Chili rellenos - A white ceramic plate holds chili rellenos topped with melted cheese, with a side of salsa in a small white bowl. The dish appears to be served in a restaurant setting with a wooden table surface visible in the background. The chili rellenos are breaded and fried, with cheese melted on top, and the salsa is green with visible chunks of ingredients.

Stopped in to have lunch today. I like the old Hispanic home feel of this restaurant. Today's dining experience was a big disappointment. The only good part was the service. Riley was new and her first day by herself. She did good. I ordered the tableside guacamole which was very good. Waitress did a good job making it. For lunch I ordered the chile rellenos. The rellenos were almost over cooked so the batter was very crispy boarding burnt. The Spanish rice was terrible! It was mushy and had a whole partially cut tomato which should have been diced. The refried beans tasted old and were barely warm. I ordered 3 sopapillas and they were cold....extremely disappointing.

Partial burrito plate, sopapillas, and Lou's tacos, salsa and guac on the side.

I loved the ambiance and service while I ordered my food to go. Rodd was great, professional and took good care of me while I was waiting for food. At home I set up the plates and enjoyed a nice dinner (my client and I share big meals) The sopapillas with honey drizzle were a very nice treat. Will be back for chicharrón and an El Bruno!

I don't know where to start. Authentic, amazing, New Mexican food! The chips and salsa were perfection. The chips were nice and warm, and that salsa! Yum! The only food I didn't care for that I ordered was the appetizer of Chicharrones. It was definitely reheated multiple times. My order of the Carnitas Ala Mex Plate was out of this world. The skirt steak was the most flavorful and tender bites of steak I've had. Now normally, I'm a green chile fan, but I wanted to try both and got Christmas on my enchiladas. Red all day! So much flavor! (And it's the spicier option fyi). Also stole a Sopapilla from my Dad's order of the green chile stew. Perfect sopapillas. All in all, I am in LOVE with the flavors here. But I will be skipping the chicharrones next time. The server was great. And if you can see the decor pictures- there's a huge room in the back for meetings that would be semi-private! Definitely try the skirt steak!!!!!

shrimp cocktail in question.... - Two plates of shrimp skewers are presented on a wooden table, each garnished with avocado slices, cucumber pieces, and a small container of salsa. The plates are white, and the setting includes a smartphone, a glass with lemon, and a napkin with cutlery in the background.

Servers were nice, but we hardly saw them. Also waited an hour for our food. Drinks were yummy and food was pretty good, I just don't recommend the shrimp cocktail ...

Green Chile stew - A bowl of green chile stew containing pieces of meat, tomatoes, and peppers is placed on a white plate. The stew has a thick, flavorful broth. Two folded tortillas are positioned on the side of the plate. The setting appears to be a restaurant with a wooden table, and two glasses of water are visible in the background.

Food is ok, not bad but not great. The problem is this is NM and we have lots of New Mexican food options. Ambiance is nice. Decent food.

It's difficult to find good restaurants that can cater to young adults and have REALLY good food and service. We came first on Sunday for brunch. The food was very good. It was a bit small on the portions though. We had breakfast enchiladas and omelet and blue corn pancakes. Then we came back for dinner. The chicken mole was divine, tacos, sea bass, pork steak etc. absolutely perfect. Good portions. Food tastes like it was homemade. The cuisine is Mexican...not New Mexican. The server was great about answering any questions and willing to omit something if possible. Our server was attentive and so gracious. The wine list was surprisingly good. We had a French Viognier for less than $50. Finally the owner came out to talk to us and thanks us for coming. I'm in the business and haven't had this kind of service for a long time. Our son with Celiac was very satisfied, but also we all were. I would absolutely come back regardless of food restrictions. Please go!!

The property seems massive and it's really beautiful with all the cottonwood trees. When you get into the restaurant, there are just tons of combinations of these cozy little nooks, long dining tables, separated rooms, patio seating, and event spaces. There is something to see everywhere you look; fountains, fireplaces, and plants, hanging chiles, and more. They even raise cattle and chickens on property and source from their own greenhouse for their menu items. The ambience was just really cool and even though the winds were blowing like crazy, we were totally comfortable out in the patio section with the screens up. The food is authentic New Mexican cuisine. They brought out delicious tortilla chips for us to snack on while we decided on what to order. It really felt like there was no wrong choice to make. They were very accommodating for food allergies and restrictions. There was great flavor in everything our group tried. I split the half order of chicken nachos and it was a hefty half order! I was so stuffed, but then, hot sopapillas appeared and I couldn't say no to those! Especially not since the tables had their own sourced honey. There is also a full tequila bar, but since we were traveling with kids, didn't get to take too much advantage of that as an option. I wish we would've had more to explore the property but if I end up back in the Albuquerque area, I'll stop by again.

The good: The red chile rubbed ribs are phenomenal, but 1/2 rack for $44?! It's not a lobster tail. Beans and guac-excellent, calabacitas-very good. The chicken enchiladas-delicious with tender chicken. The bad: 2 Grand Gold margaritas at $15 each that were neither grand or gold. I've had better house margaritas at Applebees, lol. Their red chile was sparse, but that actually turned out in my favor because it was on the edge of burnt. A bit acrid. The sopas were dense, flat, chewy, and overcooked. The salsa-underwhelming. If you want excellent Grand Gold margaritas, the best salsa in New Mexico, and excellent portion sizes- SADIE'S ALL THE WAY!!!
