Written as Stefan from SNL Weekend Update:
Stefin: Seth, if you are looking for a place to watch the sunset over a sea of vintage leather jackets, I have the absolute perfect spot for you. New York's hottest bar is... El Camino. Located in a former Dan & John's Wings, hidden in the sweaty, crowded pocket where the East Village refuses to sleep... this place has everything. Open windows, pickled green beans, dusty-chalkboards, mistaken identities as a Catholic faith formation program, people-watching from the minds who gave us Mister Paradise and Electric Burrito.
Seth: Mr. Paradise and Electric Burrito? Isn't that coming to TBS this fall?
Stefon: No. Chill, unpretentious, and tiny, it's the Peter Dinklage of bars. And the vibe is pure sidewalk magic. It's a European café fantasy where the music is at a completely reasonable volume so you can actually hear your date regret their life choices.
Seth: Okay, that actually sounds pretty nice and normal for the East Village. What kind of drinks do they have?
Stefon: They have crisp martinis, natural wines, conceptual cocktails, and... The Irish Mirage.
Seth: What's the Irish Mirage?
Stefon: It's that thing where you walk into a trendy Mexican-leaning mezcal joint, but they hand you a perfectly poured pint of Guinness on draft.
Seth: Okay, a little unusual, but not crazy. Anything else?
Stefon: Oh, absolutely. If you get hungry, you can wander right next door to HighLife, or you can stay inside for the house specialty: The Underground Baker.
Seth: What is the Underground Baker?
Stefon: It's that thing where you go to a hip, reservations-forbidden cocktail lounge past midnight, and a bartender silently hands you a warm, gooey chocolate chip cookie.
Seth: Wait, they just serve warm cookies at the bar?
Stefon: Yes, Now the Korova Milkbar isn't the only place to pull up a stool and get baked.
Stefon covers his face with both hands, shaking with silent laughter.
