It's been awhile since I've enjoyed ice cream at Sundaes. Recently I stopped here with my family on the way home from the shore. My kids (4 & 6) thought the drive through ice cream was the coolest thing ever. While the car line is a little slow, it give you plenty of time to review ALLLLLLL of their ice cream options. I went here yesterday to try it for the first time and it was great! I decided to get a flurry with chocolate ice cream and Reese's cups mixed in. The ice cream was very creamy and was rich in chocolate flavor. There were tons of Reese's cups mixed in. I would have actually preferred to have less toppings mixed in since the ice cream was so good. What was really nice was they had a drive thru that moved really quickly! I was only in line for 10 minutes! I would definitely come back again and try their homemade ice cream. read more

Customer is service is just awful and passive aggressive. I could understand if myself or others were giving them a hard time by being rude, making complicated orders and acting entitled, but when we are getting hard eye rolls while slamming ice cream cups on the counter passive aggressively when graciously asking for a different scoop flavor as soon as possible before they even started with my order without breaking eye contact was enough to never come back again. After all these years, Sundaes is STILL possibly my favorite ice cream place anywhere. I've been a fan of this place since I first "discovered" it a couple of decades ago, while visiting family in nearby Cherry Hill. It's probably been at least 25 years now, and every time I go back -- first with a family member, then with a couple of friends, then years later with my wife and kid and extended family -- there's always something new and delicious to enjoy. The staff have always been friendly and thoughtful, and seem to enjoy their work. The store itself is always nice and clean, and the ice cream itself is super. It's obvious to me that the people who work there, take pride in having a very nice establishment. Seems every time I'm in town, there's a few new flavors to try (though Jersey Peach is a longtime favorite of mine). I've never had a cone or a cup that I'd consider "average." Somehow, it's all extraordinary. I don't have family living in Cherry Hill anymore, but I still like to stop in at my favorite ice cream shop in Berlin whenever I'm passing by. read more

My only downside is that when going through the drive-thru, they didn't ask about cone type or toppings. The girl taking my order asked if I wanted regular cherry or the "big cherry." I'm glad she asked because I didn't realize they offered two types of cherry water ice. Usually when I get a gelati, I get either mango or cherry water ice. I ended up getting the Big Cherry Bordeaux water ice which has yummy cherry pieces throughout. It was quite good and tasty and paired very well with the vanilla custard ice cream. I have always loved this place, but went there today Had the worst experience ever customer service was horrific the employee messed up our order put our ice cream in cups instead of cones, and instead of just making a new one, he flips it over onto the cone, practically plays around with our ice cream to try to make it look presentable and hand it to us and the staff said that's what we do to save money instead of trying to make the customer happy and fix it. This is a nice little dessert place. There's a good amount of items on the menu and tons of flavors. They have hard, soft, and Italian ice. They call it "water ice"... I've never heard it like that before. There's a drive-through window and holy shit that is always busy the entire time I was there, there was always a line of cars. It never ended. I guess this is a popular place. I got the mix of root beer ice and vanilla ice cream. It was decent. My only gripe is that the ice needed something more. I always get root beer ice by where I live and it blows this places out of the.. water! I ate the whole thing because it was good. I'd recommend this place to anyone. read more

My one complaint is this crazy drive-thru maze they have and thats the only thing i think in my opinion thats bad. I ordered a chocolate ice cream on a waffle cone to go. They gave me a spoon, napkins and put it into a container. The ice cream is delicious and with the huge amount they give u I don't even need dinner. First ice cream of spring and i cant complain at all. Service was perfect and everyone is polite with well manners. read more
