In New Jersey with a friend who will go In Search of ice cream like Leonard Nemoy (Google it). No matter where we are in the states or abroad she has to have ICE CREAM. This is when Yelp is really your friend. The locator helped us find this place. It's a winner. Lickety Splitz is attached to a restaurant/bar/bowling alley. This place is like hitting a New Jersey jackpot. I will be back soon to try it all, I love bowling. The entire business is extremely clean inside and out. There is plenty of seating, space and things to do. Regarding the ice cream at the suggestion of the server in ordered the ice cream flight. This was a good choice I was able to choose 4 flavors, mudslide/London Fog/Spiked Cinnamon Crunch/Banana Pudding. All flavors were very good, the ice cream was smooth no frost or sticky stale sugar. My only thought for the Banana Pudding, the vanilla wafers were there but no actual banana, another business makes it with bananas. This is the difference between good at Lickety Split and great elsewhere. I hope to return soon because the service was excellent, lots of choices and good ice cream.

One of the few places that are still open during the off season! We drove by this place the first time -- it's technically a part of Splitz Bar & Grill, so look for that sign on the road instead. There's a window outside to go, or you can head inside which we did. I loved that they had different flavors, some infused with alcohol and others without. The service was kind but I found the flavors themselves to be lackluster and very artificial tasting. Somehow they all tasted the same and had a weird consistency. I think their ice cream case isn't holding temperature right and they need to get it looked at. (While we were waiting, a sundae was made for someone in the joining bowling alley and they stored it in the case with the ice creams to keep it cold, but the whipped cream and ice cream started melting inside the case! Yikes!) Probably wouldn't return, but worth a try if your normal go to isn't available or open!

After hearing about the newest ice cream shop in our area, Lickety Splitz, I couldn't wait to give it a try. My first time here (definitely not my last) was on a Wednesday night around 8 PM. Lickety Splitz is connected to Laurel Lanes Bowling. Lickety Splitz offers a variety of flavors - both sweet and sinful. The difference? Sinful is alcohol infused. Who knew you could make ice cream even MORE fun? All the ice cream is handcrafted and totally delicious. A full flavor list is displayed on site and online. By checking out their website, you can also see the current specials they're running - in June they ran half off ice cream flights. Speaking of ice cream flights - they're awesome! You get the option to try 4 flavors in 2 ounce cups. Of course, this is what I opted for. I tried the red velvet, chocolate, birthday cake and smores. Each thick and creamy, but smores was my favorite. The Smores was filled with crushed gram-crackers and stuffed with mini marshmallows. There is a small seating section in front of the ordering window, and additional seating at the Splitz Bar & Grill which you're welcome to sit at. The staff all wore masks and gloves, and wiped down tables and high touch points when tables turned over. The staff was friendly. If you're craving ice cream, give Lickety Splitz a try!

Amazing selection of ice creams, both boozy and plain. Had the popcorn flavor, I loved the buttery popcorn flavor but could've done without the harder little kernels. Soggy popcorn bits didnt add too much for me, maybe caramel popcorn would've been better?

I found out about Lickety Splitz last week and since then, I have been dying to go! I finally went last night, and it exceeded my expectations! Lickety Splitz offers both "sweet" and "sinful" ice cream. The "sinful" ice cream is alcohol infused and you can even add an extra shot to your milkshakes. I got the adult birthday milkshake (on the sinful side) and added an extra shot. And yes, they did card me! The milkshake was delicious and the alcohol did not take over the flavor- which was a good thing. My boyfriend got the "sweet" flight which comes with your choice of any four flavors. They also offer a "sinful" flight. I think it's a great idea to try different flavors- and they have a lot of unique flavors. There was some seating in front of the window where you order, but there is also a little patio/bar area that is connected to Laurel Lanes. It wasn't super crowded so we grabbed a table over there, and they brought our ice cream over to us. I already can't wait to go back and I'm looking forward to trying new flavors!

We stopped by after grabbing steaks at Gaetano's down the road. There's usually ample parking, although things can get crowded on weekend evenings. We were all able to find ~4 spots, and enjoyed our steaks and some gelati from the backs of our cars. Except in frigid conditions, this place is usually going to have a bit of a line, although not that long, and honestly, you probably need the time to figure out what combination of water ice and soft serve you'll be having this time. A small is NOT SMALL. It's definitely a big portion. Cash and Venmo are accepted here.

Because of that, it takes a lot for an ice cream stand to really stand out to me. This place does exactly that. It's hands down the best ice cream stand I've been to in my life. The environment is clean, well-kept, and genuinely family-friendly without feeling chaotic or messy. You can tell it's a spot that families return to, and that says a lot. The experience as a whole is what makes it special. It's welcoming, easygoing, and a great place to stop whether you're with kids or just looking for a relaxed dessert outing. It's not something I do often, but this location is absolutely worth going to at least once. A solid five-star experience and a must-see for its family-friendly atmosphere alone.
