I don't know who needs to hear this but the birria pizza at La bodega has changed my life for the better. This place cares. I got to check out the behind the scenes on how it's all made and if you're looking for a full taco, some great flavors, and birria in all the ways - this is your spot!

My absolute FAVORITE taco place! Ingredients are always fresh. I usually order from a delivery app, and my orders are always right. Have had the pollo, carne asada, and fries with queso so far! I'm excited to try more things from the menu!

I really enjoyed this place. It's a fairly small operation with a couple of hard-working guys behind the counter serving up some pretty good tacos. They offer several different salsas and sides, and every last one of them was exactly aligned with the flavor profile I would expect. The salsa roja and salsa verde were well balanced, and the ranchero sauce was a nice option to have. All of them were both distinct and flavorful. The tacos themselves come in both "Mexi-" and "Ameri-" styles, with the American style getting some different/extra toppings (lettuce, pico, crema, etc.). Both styles were good, depending on what you're looking for. I highly recommend loading up either with one of their salsas. As a minor tip for the vegetarian tacos, I would recommend ordering the tacos without any rice. The tacos don't really need the rice: they already have a tortilla.

Can't get enough of the Al Pastor tacos! Tried to churros this time and they were yummy. They were more bready than crunchy but were huge! Also filled with caramel and sauces.

My friend and I stopped in here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We came in and checked out the menu. The staff were happy to answer any questions we had. I ordered an agua Fresca, chips and queso, and a chorizo taco. My friend ordered an agua Fresca and some tacos. The food was flavorful and fresh. The storefront itself wasn't too busy, which I appreciated. We sat by the window so we could people watch. I probably would get take out the next time I ordered from here, but I'll def be ordering again!

Absolutely loved this hidden gem. I was looking for something new, and this was a hit. I love the variety and plan to go back to try more menu items. Tacos al pastor are my favorite so I had to try that first. This place is on the main drag, they're friendly and the food is delicious. Parking is hit or miss but it's not a deal breaker. I loved the music too it provides the full experience. I recommend this place and will certainly go back soon.

I usually only go on Saturdays after the bars on Carson street but i found my self in there on a Tuesday after school craving the loaded cheese fries I'll sub the tortilla chips for fries and it is the best thing on the menu "to Me" they are fresh cut fries always hot and fresh. The service is efficient & always engaging with customers. Not to many seating options but they have a few and it's definitely worth a try.

Wow! What a mouthwatering experience! Had a late night craving for Mexican food and this was one of the only places open near my hotel. The vibes were a little sketch, but a more hole-in-the-wall place next to many bars. I can see this as spot people would crave after a fun night out. Service was quick and fast. From time of order to food in my hands, was less than 10 minutes! The employees were so incredibly kind despite it being late. The oaxaqueño was HUMONGOUS! Definitely heavy, but so incredibly filling. We couldn't finish both halves and will be eating it tomorrow as leftovers. The carne asada was phenomenal. 2 tacos the Mexi-Way just "melted" in my mouth. The limes were generous with 2 limes when most places just give 1 small one to squeeze on all the tacos. I was incredibly impressed by this boxes ability to make me full. It was just the right amount of everything to make it perfect! The chips were stale; however, I believe it's made from this morning so I can't be too upset about it. The salsa that came with the box was a little watery, but still was great. Overall, if you have a late night Mexican craving, would highly recommend!

New taco spot alert When a friend shared pictures from this spot last week I was so intrigued I planned to visit immediately & I'm glad I did. This spot did not disappoint. The tacos were full of flavor & authenticity. Save this post to add to your must-visit list!

(I reviewed my free meal under the listing for that event.) My husband is not a Yelper, so he paid for his meal. Guacamole and tostadas - 4.5 stars - This appetizer was a large size. The tostadas were nicely crispy and had the perfect amount of salt. The guacamole was fresh. My husband said that it was probably the best value that we have even gotten for chips and guacamole at any restaurant. Carne-asada street tacos - 3.5 stars - Again, the serving size was large. The tortillas reminded me a bit of my husband's Mexican grandma's tortillas. As for the carne-asada meat, my husband said, "I don't know what that was supposed to be." Eek! However, he added, "The beans and rice are very good. There's definitely a Mexican in that kitchen." Well, I do not know who the chefs are, but I hope that they accept that last comment as a compliment. These two menu items cost $42 plus tax and tip.

They were a band from another country that was performing at a nearby venue a little while later. I was excited to be able to get them a good, non-road food meal. I'm sure any band members out there appreciate what a treat this can be. The place was half empty. After 20min., I had to physically go to the bar, where servers were kinda just hanging out, to get someone over to serve us. Our waitress was sweet. We order drinks and food. The chips arrived cold. Small issue. The food came soon after. Cool. Went up to check on drinks. Nothing. I want to stress that they were nowhere near slammed at that time. Our drinks arrived after we were well-finished eating. Not only that, we ordered Margaritas and they were all from nasty, synthetic syrup, with very, very little Tequila. I wasn't asked if I wanted salt so I made sure to say that I did. No salt. We couldn't even finish them they were that bad. Between that and the terrible service timing I regret not getting up, going full-Karen and having them all taken off the bill. But I was mortified and we were in a hurry. So, so embarrassing. It might be better if Condado slows down on expansion and focuses back on quality and service.

Beautiful outdoor covered patio and extensive menu of BBQ options!!…read more We stopped for a weekend Brunch around 10:30 and the place was still completely empty! The hostess stand is a bit of a farce - the employees seemed to hope that people would just seat themselves. Even when we were greeted - they said to just pick your own seat anyway! The decor is pretty cool. I'm partial to the stacked wood for the smoker as you enter, but the rustic feel of everything made the vibe come alive. With the smoker right next to the patio, the wonderful smell of the barbecue permeated the entire restaurant. The brunch menu was just as extensive as their lunch/dinner menu. We grabbed two coffees - which seems like a rarity - as they brought sugar and milk in little dipping sauce cups. The candied bacon was a MUST. 6 slices of thick cut bacon drizzled in brown sugar for only $6. Walter's Benedict with Pork Belly will stalk my dreams... the flavorful crust charred to the fork tender pork belly casually laying on the buttery, crispy chive biscuit smothered in the perfect hollandaise is the brunch you dream of but never really comprehend. Brisket Hash was unfortunately a nightmare though. The menu doesn't inform you that the brisket will be chip chopped into fine dust and coated in hot sauce. It was so spicy that it was almost inedible and the 1/4" of oil under the potatoes and eggs proved that even the hot sauce felt like crying. In all, the amazing waitresses and cool setting outweigh the one menu issue! We will be back!
