MUST VISIT IN CLERMONT !! Pork with orange rice and Yuka is the recommendation. Home made hot sauce is great!

Authentic Mexican cuisine at its finest! Get past the fact it used to be a house and you're in for a real treat. The staff is attentive and polite and the food hot and fresh. read more

This place is truly a gem! The food here is tasty, fresh and DELICIOUS!!!! We ordered the chicken, with white rice and black beans with a side of fried pork. What I loved was that my dish was extremely flavorful but yet not salty. Our food was piping hot which I love. You can tell they're not serving left overs from the day before with the amount of regulars who are in and out. We had fresh passion fruit and mango juice to top off the deliciousness of our meal. The price is just right, not too expensive and you get a good amount of food. read more

One of our favorite Spanish food restaurants. It's a mix of island food (DR, PR, and cuban foods). Their lunch special of ready food is unbeatable and portions are generous. read more

Tried it last week and loved it. I'm doing Keto diet for the moment so I just got the ribs and a few pieces of chicharrón. Yummy. Now, I'm not sure why my "not that big" of a plate costs 3 times as much as a bigger lunch - this is why I'm giving 4 stars. If that's the per pound price for meat, I suggest reviewing it. This isn't my regular route to travel but if I'm ever around here again, I will try a regular lunch. read more

Great food and great service! Authentic Hispanic food already prepared fresh and you can place custom orders or catering as well. Delicious Latin flavor! read more

The food here is the best authentic Spanish food ever. I do not speak an ounce of Spanish and the staff was very helpful in helping me figure out what everything was. Will definitely be back. Tons of food for the price you pay. If ur feeling dessert the tres leches is a must try!! read more

This place. It gives me a semblance of home (Miami). The food has lots of flavor, the variety is great. If you'd like to try some really good hispanic food, full of flavor, and portioned well, if not generously for the price, be sure to come here. Since becoming vegetarian, we typically order rice and beans and a side of veggies, and still, the flavor is on point. Their desserts are really good. I had a cake once- I was upset to have finished it so quickly it was so good. I can't remember the name, but I've enjoyed all the ones I've tried. I just wish they had a vegetarian option for soup, because I definitely miss having them from here. read more

Hidden gem in Clermont. I am asian and they never give me a hard time communicating on what I want even tho sometimes I do get mistaken for being hispanic. I always get rice which is well seasoned, I get chicken quarters I think they either steam or roast this chicken because its always very tender and fall off the bone. They also have great pulled pork, Im a meat lover so I get everything meat, they also have plantains and yucas. This place gets packed at lunch because its so damn good. If you havent been here check it out!!!! read more

Great people and Good Puerto Rican Food but not traditionally seasoned/cooked cuban food. Owner was even compassionate towards a man that came in and was asking if he could work for food - he told him to come by the back and gave him food. Like I said good people. If you are looking for good home style puerto Rican food (ie, Arroz con gandules, pernil, etc) this is a very affordable place. I came here for cuban food and the black beans were not seasoned cuban style and the picadillo was too watery. read more

Authentic Dominican deliciousness! Get the breakfast "con tres golpes!" The staff is wonderful and friendly.

The food is delicious and the service is great! Hands down the best pernil! We've been to other Dominican and Puerto Rican eateries, but none of them come close. read more

Good quality food, nice portions, and quick. A good value for your money.

A good cafeteria type place for quick rice and beans whilst in transit. Friendly efficient service. The tables could be a bit cleaner though. read more

Found a new favorite. First time there -Henry greeted us and explained the menu to us (premade or freshly made menus). Casual, family-run (even abuelita is helping out in the kitchen). Got the lunch combo - choice of rice, meat, beans, and veggie (tried the pork, chicken stew, white rice and black beans (of course), platanos and mofongo on the side - better with the sauce on top. Music in Spanish to add to the atmosphere. Made us feel like we were on an island in the Caribbean. Going to go back and try breakfast soon (served all day). Everything was delicious. Gracias! read more

I came in and ordered a coffee which was excellent. I also ordered ribs from the food that was on display. They were fall of the bone tender and I added picante. Very hot and tasty. I olalso ordered a bacon and egg sandwich. I had to ask was it ready after 15 minutes because it took forever. If you want anything that's not already ready order ahead of time because you will wait a long time. The staff was very nice read more

Excellent little place for Latin foods. Not really a sit down place although it has plenty of tables, it's a food by the pound place with good cooks and customer service. Plenty of parking. read more

I only got one thing there so I'll admit my review is limited. I love empanadas so stopped in one day a while back to see if they sold them. The did so I got two... they were nothing but chicken and pie crust deep fried. Very dry. No moisture... no flavor. Needless to say I've never stopped there again. First impressions are everything, right? So Sorry I can't give a better rating. read more

This restaurant has incredibly fresh food from fresh ingredients, as well as, a very friendly staff, that will help you if you need help choosing what you want! They also, have great traditional daily specials!! read more

This place has to have the most flavorful Spanish food in the Clermont area! It's so hard to find chicken empanadas where the chicken inside isnt dry and tasteless, this spot knows how to get those flavors kickin in the kitchen! Only complaint about the empanadas is that not even a quarter of the empanada was filled with chicken :( All three of mine were only had chicken on the very ends. My favorite here is the mofongo! It full of flavor~ garlic, onions, chicharrón bites OMG ITS BOMB!!! And the prices are extremely reasonable! Definitely a good spot to come to during a quick lunch break! read more

My first time ordering from here and I wouldn't order again, unless it's the pre-made flan. I had really high hopes after reading all of the wonderful reviews on here. I ordered the stewed beef with yucca and stewed chicken with yellow rice and gandules. The beef was dry and hard, and the stewed chicken was really pale in color, dry and flavorless. The yellow rice tasted like it was stale and had been sitting for a long time. For just under $40, it's definitely not worth it. I do not recommend ordering from here. read more

Love these folks for authentic Spanish food. They are a staple in the Clermont community and nice folks to boot.

The food here is delicious! I find it hard to find a place with delicious empanadas, but theirs are amazing. Not only is the food great, but their prices are extremely fair--especially considering the size of the portions. Can't wait to go back!! read more

Good always fresh breakfast is on the money one of the best lil gems of Clermont for Authentic Dominican food. Great people!

Yes! Cafeteria style Cuban food. This place is a hidden gem. Their soup is always a hodgepodge of leftovers that taste superb. Fantastic spot. read more

This place is just amazing! I've only been here a few times over the years, but their food is just so delicious. You can taste the passion & love in their food. Some of my favorites are: rice, beans, tostones, carne asada & plantain maduros. My family really likes the fajitas de res, the empanadas & the Cuban sandwich. There are so many delicious foods to choose from, so good luck! Give this restaurant some love & they'll give it right back in a yummy yummy way! read more

We stopped in for breakfast and it is nice to have a Puerto Rican restaurant so close to us instead of on the east side of Orlando. We had two breakfast sandwiches and two coffees and it was delightful. We will definitely be back to try their frituras and hot and ready food read more

Coming from NYC AND living near Dominicans, finding a Dominican restaurant near me was ESSENTIAL! I came into the place with low expectations as I thought nothing was going to be close to NYC but I immediately was told otherwise. From the bachata and merengue playing to the cafeteria style, to the people working, to the amazing food! I was back home. I'm so glad I found this place on Yelp because I've even brought friends and family back here and highly recommend. read more

For a tiny cafeteria style hole in the wall restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised with the food. Very authentic Latin American items cooked with love and served in large portions. I had roast pork with yellow rice and sweet plantains, yummy! read more

Very, very, very good "Spanish" food. Definitely not something to eat everyday - as the food is high in sodium. But every time I eat here, you can tell the cook puts their soul into the food. read more

Cuban sandwich is legit and filling. Measures up to those I've had in Miami. Mofongo is also recommended.

Just moved to clermont and checking out the local restaurants. Employees were very nice and food was good will revisit again.

Amazing authentic Puerto Rican food! Great service! Must try the pollo and arroz con habichuelas rosadas! It reminds me of Bebos BBQ in Carolina PR. Must try El Cerro when in clermont! read more

El Cerro - So happy for this today! With back-to-back appraisal inspections scheduled this hit the spot! - Spanish Near Me - Clermont, Florida

First off, I am not very familiar with authentic Spanish food, nor do I speak Spanish (other than "college Spanish".. me llamo Niki). This place is awesome. It took a little brainpower to decipher the menu (it is a Spanish/English hybrid menu), but it's not too difficult to understand. I ended up ordering one of the Thursday specials of Chicharrones de Cerdo/Fried Pork with rice, vegetables, sweet plantains, and yuca. My brother got some sort of gizzard thing, which I definitely wanted no part of. It was also very affordable, I think it was $8.99 for my pork lunch special. Here is what I can say about this place: 1) My food was fantastic. I feel like this is what real Spanish food should taste like. 2) The people here were SO friendly. I'm always a little nervous when coming to a new place, but they made me feel welcome immediately with a "come on in honey!" as soon as I walked through the door. 3) The building is nothing special to look at, and the parking situation is "meh", but do not be deceived by the looks of this place, it is amazing! read more

Five stars! Definitely! Recently moved to Clermont from California and just now ventured to try this place. SO GOOD! I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and coming to this place was like coming to my grandmas house! So flavorful and authentic! I had the Mofongo with Carne encebollada... Delicious! read more

Excellent Spanish food. Even though I'm vegetarian, the rice, beans, mixed veggies and yucca are well prepared and delicious. They have the best fried sweet plantains (Maduros) I have found anywhere. The fruit shakes are delicious and although I'm usually too stuffed to enjoy the desserts they are tasty if you have a sweet tooth. read more
