Poor service -- definitely needs improvement.
I understand there is apparently a sign at Big Madre Tacos & Tortas stating not to walk away from the counter after placing your order. However, I honestly did not see the sign. I simply walked over to the cooler to grab my drink and immediately came right back.
There was no one else in the restaurant, so I was surprised that instead of simply letting me know about the policy, they had already wrapped up my tacos without finishing them the way I specifically wanted
them.
What made the experience even worse was hearing the employees laughing and talking about the situation afterward. I could clearly hear the conversation, and it came across as very unprofessional and disrespectful toward a customer.
If there's a policy, that's fine -- communicate it to customers instead of assuming everyone saw a sign. And regardless of the situation, customers should be treated with professionalism and respect.
