First time purchasing firewood here. Friendly customer service, fast service, & I love all of the wood choices they have. For a wheelbarrow full of wood it was only $38, in comparison to buying firewood from home depot which was pricey for a very small bundle of wood. Would definitely come back! read more

Great pricing and nice seasoned oak wood. Delivery was a nice added perk, the gentlemen stacked it for me nicely as well. BEST PRICES IN TOWN! Highly recommend read more

Garcia's is my go-to for firewood. They offer several different types of wood at several different price points. They are all reasonable prices. They have wood specifcally for smokers too. Several varieties to choose from. Always great customer service. A cute little pug dog too! read more

Great pricing, great service. What else needs to be said? They are awesome!! I called to order, the woman that answered the phone was very helpful. I could have got it the next day if I had wanted to. The guys came, stacked it on my side yard and left. Such a great company. That is how you run a business. read more

Always friendly. Have been there a few times. Always tip the guy who loads. They bust their ass everyday.

Gave us the most competitive price on 1/4 cord of oak (or almond or walnut) of several places I reached out to. They deliver for a fee (a little steeper than what I would've liked - $60, I previously was able to get wood delivered from elsewhere for $35). In terms of quantity we were able to fill our 1/4 cord wood holder and have some additional so as far as I can tell we got what we ordered, though I'm no expert in the area. No complaints here. read more

Showed up on a hot Saturday afternoon for some wood for a night and they already had some bundled up in a bag, see picture. These were $10 a bundle which seems pretty similar in price point range for 2 bundles in the store. We're hoping it will burn very long into the night as we have a campfire spot for 1 night. The place seemed empty for a weekend afternoon and there was one employee working and his dog but it was a heat advisory in SD and 104 degrees so maybe that's why. I would imagine it being more busy in the wintertime maybe. The place looks organized. No clear direction on where to park your car but since no one was there we pulled up right next to the prepackaged bundles. Also I was trying to research online before and couldn't figure out if people can pay with card and not cash.. sorry folks forgot to ask. We paid with cash - call and ask if you're wondering for a larger order. read more

The staff is friendly. They loaded the wood for me. I would have given them five stars. However, some of the wood had termites. Luckily, my cat saw them. I tossed those in the fire swiftly. I had to burn my wood faster than expected due to this. Next time, I will load my own lumber and inspect the wood. read more

Great price. Had firewood delivered and stacked. Very happy with the job! Will definitely use this company again read more

Good price, everyone that I have been in contact with are very helpful and friendly. I get the wood for smoking they always have something good. The twice split is what I get and it is perfect size for a stick burner smoker. Pull up place order and they place items in truck bed you done even get out of your vehicle. Myself and others confirm that Garcia is inaccurate on there measurements when buying cords, half cords and quarter cords of firewood always in their favor this is no way to run a business dealing with the public. I do not recommend buying wood from these guys. They are intent on trying to convince you that they are right and you are wrong on your measurements, it's very simple math. 4x4x8, 4x4x4 and 4x4x2 apparently they have not learned customer satisfaction with your help they will. I'm talking about a substantial difference just because they sell wood doesn't mean they can measure. Yes, I'm dissatisfied. read more

We wont go anywhere else for Fire Wood. We are lifelong customers. Highly recommend. Excellent service.

Super friendly and great service. Good quality firewood! I have used them every season for the past 4 years!

I've picked up firewood every year from Garcia's firewood. I've always been happy with the wood. I drove all the way from Escondido for the wood - the place near me wanted to charge $60 more for the 1/2 cord of wood - and, I would have to load into my truck by myself....really? Garcia's loaded my truck and was happy to get my business. read more

Picked up a 1/2 cord of oak and cherry mixed. Zero issues, got me loaded and on my way quickly and the wood was well seasoned. I've had other wood that was supposed to be seasoned but turned out to be wet/green. Definitely not the case here. Thanks guys! read more

I stopped buying wood from Garcias two years ago because it was not dried and wood not burn. I was running late so I went back...again the wood does not burn. I will stack it for next year and go back to SoCal Firewood. read more

Used to be a great firewood company but the owner passed the reins to her sister's family and it's just not the same anymore. The customer service is just not there, you always feel like you're bothering them and they don't reply promptly if at all, and if they give you green, unseasoned wood and you complain, they blacklist you. We decided to pay more and use Olsen's, their customer service is fantastic and you get what you pay for! read more

Guys here are always friendly. I like joking around with them while I HELP THEM LOAD THE WOOD! Yes people. Come on. I always lend a hand and am surprised to hear how people pull up and sit in their AC while they load up. I at least will stand out there just to show appreciation because most times they tell me not to help that they got it. Anyway. Always have good selection at good prices. Oh yea and don't forget to tip them. I gave them a $20 tip after loading 3/4 cord of wood into the truck and they were blown away.. get it together Easy County. read more

I have been burning wood in my wood insert stove for 18+ years. Since my home does not have heat, it's been the source for warming the house and has never been a problem. I just bought a 1/2 chord of mixed hardwood and softwood from this place and I'm thoroughly disappointed. The wood they delivered does not light or burn hot. It's either crap or not seasoned. I had 3 logs left over from last winter that lit immediately and burned hotter than 6 from here. Would not recommend! read more

Great service, variety of seasoned wood, delivery - my first choice for firewood. Highly recommended.

First time ordering wood and got 1/2 cord of Pinon delivered after discussing the best options. Paid for delivery AND stacking which was very worth it to me. Didn't expect to see as much wood as this so I was glad the right set up for stacking. Great Service and I expect the firewood to be excellent as well. They had a variety of firewood choices as well. Summer pricing was very good as well. Will definitely continue to purchase from Garcia's! read more

Recently moved into the area and always drive by Garcia's Firewood while driving northbound on the 67. Since I own over an acre now, I thought I'd start enjoying fire pit fires at night out in the backyard. I don't remember the lady that has helped me twice already but she recommended the wood type "Pinion" that's from Mexico. This wood is awesome! It burns hot, long and smells so good. I highly recommend Garcia's. $25 per wheel barrel. Three barrels fills my back Toyota 4Runner. read more

Called Garcia's firewood and was happy to hear they are open during their regular hours during this time. Drove over to pick up oak wood for bbq. Called a few places and Garcia's has the best prices. Purchased a 1/4 cord of oak wood which should keep me bbq'n on the stick burner for a while. Also bought a cool clay pot for the wife to put in the yard. Good pricing, good service. I worked with Juan and will definitely support this business in the future. read more

went for 2 wheelbarrows and they had preloaded some with crappy off size cuts of what appeared to be various trees.(no oak/walnut cuts). I asked for some more uniform pieces and walnut or oak. She said they were out (obviously in the background lots of wood in piles). wanted $35 each for each and was rude about it. Don't bother getting wood from here overpriced and selling wood not fit to burn. 2nd time this happened and I will never go back. read more

I have been a Garcia's customer since they were at their old location. They are friendly and the quality of their firewood is excellent. I always get a mix of oak and pinyon pine when they have it. It has always been well seasoned and burns hot and clean. read more

Fantastic seasoned oak at the most reasonable pricing. Delivered on time and a good amount. Well cut andcaged

I would definitely recommend Garcia's for firewood. There are places closer to me, I live in Jamul, but none more honest, ethical and reasonably priced. I drove out there last week to get 1/2 cord of oak in my p/u truck. Knowing the dimensions of cord of wood stacked I felt sure I could fit close to 1/2 cord. I had purchased what I thought was that amount in the past from other places with their assurance that was correct. Wrong. The gentleman who helped me had 3/4 of a cord stacked to show as an example. My Tundra would not hold an entire 1/2 cord, more like 1/3. Hence he adjusted the price accordingly. I didn't get taken advantage of like I had in the past. Like I said originally, honest, ethical, courteous and reasonably priced. A solid five star rating from me! read more

I ordered red oak and had it double split. I was not sure on what to expect, but I did receive high quality oak in perfect size and quality. The folks were friendly on the phone and ended up that the owner was delivering the wood. The boss, Juan, was a hard worker. I like that in a small business. price was fair and very easy. Just call and they will deliver a quality product. read more
