Easily the worst Mexican restaurant we've ever been to--Taco Bell would be a MAJOR upgrade. The so-called salsa was nothing more than flavorless, watery liquid. The ground meat in the tacos had an unusual taste, and the cheese enchilada wasn't any better--the cheese tasted artificial. The rice and beans were downright awful. Our family of five took a few bites before deciding to cut our losses and head to Dairy Queen instead. Also, be aware that they charge extra for credit card payment. No idea where the positive reviews are coming from-- do yourself a favor and keep on driving down 45 for a better option. read more

This quaint little place a great...cozy bar and plenty of seating throughout the place. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Had a Beer and ordered the Super Burrito. This thing is nearly the size of a loveseat and is borderline flood challenge material. Needless to say, I got a to-go box. Great flavor, busting with tons of chicken and rice, and topped with a rediq amount of cheese. Will hit this joint up again next time in Buffalo...check em out. read more

Worst customer service I've received in years! My husband's rib-eye was well done! Completely over cooked, we were so hungry and driving to Dallas with no time to wait for another one. He wanted to eat his enchiladas and the awful waitress said if he took a bite of the enchilada he had to pay for the entire meal including the over cooked ribeye! She said that's the owners rules and wouldn't budge so my husband left hungry. Never again! Bad karma for you guys. read more

We started off with margaritas. They were delicious and refreshing. The complimentary chips and salsa were good. We requested hot sauce that had more heat and were served two more sauces. They were great. We ordered the beef fajitas and cheese enchilada/beef taco plate. The beef fajitas were really good. The meat was so tender and flavorful. Would order again! The taco was a little greasy but still good. I'm just not a fan of Tex mex enchiladas but these were ok. Rice and beans were good. This is our favorite Mexican place in Buffalo. read more

Don't believe the good reviews. Simply a Mexican food restaurant in the middle of no where. We had low expectations and we're even disappointed. Best advice is travel down the road to the next exit and visit the Taco Bell or the Mexican restaurants of the highway. Food is only edible and double check the silverware. The hot sauce is warm and home made. Really good. Their beef fajita meat had great flavor. I got an appetizer sampler and the whole plate was very enjoyable as were the meals my family ordered. The waiter was really nice and the bathrooms were clean. The only reason I docked a star was that we wanted to order dessert. The menu had fried ice-cream and we were excited to order it. They told us they couldn't make it, so we ordered a couple orders of sopapillas. I ate at El Corral tonight with friends from work and we had a great meal and a good time. When we first got there, the restaurant was about a quarter full but within 20 minutes the restaurant was packed. It was clear after eating in Buffalo all week trying different restaurants in the evening that this was a hot place to go. It's a small restaurant and it's not much to look at and the service is a little slow, but I probably had the best dish at a Mexican restaurant in my life. It was called the Molcajete. My work friends also enjoyed their meal and everyone said it was world's better than Rancho Viejo. It is also obvious that this restaurant is popular with locals. It was very loud and most of the meal we were concerned about a little toddler who was running all over the place thinking that any minute he was going to run into something or someone and hurt himself or someone else. I felt bad for the servers trying to work around him but they continued their work and took care of us. Very warm when we came in and as soon as we sat we should of left because I notice they were using window units as AC. Very strange! We wait awhile and the waitress came and brought us some warm water down salsa with chips. I'm use to cold salsa or at least room temperature. The salsa was definitely had too much water. I got beef fajitas. Charro beans had tomatoes in it which taste very plain. And they put a slice of tomato on the fajitas which was very strange! The beef fajitas taste okay. I wish they had bell peppers instead tons of onions in it. The price was $8.99. I guess you get what you pay for it here. Anyways the Spanish rice and Pico de gallo was the only thing that was good. As a transplanted Californian I am used to exceptional Mexican food and this place is right up there with most of the places I have been throughout the state.Their mocajete was delicious and had both nopales and bacon which made it stand out.They flavor their meat extremely well so it is not bland at all and you notice that.They have a bar but since covid it does not seem it is manned that way.They do have drinks but mostly pre-mixed type.The food is delicious and priced well and the staff is exceptionally polite and very considerate trying to see that you are being served and not lacking anything.Usually you do not have the wait staff constantly asking you if they can get you something but here they make all of the customers feel that they want to make their dining experience exceptional and they truly do.Come see for yourself it is definitely one of the best places in Buffalo without question. read more
