The birthday cake sundae was the favorite item. The mini birthday cakes were amazing! Hands down the best part of the entire order and visit. There's plenty of parking and there's only outdoor seating. The tables are right next to a fence, and the building is on a local turnpike, so be sure to pull up slowly so you don't miss it.

It took about an hour to get inside, and another 20 minutes to get to order. The place is modern and minimalist. A pretty simple menu, centering on their platform of a "crispy cone" which seems to be a laminated yeast dough like a danish or donut, wrapped around a mold , proofed and toasted in an electric toaster, dusted in cinnamon sugar while still hot and allowed to cool. Then you can get just a cone with a spread (Nutella, PB, chocolate etc.) a cone with ice cream, with a spread l, a drizzle and a topping, or a cone filled with fruit, a drizzle and whipped cream. Or if you want to forego a cone you can get a cup of ice cream apparently they deliver and have an app for mobile ordering. Price point is about $8-$10 each. We got our cones at the end of a long wait - again during grand opening weekend, they still have some efficiencies and training to work out but this review and rating does not reflect that. Once the newness wears off I'm sure things will get speedier and more consistent. Speaking of which, we found that between our four cones that our group ordered, there were some significant variances in consistency with amounts of ice cream, drizzles and toppings. Hope CC continues to work to teach the team these things. Overall, it was very good! The donut cone thing added a nice change to a standard waffle cone and ice cream concept. We thought the ingredients were high quality and it was delicious! The place would benefit from adding a few more tables or benches out on the sidewalk because the two little tables inside the place isn't enough space. We'll be back when things settle down!

To those unfamiliar; Crispy Cones is an ice cream spot where they serve the ice cream in this cinnamon sugar covered dough spiral thing. It's tasty, and they get pretty adventurous with the flavors and combos and what not, but the problem is that the damn thing is just so hard to eat! It comes in this bread cone, which should really be a BOWL, (tip one Crispy Cones!), and then THAT comes in a cone anyway. The ice cream is like 5 inches out of the bread cone, which is 4 inches out of the plastic cone, and it just creates this whole precarious, melty mess. By the time you've eaten the ice cream scaffolding on top, all the ice cream is in a melted puddle at the bottom of your bread cone, which is in the tight confines of your plastic cone. I wound up basically pouring the ice cream into the bread cones that I had upturned into my hand. It was a mess. A tasty mess, but a mess nonetheless. The store itself is very nice and looks refined. There was a fair amount of indoor seating, but we took it to go. As mentioned, if they did these as BOWLS instead, even the soupy mess after the ice cream wouldn't be as big of an issue because you'd have the real estate to maneuver. I suppose it kind of defeats the purpose to have a bread bowl and have to put it in a real bowl, but so does having a bread cone in a plastic cone....*shoulder shrug emoji* It's nice, but it's gimmicky, and I see no reason to take the trip back.

After being brought Chamoyada by a coworker local to this shop, I paid a visit to this place the instant I figured out where it was from. While the surrounding area may not be the nicest, you are immersed by a friendly, aesthetically pleasant, and welcoming environment the second you step in here. The employee behind the counter was extremely pleasant in helping me out, giving me a menu, and helping me realize that the description that I gave her was in fact Chamoyada. Aside from Chamoyada, the menu has a ton of desserts, waffles, pancakes, Mexican corn, Ceviche, smoothies, açaí bowls, and so much more. I obviously went to purchase the Chamoyada I was hunting down. I received my giant cup of sliced mangoes, Tajin, and Chamoy sauce for 10 dollars. The portion of mango is extremely large; you are given a 24oz cup filled to the brim with fresh mango. Inside of the cup is also a straw wrapped with Tajin and tamarind to sip the Chamoy out of. Considering the price of fruit nowadays, I'd say this price is definitely fair for what you get. I was also super impressed with how quickly I received the 3 cups of Chamoyada that I ordered. Aside from the huge product variety and authentic service, this spot is also super cutely decorated and has seating. There truly is nothing negative to say about this place.
