We went here for the first time last night and enjoyed the froyo! The shop was super crowded at the time, but the lines moved quickly and there were still a few seats available. The froyo was very tasty and they had tons of different toppings to add on. The prices were very reasonable as well! For 2 yogurts, it came to $13. Like the "good ol' days" when FROYO places were a trend. Get your cup and giddy up! Put your overpriced creation on their scale and pay. There was seemingly only ONE employee working. Even if it's an easy job (the price comes up on the register when your cup is on the scale), more staff should be on, in my humble opinion. (I waited almost 2 minutes to be rung up). Plus, I was there at approximately 3:30 p.m. and they were pretty darn busy (good for them!). Full disclosure, *I'VE* never eaten here. Sure, I've been here like 10 times. I've sat inside, I've sat outside, I've taken to-go, etc, but I've never actually had their Fro-Yo touch my actual lips. My DAUGHTER eats here like it's her addiction. (the kid's got a thing for ice cream. *shoulder shrug emoji*) That said, I am STILL super comfortable knocking two stars off this place for the following reasons: 1) They are one of those god awful "pay what you weigh" places. You come in, you grab a cup, you pick a flavor, or 12, then top whatever flavors with a dizzying array of toppings: sprinkles, pretzels, candy bits, cereal, marshmallows, fruit, etc, etc, etc. You put it on a scale and then recoil at the number they tell you. 2) As I mentioned, YOU get to do all of this. You are the employee making your treat. You grab the cup, you work the handles, you spoon/place the toppings, you put it on the scale. The actual employees don't ever move from their spot behind the register. NOW, this setup might be the most sensical, and maybe even PREFERABLE to most people, were it not for point 3, which is.... 3) ....they ask if you'd like to tip, EVERY. TIME. TIP FOR WHAT?!?!?!?! You literally did NOTHING in this process except tell me a number! I even put the card in the machine and completed the transaction myself! I opened the door myself, got my cup myself, filled the cup myself, placed the toppings myself, placed it on the scale myself, completed the payment myself.....YOU should tip ME. It's insane how out of control tipping culture has become. And they ask out loud, so you have to feel bad about telling some 17 year old that you are not tipping. 4) It's usually a hot damn mess in there. As you can probably imagine, allowing a bunch of sugar doped tweens to operate a Willy Wonka level dessert station can lead to a bit of a mess. There is ice cream on the handles, Twix bits on the floor, etc. My wife said the bathroom is like D-Day at Normandy in there. And there are usually 3 to 4 employees huddled behind the counter, waiting on their tip. I don't get it. Again, I won't speak to the actual quality of the fro-yo itself, except to say my daughter likes it, but she's also four and eats cheetohs off of the floor. I don't see any reason why you should avoid this place either, but dear god, stop asking for a tip. That would be like Walmart asking for a tip at the self checkout lane. read more

I was not a big fan of froyo until I tried Kiwi. Now Kiwi is the place to beat! I've reached that stage in life where I'm starting to pack on the pounds. I've been a size 1 to 3 most of my life, but all of a sudden, I have to work like hell to keep the pounds off. ENTER KIWI. Kiwi allows me to have my "icecream" treat without all the calories. I thought all froyo places were the same until I tried a few others and saw that wasn't the case. Kiwi has better toppings and better flavors than any of the others I've tried. This was my first time going in because he always bring me a delicious treat home every time or I wait in the car. YES!!! I'm lazy!! Kiwi Yogurt is one of my all-time favorite froyo spots, and that says a lot because I've been to many! It's a little out of the way for me since I live about 20 mins away, but it's my favorite so it is what it is. Their flavors are always on point - my go-to ones are: Cake Batter, NY Cheesecake, and Salted Caramel. Dry toppings are always perfect as are the wet/candy toppings. The flavors are very hit or miss and I *hate* how quickly their machines dispense. It forces you to buy SO much froyo. The good flavors include the plain tart, peanut butter, and Ghirardelli chocolate. Flavors to skip include the orange, orange creamsicle, and cheesecake (tasted weirdly coconutty). Most flavors are 20-40 calories an ounce. It's $.60 an ounce or so. We got two very filled up small cups and it was about $13. They have lots and lots of flavors - about a couple dozen. read more

My daughter loves Kiwi and it is easy to see why. Kiwi has the most toppings I have seen offered at a froyo shop. They also have a wide variety of froyo flavors and have recently added an almond milk froyo which non-dairy consumers will LOVE! There are cups with dividers if you would like to try different combos and waffles in cups if you are craving a little something extra with your froyo. If you dont already have one, dont forget to ask for a punch card and work yourself towards free froyo. The employees always greet you with a smile and are constantly cleaning the tables, counters, and froyo machine. The location itself is a little harder to find than when it was in Cherry Hill but once you have visited a few times it is easier to find. read more

Not a great experience here, unfortunately. My fiancé and I stopped in after seeing a movie at around 9:15 knowing they closed around 10. We walk in an there are two young girls, one says, "Hi". We make our yogurt selections and start putting toppings on. I have to admit, while the stand up canister topping dispensers look super cute, their functionality is questionable. You turn the knob a little and you end up with 1 M&M falling out or 500 chocolate chips. It's just annoying...but I digress. We get to the end of the toppings bar and one girl is wiping bottles of sauce and another is taking topping bins to refill. They see us there, make no eye contact, say nothing and are essentially in our way. If you see customers approaching where you're cleaning, and if you notice us even stand there waiting for the sauce...wouldn't good customer service require you to either back off until we finish our toppings or acknowledge our existence by asking if we need something? I mean, my yogurt is melting as I watch you slowly wipe bottles of chocolate sauce! They looked very young, maybe it's their first job or maybe they were in a rush to get home before their bedtime but, wow, I've never felt so dismissed at an establishment before. We decided to eat the yogurt in the car just so we didn't need to deal with being in there any longer. The toppings were good with a nice selection. It's not the most toppings I've ever seen but it all looked and tasted fresh. They had unique items like peanut butter and chocolate chip cookie dough, pretzel M&Ms and what looked to be a melted Crunch bar topping. The yogurt itself was not my favorite. It wasn't as creamy as others I've had but the flavors were alright. Not as many flavors as I've seen elsewhere but overall most people can find something they will enjoy. There are so many self-serve yogurt shops now, they all seem to be the same layout. This one is different in a couple ways, both pro and con. Pro -- most of the toppings are dispensed in a cylindrical container, keeping the toppings less prone to kids sampling and sneezing on them. Only exception is the fresh fruit, which is why I get yogurt in the first place (and not go to those other ice cream shops). Con -- the yogurt dispensers do not list ingredients or calories, only that they are low fat or fat free (didn't notice any sugar free). read more

Wow. This is one of the best creations in a long time! I have tried many Fro-Yo places that have the same setup: pay by once, self-serve (choose your flavor of fro-yo and add the toppings you want, weigh & pay). Nothing compares to Kiwi Yogurt. First of all, this place is ALWAYS clean - even the bathrooms! You might find one gummy worm on the floor, but it will soon disappear because the workers are great. When you enter (every time) you will be greeted with "Welcome to Kiwi." Where have you heard a similar greeting before? (Cold Stone). They make it very simple for you - grab a cup and go. You can choose a waffle cone dish at no "extra" cost - just with the ounces but it doesn't weigh hardly anything. They provide samples but you need to ask. You can sample as many as you want. So far my favorites are Cookies and Cream and Peanut Butter. A few close seconds are Cinnamon Bun and Birthday Cake. They will give you seasonal flavors as well. Check out my pics for further information. There are SOOOO many toppings to choose from that you will find your dish heavier than expected. 20 some dry toppings and another area for wet toppings such as cheesecake, brownies, cookie dough, peanut-butter sauce, hot fudge, etc. Ask for a Kiwi Rewards Card. Every Kiwi you purchase, you will get one hole punch. After 10 punches, you get $4.00 off your next purchase (which is equivalent to one Kiwi dish if you don't go bonkers with the toppings). Definitely think of what you might want ahead of time or otherwise you'll end up with a bunch of weird combinations. You can sample the different flavors- you just have to ask one of the employees for a tasting cup. There's also a rewards card- if you earn 10 stamps (1 stamp per froyo) you get one for free. Also sign up for the emails because they frequently run promotions like fill your cup for $4.99! (As opposed to the normal pay per ounce) This location in particular is always clean and there are usually plenty of tables to pick from. read more

Frozen Yogurt is one of my favorite foods, and Kiwi is my favorite place for it. I started going to Kiwi when it first opened in Cherry Hill, but I found that the store was always over crowded. I was thrilled when an additional Kiwi opened up in Moorestown. This store appears much less crowded and provides a better frozen yogurt experience. The store is kept incredibly clean, everything from the frozen yogurt machines to the trash cans are kept spotless. The atmosphere is bright and cheery. The location offers indoor tables, a bar overlooking the window, and a few outdoor tables when the weather is nice. The staff at this location is also very friendly and will to provide samples to anyone. The frozen yogurt itself is the best I've had. The store has about 15 different flavors at any time, and you can check their website to see what specific flavors they have "on-tap" that day. Their topping bar is also huge with a variety of candies, fruits, and syrup toppings. Personally I love the Ghiradelli Dark Chocolate with chocolate crunchies, raspberries, and hot fudge. They also have a water pitcher for customers- which are rare to find in a frozen yogurt place. I signed up for their email club late in 2013, and I am so glad I did. They email me about once a month with a different deal or promotion, a few times giving away free ice cream! I enjoy regular yogurt, so I knew I'd like frozen yogurt, but I didn't expect to LOVE it! I tried it and was hooked - to the point where I ate it 3x in one week... for lunch! You pay by weight which could easily be a set up if your into all of the toppings. They have SO many different flavored yogurts, and I believe they list them all on their website. My favorite is the cheesecake flavor. Everytime I walk through those doors I tell myself to try a new flavor, but I find myself walking back to the cheesecake flavor. It's subtle and not too tangy. They have all types of toppings that range from fresh fruits to nuts to cookies. I usually end up with the cheesecake yogurt, kiwi, blueberries, strawberries and one or two pieces of the cheesecake bites. You can see how the weight would build up fast, but so can the calories! This particular location is clean, provides ample indoor seating, and has kind welcoming staff. Why did I knock 1 star? I have a personal pet peeve when froyo locations don't provide little sample cups right when you walk in to try. We had to ask the cashier who then had to wait to come over to serve us samples. She also cut us off after 1 each, which with such a large selection is hard to pick just one! Froyo with a friend. Honestly I don't go out for froyo typically so I don't really know if this place is good or not. There's a lot of nice flavors, didn't look like it had and vegan or lactose free ones... unless the strawberry coconut was ... but that didn't taste as nice as full milk and cream froyo. A lot of seating. Bright, clean chairs. No where to wash your hands afterward unfortunately. There is hand sanitizer, but that doesn't get rid of sticky hands. I have to say, we were super impressed and surprised when I called to inquire about non dairy options. The girl was so helpful, she told us what they had, and when we went in she had the binder with all ingredients waiting for us! We were so happy that they not only had not one non dairy flavor, but FIVE! My favorite was the vanilla almond milk. But they were all very good, the fudgesicle! Really!? I couldn't believe it was dairy free!They also had watermelon, pink lemonade and orange creamsicle. I don't know if any higher ups ever read these reviews, but THANK YOU. Froyo is everywhere these days, but Kiwi remains the best. I admit I preferred the ambience of their Cherry Hill location more, but this is a convenient location. There's always lots of interesting flavors, and they often have new ones to try. The toppings are plentiful, and the canisters help to keep things clean, especially with kids.
