There's something fun to look at everywhere! Everything from the funky animal stools to the train that runs around the top of the shop. Their favorite part has to be the small diorama set up - they love the little carnival scenes and they spot something new everytime. In addition to the great ice cream and awesome atmosphere, the owner of The Ice Cream Parlour is part of the experience. He clearly loves his shop and interacting with his customers. He even has a prize wheel and prizes for all the kids that come in. There's lots of indoor and outdoor seating and ample parking.

Except in frigid conditions, this place is usually going to have a bit of a line, although not that long, and honestly, you probably need the time to figure out what combination of water ice and soft serve you'll be having this time. When our name was called they handed us the cones, sauce inside. No box not nothing. We asked for a bag and then explained to the worker on the screen it appeared differently. She went over to the manager, who just shook his head no. He didn't come over to talk to us or anything. The box itself was over 20 dollars. I'm in the service industry myself and was a little disappointed in how he handled the situation. The ice cream cones were delicious, I'm hoping they change that on the screen for others.

It took about an hour to get inside, and another 20 minutes to get to order. The place is modern and minimalist. A pretty simple menu, centering on their platform of a "crispy cone" which seems to be a laminated yeast dough like a danish or donut, wrapped around a mold , proofed and toasted in an electric toaster, dusted in cinnamon sugar while still hot and allowed to cool. Then you can get just a cone with a spread (Nutella, PB, chocolate etc.) a cone with ice cream, with a spread l, a drizzle and a topping, or a cone filled with fruit, a drizzle and whipped cream. Or if you want to forego a cone you can get a cup of ice cream apparently they deliver and have an app for mobile ordering. Price point is about $8-$10 each. We got our cones at the end of a long wait - again during grand opening weekend, they still have some efficiencies and training to work out but this review and rating does not reflect that. Once the newness wears off I'm sure things will get speedier and more consistent. Speaking of which, we found that between our four cones that our group ordered, there were some significant variances in consistency with amounts of ice cream, drizzles and toppings. Hope CC continues to work to teach the team these things. Overall, it was very good! The donut cone thing added a nice change to a standard waffle cone and ice cream concept. We thought the ingredients were high quality and it was delicious! The place would benefit from adding a few more tables or benches out on the sidewalk because the two little tables inside the place isn't enough space. We'll be back when things settle down!
