I am a child when I go to this place. The excitement and joy is like a lil kid going for ice cream or 6 flags except instead im a grown woman in mid 30s overjoyed about to get my super flavorful delicious Cubanito sandwich. Im not even a big sandwich person, but theirs? the way its perfectly seasoned, with some hot sauce is heavenly mm mm. And they're always super cool. We ordered from here during peak Covid so all the tables and chairs were gone. However, there was a fair amount of people in line waiting for their food, so that was a good sign. Happy to know that small businesses were still thriving and that the food here was legit. We got an assortment of empanadas and the steak cubanito sandwich. Everything was very tasty; the sandwich was messy but full of flavor and the meat in the empanadas was juicy and filling. While the savory empanadas were good, I must say, the guava and cheese was my favorite. This perfect blend of tangy creamy cheese with the sweet guava... Just the perfect end to the meal. Lately, I've really been craving a Cuban sandwich lately, Cubanito is always the spot to go. Throughly pleased! Cubanito knows what they're doing with quality of food, service, and hospitality! I had the Cubano sandwich with a steak empanada, a chicken empanada, and a Malta India. Very filling and left me satisfied! The guy at front of the house was very friendly and seem to always had a smile on his face. Maybe for some of you that doesn't mean much, but that goes a long way for great service in the restaurant business. This sort of attitude made me feel welcomed here. The interior is great! I love the brick wall and wooden tables. For a spot where the food is made relatively fast, this is also the kind of spot where it's a great to sit down and chill to eat. I order the grilled Chicken Sandwich for delivery. This was honestly the worst Chicken Sandwich I've ever eaten. The chicken was chopped into little pieces, & they had chips in the sandwich that should honestly be on the side. Chips in the sandwich is a terrible idea, they get super soggy. I got it with everything, the steak is nicely seasoned with shoe sting potatoes, lettuce tomato (even better w/the hot sauce). The guy working the cash register tossed in a beef Empanada with shredded beef, rice perfectly seasoned (another winner). The service was great here. Always busy and I always drive by here but never realized how big it is on the inside. Good enough for social distancing. I would have liked a little more pickle and the ham was more cold cut like, but the pork was decent. The fries were crisp and excellent, perfectly salted. 2nd time visiting El Cubanito and having the Cubanos, first time trying the empanadas. If you are a fan of Cubanos they have a fantastic rendition here. Menu is abbreviated, with about 6 different sandwiches and only a few other items. The Cubano here is extremely cheesy with quality ingredients. The only thing I wish is that the pickle slices were a little thicker and more numerous. The empanadas were pretty good. The dough was fairly flaky, with nice filling. Tried the ham and cheese and the steak. Make sure you get some hot sauce. It worked well with the empanadas, especially the steak. Wife enjoyed the hot sauce of the Cubano.
