Was in the mood for some ice cream but this far exceeded my expectations. Found this spot online and when we pulled in there was already a line. There's a parking lot attached in the back. Don't be like the a-hole who parked in the middle of the drive-way blocking everyone from getting out or in. There's a restaurant attached and some seating and tables outside where you can order and enjoy your dessert. I came later in the evening on a Friday around 7pm. We ordered the elote and churros bite. We wanted to try the waffles but we were told they sold out. The churros bites comes with ice cream so we selected the strawberry cream (because the vanilla and chocolate was sold out). The churro bites were amazing, they came out hot, with ice cream, sprinkles and whipped cream. We scarfed them down quickly. The elote wasn't that impressive. It tasted like it was missing something m, it was very bland and pretty much tasted like nothing. Otherwise, I'd definitely return here for dessert. Went to store at 1pm on a Saturday. Not open! Facebook posts by the owner yesterday say open at 12 daily. Need to update the store hours on social media - Facebook, google and Yelp, so customers don't waste a trip. read more

We came the opening day and this place was great. I've been back several times, trying the guava, guyanabana, marecuya, and fresa. They were good and the size was good (definitely smaller than opening day but still a good size.). Today, I asked for 4 fresas con crema (thinking this was the fresa), 2 in a cup, and 2 in waffle cones. The lady asked me "the cake dessert?" I'm not sure why you would put cake in a cone but I clarified that I was referring to the ice cream and reiterated that I wanted them in 2 cups and in 2 waffle cones. Apparently they no longer carry fresa and the fresa con crema was pretty nasty and left a bad taste in my mouth. They gave me 2 in sugar cones. I told the girl that I had ordered waffle cones. She gave me a blank stare and the lady who I gave my order to gave me an attitude and in a sharp voice told me the waffle cones were $6. I had no idea they didn't charge me appropriately. Sugar cones are $5, waffle cones are $6. Apparently in a cup without a cone is also $5 since she had charged me $20 initially. After I pulled out $2 cash, she told me I owe her $2. To make matters worse, there was so little ice cream that it barely peeked above the cone. The first visit would have gotten 5 stars. The second and third would have gotten 4 stars because the amount was less. The fourth visit would have gotten 3 stars (they gave me a sugar cone instead of a waffle cone and didn't specify that the vanilla ice cream, that they offered as a flavor, was soft serve and not Mexican), but this visit has earned 1 star for screwing up my order and giving me an attitude about it, and the amount of ice cream being so little. There seems to be a downward trend in such a short time which is a real shame. They've lost my business. read more

El Confetti has my heart, but like anything that does, it comes with its frustrations but all in all the love is there... Let's get the frustration out of the way... you are taking a gamble on whether or not they are going to be open... to the point where even if the lights are on and the music is on, you park up, mouth watering and they tell you as you stand there for 5 mins looking at the person through the window that they closed 6 minutes ago where on every platform available it still shows them open for another 1-2 hours... like I said frustration... under every other circumstance conceivable I would throw my hands up and say no way never again will I put myself in that position... but the love of the flavors that El Confetti brings has you adjust your mindset and decide you will only go between 3-8 to prevent that kind of heartbreak ever again... so I've been here 5 times with 3 trips being successful. They have Ice cream and additional Mexican snacks... Their Mexican street corn is fantastic... for someone like me who really can't go straight into something sweet this is a perfect started and honestly initially the only thing I came for. But I decided to try some of their desserts... I mean they have Churros so how could you not.... But they don't just have Churros, they have some of the best I have ever had and the dip it in some flavorful ice cream... it's heavenly... I've tried a few of their other desserts im not going to pretend to know the names one with mangos, but with mango mango down the street that's probably a one and done... an ice cream parfait type thing with strawberries that was really good I would get that again. Their Ice cream is really good too, the guava and butter pecan definitely get special mention... I still have a few more to try. Def get out there... just mind your timing, hopefully they get their stable hours together soon. read more

Tasty desserts and snacks. Lots of options on the menu and it was hard to choose. I had the traditional elotte corn on a stick and churros with ice cream. The elotte was like a meal by itself, covered in cheese, butter and spice. Perfect combination of savory, sweet and salty (just like my wife). The churros/ice cream was also perfect. Generous portion that also included strawberries, whipped cream, chocolate sauce and sprinkles. I let the churro pieces soak up the melted ice cream to take it to the next level. Even though it's on a busy highway, the large porch with colorful umbrellas and decorations felt like we were temporarily transported to a Mexican vacation spot (warm breeze helped with that). This place is much better than a typical ice cream joint. I hope they stick around for a long time. read more

I bought a Chamoyada or Mangonada. For those that dont know it's like a mango fruit desert with Mexican chili sauce and lime. I lived in LA for 9 years so I would get this a lot. This restaurant didn't serve the authenticatic recipe at all. She served me a half water half mango smoothie, tasting very bland for $8. I had to take it home doctor it up. It also took about 15 minutes to serve. My wife got an ice cream. It was ok, but such a small amount for $5. We went to primos water ice after and got an ice cream for $3. This place is going to go out of business very soon. read more

We had horchata tha captured the essence of the drink (not too sweet but redolent in cinnamon with a slight starchy aftertaste). We also ordered two scoops of tequila. Went to confetti after ordering 1 hour before, it went through, we got there at 8:30 and no one was there appeared closed even when it says it closes at 9:30 and charged us twice over the app, we also called 4 times no one picked up which is why we order online. very disappointed. read more

I love this place! All the ice cream tastes so fresh, and some of the flavors are something you don't see everywhere- soursop, horchata, passion fruit, and many more. El Confetti has quickly become our favorite ice cream place. They also have great hours. Oh and the street corn is SO good! Salty creamy crunchy, oh my goodness.
