OK. For a small place with a pretty basic menu, the flavors that this restaurant serves are very good. I had a lomo saltado, which seemed to be the usual dish served across countless restaurants, except that the flavors were exceptional. The same applied to another dish I ordered, an arroz chaufa de pollo, which looked the same as any other one made in Florida, but it didn't taste the same. For this reason, I'm coming back to try the seco de res. As someone being born in Peru, I appreciate these twists in flavor, and I recognize this place as a very special restaurant. Dessert was also very good.

Been looking for a local place in MLB to eat some Peruvian food. We moved here from Miami where Peruvian restaurants where everywhere to MLB where there are very few and haven't been able to find one until today. El Buzo is about 12 miles from my location so not too bad. It has almost 5 star reviews so why not. We drove here today and I was pleasantly surprised. Small, casual restaurant. Friendly service and good food. Although I was hoping that had one of my favorite dishes, Tacu Tacu which they didn't, I enjoyed what I chose. For appetizers we ordered Ceviche mixto and papa a la huancaina. For the main dish we ordered a lomo saltado and seco res of beef stew. And to finish off a chocolate mousse. Our meal was very good and definitely will try to either dine in or take out. Support local business by doing so.

Service was great, food came out quickly, and the beer with the glass was awesomely cold!

Casual spot in Cocoa beach with fresh, authentic Peruvian food! Tried the Ceviche de Pescado ($13.95), Seafood Fried Rice ($13.95), Pollo A La Plancha ($10.95), and a side of tostones ($3.95). Portions were a nice size (not too big or small) and everything tasted great! Nice plating too. Tostones were perfectly fried and slightly sweet, wish they came with dipping sauce though! Friendly staff :)

When I am craving Peruvian food, this place hits the spot. Portions are large, service was friendly.

Yes Eve award: best teriyakied lobster Highlights - Lobsteryaki: chunks of lobster wrapped in bacon and stuffed with crunchy chestnuts. Loved it. 4.5 stars - Seabass risotto special: thin chunk of seabass cooked with an outside crisp and tender inside. Risotto mixed with tomato and spinach was a nice combo but needed a bit more cheese or salt. 4 stars - French dip special: thinly sliced meat on a full brioche bun. Served with steak fries. 4 stars - Chicken Pasta: my son enjoyed his plain version which is always a win. 4 stars - Peanut butter pie: Chocolate peanut sweet goodness. 4 stars - Atmosphere: like you stepped into a time warp to the 60s/70s. Reminiscent of a Wisconsin supper club - Menu: decent sized with lots of options for pasta, seafood, and meat. Midlights: - French onion soup: decent version but bit salty for me and lacked a depth of flavor. 3 stars - Key lime pie: had an odd neon type glazey syrup on it. 3 stars. Lowlights: - Cocktails were just ok. Old fashioned w lots of ice cubes. They were out of the non house Chardonnay. - Took 15-20 minutes after we got our food for the sandwich which was odd

My fillet was thin but was good....should have been thicker for the amount of money we spent. My friend's scallops were chewy and not edible. When we told the server, they offered a dessert...but the problem was it was her birthday and she was getting one. I would not recommend nor would I go back. Another thing....the ketchup and butter were served in plastic cups...the 4 of us cost almost $400 and that was with only 4 drinks

Unfortunately a lot of the execution fell a bit flat, especially after both the menu and it's prices had set our expectations otherwise. The amuse bouche was definitely a palate awakener.. a mix of olive tapenade and vinegary mustard. It wasn't for us, but if the goal was to wake up our mouths, it worked. Then hubs had the scallop appetizer with bacon maple marmalade. He thought it was too sweet, I didn't mind it. Scallops were cooked well. I had the mussels from Brussels, a bit clumsy to eat as the mussels were in their shells and the thin Brussel leaves were scattered within/around, all on a bed of pureed potatoes. But a nice flavor and a good portion size. Then i moved on to the beet salad, which was my least favorite. A dish I enjoy at a lot of restaurants, all with different plating/approaches, this one was clunky, the beets were cut thicker than usual, plated with large proportion dwarfing the citrus and the cheese was presented in medium size encrusted balls. It lacked elegance or delicateness, the flavors didn't really meld as they should. Hubs and I then moved to the main course. I had the crispy gnocci app as my main, which was fine, nothing special and hubs had the catch #2 a tile fish that was just ok. We finished our drinks, opted for dessert elsewhere. They've been around a long time, so I'm sure we will try again in another couple years.

We made 7:45pm dinner reservations however we arrived early and found space at the bar so we decided to eat there versus a table. We ordered the scallops appetizer. They were cooked to perfection. I have Tuna and my husband had the short ribs. Oh my goodness. They were so good. Service was fast and efficient. Entrees were out within 15 minutes of ordering. All were great, but loved the uniqueness and deep flavor of the coffee one. 5 stars - Bread: warm basket of ciabatta was a big hit. We had to order another. 5 stars - Key lime pie: more tart than sweet and a good crust. In my top 3 (and I order it everywhere I go). 4.5 stars - Wine list: decent selections and prices. - Martinis: our table had a cucumber, espresso, chocolate, and lemon drop type and they were all great. - Kids menu: fresh pasta, grilled chicken, and more. They had the traditional Irish fare. My friend ordered the Ruben sandwich with sweet potato fries. She commented on how much corned beef in the Sandwich and how delicious the fries were. I ordered the corned beef and cabbage. Only $20.00. I received at least a half pound of very lean corned beef, red potatoes, carrots and steamed cabbage. A very generous serving. The corned beef was really lean , moist, tender, and very flavorful. What a great meal. They had traditional Irish music. Great atmosphere for the holiday. We had a great time.

Man I really wanted to like this place but I just couldn't!!…read more It is a really mundane place over all. The ambiance is that of every other bar, which in itself isn't bad but it is when you don't do anything to really stand out. I ordered the southern burger and their special of deviled eggs. The deviled eggs were really good but only 6 half eggs was $12. Way overpriced in my opinion. The burger looked really good but for $22 for the burger and the fries, it better be top notch. Burger came out over done, with the entire bottom bun completely soaked in juice. It basically fell apart by the end of the meal. I will say the fries were really good but for $45 with a tip FOR ONE PERSON this place is way over priced for what you get. I also thought my service was just okay as well. Wouldn't recommend this place and won't be back.
