly recommend read more

Have looked around other firewood places around Ramona, so far I like El Encino the best. They're courteous and have plenty of wood at a good price. I mainly burn oak and pinion. Last I checked, they still do Free delivery in Ramona. I've been buying wood from El Encino Firewood for over 5yrs. No complaints. read more

We called Romido on a recommendation from family to remove 3 eucalyptus trees & trim 2 other trees on our property. He was able to get us scheduled quickly, and had everything done, including clean up, in about 3 hours! His crew was very efficient & friendly & even hauled away some extra brush for us. They left my back porch cleaner than it was before they came. They did a great job trimming the 2 front trees as well. I am so glad we used this company, and highly recommend them. read more

Great price and a good mix of wood. Same day delivery. Very friendly, courteous family run business. The driver even navigated our narrow driveway to help get the wood as close to where we need it as possible. I'll be calling again next winter. read more

$360 delivered 1 cord of barely seasoned yet rotten and termite infested Red Oak. I received less than 1 cord about 3/4. The wood was mostly kindling size. The wood was infested with termites. It had gold spotted oak borer beetle. 1/4 of the wood was muddy and rotted from being on the bottom of their pile. read more

DO NOT USE this guy! We had arranged for him to deliver half a cord of wood to us last Sunday at 12 noon. At 1:20 pm when he hadn't yet shown up I called him. He said that his driver would be there in 20 minutes. At 3:00 pm still no delivery. 4:30 pm no delivery. He never showed up! Nor did we EVER receive a call from him explaining what the problem was. He can't use the excuse he didn't have my phone number because he had called me back after checking with his driver at 1:20 pm. He could have texted me an explanation but he didn't. This guy is unreliable! If I could give him less than 1 star I would ... He doesn't even deserve that. read more
