    Nachos!
    Juan D.

It was raining hard when I sprinted from my car. I thought I was going to the Thai place but realized, oops this is a Mexican spot. Hey, so Mexican it is :) So can you make nachos with grilled chicken, grilled onions and melty cheese?? Close. No melty cheese. BUT refried beans, guac, jalapeños and sour cream over diced grilled chicken and shredded cheeses. Everything was fresh fresh with flavor! Bonus are the little house made sauces. Pineapple Habanero, regular red, then a yellowish hot. I'm typing and eating and just flat enjoying my Thai substitute. Added a Buenaveza lager and I'm good. 4 stars would've been 5 if the cheese has been queso instead of melty. By the time it cooled off I was playing archeologists chiseling the last few bites from the aluminum foil lining. Solid 4 tho!

Popped in and a rainy night. Super friendly service, WiFi to work on my laptop, and a quality burrito. I'm seeing this place getting poor reviews, was not my experience. I live in Mexico a good portion of the year and thought the salsa verde was pretty on point. No issues, and a comfy inside.

Has gone down hill unfortunately. So disappointing. Used to really like their food for the last few years. They changed a lot. The carne asada tacos I got today was not steak- at least not the same cut of meat as before. Tasted like stew meat/chuck. The street tacos used to come with 2 soft taco shells- each taco only came with 1 so they ripped. The chorizo quesadilla had barely any meat in it. The cheese wasnt even fully melted. I understand the rising costs of things- but don't continue to charge people the same or more money for less food- people do notice, especially long time customers. Won't be coming back except for chips & dip/guac or drinks. Still like their drinks and their convenient to my house

    California Burrito--

Have had a burrito here before and it was. Tonight my girlfriend and I got a 2 for 1 deal on the California burrito. Really good flavor but not a ton of substance this time. Very tortilla heavy. Queso was surprisingly pretty flavorless- definitely not worth the almost $9. Also, we ordered for takeout and the lid wasn't sealed on the queso, so that was a mess.. overall, a bit underwhelmed but will probably give it another shot in the future.

We had surprisingly great burritos here recently, and can't wait to return. We got here right when they opened one weekend morning and sat out on the porch in the back which was very nice when the weather is good. We ordered a breakfast burrito with bacon and the chile relleno burrito. Both were good and the chile relleno burrito was particularly excellent. We also got a side of street corn which wasnt great, but the burritos were so good I will give them 5 stars. we also really liked the salsa options and tried some of everyone, so be sure to ask. We particularly liked the verde and the garlic habanero salsa.

Really great, authentic Mexican food in a relaxing environment. There are a lot of choices here and I love all of the different salsas offered with your food. The patio in the back also is super lovely and made me feel like I was elsewhere. I'll be back!

We came for lunch on Sat, and we grabbed the last table available. There were about four or five tables inside, and a couple outside. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. I tried the carne asada tacos. The flavor was great. The meat was slightly chewy, but maybe that's just the cut of meat. Overall we had a great time here. We enjoyed looking at all their mule theme decor. The whole time we were there, we only saw one wait staff. The food came quickly and we were in and out in about 45min.

Was driving through Regent Square and saw this place on the main street. A friend had recommended it several times so we had to check it out. Prices were very reasonable and I got 3 different tacos. 5 stars for the Carne Asada walking taco. It was juicy and flavor filled. Definitely the best of the 3. The carnitas and pollo asado tacos were good but not amazing. Will be back again!

Tried this tiny neighborhood taco joint for lunch today, and while it didn't knock my socks off - it was pretty good. I liked the recommended shrimp tacos - 2 corn tortillas with several medium sized shrimp topped with a red cabbage slaw & aioli (can't remember what they called it). The guac & chips were ok - not great. The guac was super thick and missing those chunks of onion and bits of cilantro I love. You order at the counter and then seat yourself (most people get takeout) / though there are only a few booths and counter seating. In nicer weather, there's a cool back patio, I hear. The server who helped me at the counter was fantastic. Super helpful with recommendations and just, generally, bubbly and friendly.

(The building is on the corner of 38th & Butler Streets, and "Esquina" means "corner.") My husband and I ate one dinner here as part of a Yelp Experience. (I reviewed my free meal under the listing for that event.) My husband is not a Yelper, so he paid for his meal. Guacamole and tostadas - 4.5 stars - This appetizer was a large size. The tostadas were nicely crispy and had the perfect amount of salt. The guacamole was fresh. My husband said that it was probably the best value that we have even gotten for chips and guacamole at any restaurant. Carne-asada street tacos - 3.5 stars - Again, the serving size was large. The tortillas reminded me a bit of my husband's Mexican grandma's tortillas. As for the carne-asada meat, my husband said, "I don't know what that was supposed to be." Eek! However, he added, "The beans and rice are very good. There's definitely a Mexican in that kitchen." Well, I do not know who the chefs are, but I hope that they accept that last comment as a compliment. These two menu items cost $42 plus tax and tip.

They were a band from another country that was performing at a nearby venue a little while later. I was excited to be able to get them a good, non-road food meal. I'm sure any band members out there appreciate what a treat this can be. The place was half empty. After 20min., I had to physically go to the bar, where servers were kinda just hanging out, to get someone over to serve us. Our waitress was sweet. We order drinks and food. The chips arrived cold. Small issue. The food came soon after. Cool. Went up to check on drinks. Nothing. I want to stress that they were nowhere near slammed at that time. Our drinks arrived after we were well-finished eating. Not only that, we ordered Margaritas and they were all from nasty, synthetic syrup, with very, very little Tequila. I wasn't asked if I wanted salt so I made sure to say that I did. No salt. We couldn't even finish them they were that bad. Between that and the terrible service timing I regret not getting up, going full-Karen and having them all taken off the bill. But I was mortified and we were in a hurry. So, so embarrassing. It might be better if Condado slows down on expansion and focuses back on quality and service.

Beautiful outdoor covered patio and extensive menu of BBQ options!!…read more We stopped for a weekend Brunch around 10:30 and the place was still completely empty! The hostess stand is a bit of a farce - the employees seemed to hope that people would just seat themselves. Even when we were greeted - they said to just pick your own seat anyway! The decor is pretty cool. I'm partial to the stacked wood for the smoker as you enter, but the rustic feel of everything made the vibe come alive. With the smoker right next to the patio, the wonderful smell of the barbecue permeated the entire restaurant. The brunch menu was just as extensive as their lunch/dinner menu. We grabbed two coffees - which seems like a rarity - as they brought sugar and milk in little dipping sauce cups. The candied bacon was a MUST. 6 slices of thick cut bacon drizzled in brown sugar for only $6. Walter's Benedict with Pork Belly will stalk my dreams... the flavorful crust charred to the fork tender pork belly casually laying on the buttery, crispy chive biscuit smothered in the perfect hollandaise is the brunch you dream of but never really comprehend. Brisket Hash was unfortunately a nightmare though. The menu doesn't inform you that the brisket will be chip chopped into fine dust and coated in hot sauce. It was so spicy that it was almost inedible and the 1/4" of oil under the potatoes and eggs proved that even the hot sauce felt like crying. In all, the amazing waitresses and cool setting outweigh the one menu issue! We will be back!
