I had Septoplasty/Rhinoplasty completed a month ago. I am so happy with my results. I was given sedation, so I was awake and did not feel anything. Dr. Eisemann has a straight forward personality (no fluff), but his bedside manor was good. He is a very experienced surgeon, so I trusted I was in good hands. I wouldn't go here. I would go to place that really consults and cares about their craftsmanship and office practices. I had an extended arm lift and it went horribly. My arm pit was left open during surgery (didn't tell me or mom in waiting room), the incision on my left arm is so bad I looked deformed and having to constantly hide it. He has been very rude about a revision. He'll comment how bad it looks and I need a revision to the next appointment scoffing he can only do so much and laser it instead of recutting it. My arms are the exact same size prior to surgery. I have to do this all over again somewhere else. The staff and medical assistant call her the nurse she is not a nurse. His office manager protects him by saying she doesn't know because she is not in my appointments even though we have witness in there. My surgical notes from Methodist I sought out are super questionable. Below are pictures after 6 months. no sculpting or sufficient liposuction, scars terrible, and batwings blobs. This office has skeptical practices. Refuses to schedule appointments unless you keep a credit card on file despite my deductible and max out of pocket having been meet for several months this calendar year. I personally have never in 40 years regardless of speciality had a doctor demand a credit card on file. If you're a new patient and do not have. A credit card you're SOL because they refuse to see you. Would not recommend as their level of professionalism is nonexistent. I have inclusive insurance that would cover pec implants as stated under summary description plan so I'm unsure what issue is considering everything is covered 100% at this point and there would be no fee to collect for consultation. This practice is a scam and fraud. No not risk your personal identity especially since they want it to remain on file before even being seen. read more

To be fair, this is not a 0 star review, it's a 1/8 of a star review. I had an FESS and septoplasty done by dr michael eisemann June of 2022. The surgery and recovery went ok, but now 1 year out, I want to share my results: There are none. My breathing out of one nostril has MAYBE improved 10% and I think that's being generous. Dr eisemann told me repeatedly to go see an allergist and when I finally did she told me I was allergic to dust.... Everyone is allergic dust. I took allergy medication but it didn't improve anything. Dr eisemann guaranteed that the surgery he was performing would only change the inside structure of my nose, but now unfortunately that's not true. The mid section of the right side of my nose is now more bulbous and the right side of the tip of my nose turns further downward when I smile. There's also some weird cartilage near the tip of my nose that catches with certain facial expressions and hurts. I followed up with him 6 months after the procedure and explained all these things and he completely dismissed them. His response to me saying that the right side of the tip of my nose now turns downward when I smile was "well only you notice that".... Yeah no duh because I stare at my face everyday and now my nose looks worse after sinus and breathing issue surgery. The whole point was you said it wouldn't look different and now I have to see it everyday and it's ugly!! Originally, I had looked into getting a rhinoplasty along with these surgeries but ultimately didn't go through with the cosmetic. I don't have an extreme nose by any means, but felt like if he was working in that area, maybe I would explore the idea. (But didn't) what I don't understand is why not part of the procedure was widening the nostril of where my nose was deviated to. My right nostril is a thin slit compared to my left and even with the "septoplasty," the breathing out of my right side hasn't gotten any better. If anything it feels slightly worse. If I plug my left nostril, I can barely take a breath in because my ride nostril just sucks in. Doesn't that affect my breathing too?? Not just inside stuff? I supposed I'm starting to ramble, but I told him all of this at my appointment 6 months after and discussed these issues. I asked if my insurance would pay for some type of revision and his office said they called my insurance and were waiting for an answer. A couple weeks later I followed up and because it was over the holidays, they said it might take a week or two for them to get back to them. I followed up again and nothing. It's now been 7 months so I doubt they ever even asked. Ultimately, I paid $4000 (for my deductible, out of pocket insurance cost, and other expenses to the doctor and hospital) for this procedure that I'm still paying off in monthly payments, and I have no results. Just regret. I absolutely do not recommend this doctor and if I could go back in time, I would have never had done this. Daily I look back and am mad at myself for trusting this man, wasting my money and time, and now looking in the mirror and feeling sad about the changes to my nose. read more

I'm so disappointed with this place. I had an appointment for a consultation on Wednesday (yesterday). I was called by the woman at the front desk asking me if I could change my appointment to Thursday (today) and I VERY kindly said "yes no problem I understand the doctor may be very busy". fast forward to today I show up and realize the parking situation is insane. I have very high anxiety when it comes to heights, inclines, and parking garages. I know I should have done my research more thoroughly to see how the parking would be but unfortunately I just didn't know. I called Carla at the front desk and while in TEARS explain to her I'm having a panic attack and cannot make it due to me not knowing where I was. Carla said ok but I'm going to charge you $60 for rescheduling.... I asked her very nicely to please not do that because I'm already very shaken up. she said no. I was going to reschedule and come back knowing the parking situation to give myself more time next time I came in. Carla had NO empathy for my situation and I find that very disrespectful and disgusting for a place that is supposed to make people feel good about themselves. I wanted to share my past and recent experience at Eisemann Plastic Surgery. I had a breast reduction 2 years ago. I was initially very pleased with the customer service and my surgery results, On the day I had my tubes removed it was VERY painful. It hurt so bad that I was crying. Dr. Eisemann looked at me like I had 2 heads. He said that taking the tube out shouldn't have been that painful. The pain was excruciating. I went home and I started having chills and running a high fever. I called a friend who is a nurse and he said that I probably had an abscess and it burst when he pulled the tube. He told me to call the Dr. and go then go straight to the ER. When I called Dr. Eisemann he told me that I didn't have an abcess, he said that I had covid. I followed my friends advise and went to the ER. I had a CT scan. When the Dr. came in the room he said "You were right, your Dr. was wrong". he gave me the dimensions of the abscess and it was HUGE. By 3am my breast ballooned to the size of a cantaloupe. They had to rush my covid test results so that I could be transferred to the main hospital to have emergency surgery. I DID'NT have covid. When I got to the hospital three people were scrubbing me down and getting me dressed to rush me into surgery. I was in the hospital 4 days. Dr. Eisemann gave me an apology but I didn't think it was sincere. I visited the office on the 11th of November because I had 2 lumps in my left breast. I had a post op appointment after my surgery and was told that I had scar tissue. On this visit Dr. Eiseman he said that I needed to have a biopsy. I was told that my appointment would be set by the office and that I should call the hospital and receive the information regarding the appointment the following week. I called the day after Thanksgiving and was told that they did have any orders from the Dr. I called the office and they claimed that they faxed the orders on the 11th. Between the hospital and the Dr's office I was given the run around, I ended up setting up the appointment myself after speaking to the scheduling supervisor. I was not told that I had to have a mammogram before the procedure. On the day of my appointment I arrived early only to be told that I could not have the procedure because I did'nt have a mammogram on file. I called Dr Eisemann's answering service. I told him they refused to do the procedure he said they would send over the mammogram results. They sent the results, but the mammogram was too old. The ladies in the office worked to get me in to get a mammogram and ultrasound the same day. The nurse asked if I would go to the Eisemann office tp pick up the order. I spoke with a nurse and I told here that I was very upset with the way things were handled and that I would not return as a patient, I walked out and looked at the order only to find that they had the order for the wrong breast. I went back and asked for the document to be corrected. I had the mammogram and the ultrasound and there was no cancer just fatty lumps and a cyst. The nurse told me that the procedure that was scheduled was not the procedure that I needed but it turns out I didn't need it at all. I called the office and asked to speak to a manager, she was unavailable, I left a message telling her the results and that I would be posting a google and yelp review. I have yet to hear from them. I have been worried and frustrated for nothing but that all could have been handled if they had been doing their job correctly. Waiting on to be tested to see if you have cancer is hard and frustrating but add poor customer service and scheduling errors to the mix and it is 10 times worse. DO BETTER!!! read more

I can't even get through the insurance representative Aisha to get my insurance approved to schedule a procedure. She doesn't answer phone calls and RARELY responds to emails and I've been dealing with this with her for months! If you have to go through insurance don't waste your time cause she's not going to do anything in a timely manner and it's too much of an obstacle. I had a WONDERFUL experience with Dr. Eisemann and the results of my surgery! So much so, I called to get some help with a fix that I need - UNFORTUNETLY I had to deal with his current office staff. I had my initial surgery done in the 90's and I need a repair, which is expected considering the time that has passed. When I called to get information and set an appt., Melanie the office "consulting director", dismissed me with an off-the-cuff quote (of $7K, then $3,500K and "maybe" $1500K), but told me the ONLY way to assist me was a in-office consult. When I explained that I was out of state and that I'd have to fly in just to do a consult, she stated that she had never heard of the company of my implant and without even bothering to research my situation...she stated that there was nothing they can do to assist. I would have to come in for a consult and have a nice day (this is just a snapshot of the conversation). As office staff, I feel that there should be an understanding of the stress, anxiety and embarrassment that a person is experiencing when a procedure for self improvement goes wrong. I'm sure, if Dr. Eisemann had known of my situation, a better solution could have been worked through. In an elective business, like Dr. Eisemann services...the staff onsite should KNOW how important kind, caring, and efficient customer service is and as a business they should do everything possible, for return patients, to stand by the product and service they are selling. **Consider that this attention-to-detail and work ethic, is very important when dealing with the after care of patients, one of which would be you. read more

I was referred to Dr. Michael Eisemann after having 4 ear infections in 12 months. I am 60 years old with sinus issues as far back as I can remember. Dr Eisemann quickly found the issue and performed a Septoplasty on my sinuses. For the first time in my life I can now breath, especially at night!! I selected Dr. Eisemann as my surgeon for a tonsillectomy when I was in college based solely on the ostensibly impressive credentials on his website, but realized after it was already too late that this was a mistake. He has THE WORST bedside manner EVER. I have MANY physicians (of a great variety of different specialties) as personal friends, and they agree that you should treat people with courtesy and kindness - especially those who pay your salary. Although I was only 19 years old at the time, I recall waking up in the recovery room following surgery. He acted as if he was upset with me for not returning to consciousness quickly enough. During my not-so-fun recovery, I called him once when one of my wounds began hemorrhaging and he again acted irritated as if I was wasting his time, even though he told me to call him if this happened. Pre-surgery consultations and follow-up office visits all made me feel like he was annoyed to have to see me conscious at all, like he just wanted me to pay him and get out of his office. In addition, his office tried to bill my insurance twice as much as the usual and customary (allowable) fees for a tonsillectomy. Although I did not receive cosmetic service (his primary business) from him, I got the feeling that all he cared about was getting his money. If that is the case, this man never should have become a physician. read more

A friend recommended Dr. Eisemann to us, as he had done a wonderful job with her surgery. I was nervous about my 16 year-old having a breast reduction, but Dr. Eisemann and his staff put me completely at ease. I went to Dr Eisemann for a Breast Reduction in March of 2018. The total cost was close to $9000. I do not recommend anyone to have Cosmetic Surgery at this establishment!! During the consultation the Dr. and his staff showed very little to no interest in any questions or concerns I had in regards to my procedure. During my surgery I was very alert and in pain!! Also I paid for anesthesia and did not receive it. The procedure was very painful and uncomfortable! Being that I was drowsy, every time the Dr made an incision I would try to mumble to alert the Dr that I could feel the pain, the staff memeber would give me an injection of what I believe was "pain medication "! Lastly, as far as the appearance, the results are not what I expected for the price I paid! Very unhappy!!! read more

If I had read these reviews I never would have had Dr Micheal Eisemann do my lower face lift. I now have PERMANANT FACIAL NERVE DAMAGE. I paid him for a lower face lift and a necklift. He only did the lower face lift! I asked for a partial refund, since my neck shows VERY little difference. He chuckled and SAID "I never give money back." He was very defensive answering my questions post op. He was usually very late for all my post op appointments. Do yourself a favor and go to any other plastic surgeon! The staff is very, kind, and caring. Dr Eisemann is the type of doctor that does his job, he's not one that believes in pain meds, anesthesia for in office procedures. I was debrided for about a month 2 to 3 times a week with anesthesia 3 times. I started to get very depressed from being in pain for so long. I've now had my skin graft, every thing was going well until Sunday morning when a pus pocket form and came pouring out like water. When I called the office on Monday was told to just come in no appt needed immediately he saw me. Got anesthesia after I reacted to him beginning immediately sticking his medical tool in the hole where the pus was coming from. I'm praying this will all heal, been dealing with right breast problems since October 2018 since breast reduction, I still have sutures that have grown up under my skin, that I am not pleased about till this day. I went to Dr. Eisemann's office for Laser Hair Removal last year and was burned badly after being told I was a perfect candidate for Laser Hair Removal at the consultation visit, that cost $60. I got 2nd and 3rd degree burns on my legs and underarm area and still have scars on my body from the burns. I went back to the office the next day (it had become apparent that my skin wasn't just a little irritated when my skin was charred) and he asked me "What do you want me to do about it?" and generally acted like he didn't care. He pulled out a prescription pad to write a prescription for bleaching cream - that I would have to pay for, and I stopped him because why should I have to pay for the mistake his office made on my body? read more

Horrible, uninformitive, ruined my once smooth abdomen by liposuction that my current plastic surgeon informed me only happens when lipo is done too close to the abdomen wall! The buttock implants he put in, left my tush COMPLETELY unproportioned, and when I pointed it out, he told me about custom made implants FOR THE FIRST TIME, which if I had gotten my tush wouldn't have been mishapen! Several years ago my mother came to visit me in Houston and decided to have a facelift. We researched all the plastic surgeons and decided Dr. Michael Eisemann would be a great fit and he had (has) a wonderful reputation. A real 'doctor's doctor.' My mother looked so good after the swelling from the surgery went down. She was so pleased and I was too. She looked rested and so lovely. She did not have that pulled up and overly tight look. Wow! I was impressed. I recently went to Dr. Eisemann for myself and now, several weeks following my surgery I am very pleased with the results. Dr. Eisemann's staff is excellent, knowledgeable and friendly and Dr. Eismann spent time with me to explain the procedure, the risks and what I can expect as far as the recovery and outcome. I had a breast reduction back in 2010. I will agree with some of the other reviews, he is not the most friendly doctor out there, but he did a great job!!! He is more of a serious person, and for me going in to surgery I was completely fine with that. I mean he is hired to do a job, not be your best friend. My surgery went off great, and I have little to know scaring which is pretty amazing considering I went from a G to a D!! He has a very professional clean location, and his staff in front desk and nurses were very friendly. One down fall about his office is it is located in the medical center, and you have to pay for parking, and when you go for consultations, appointments, and follow ups those parking fees tend to add up. If you are going for something minor as in Laser Hair Removal, I would probably consider an alternative location, but if you are considering an extreme procedure I would defiantly recommend Dr. Eisemann!! I had a rhinoplasty by Dr. Eisemann. I woke up before he was finished. He told me, he was almost finished. I was mortified! Then after weeks of healing had passed I noticed what appeared to be cartilage poking against the skin. It was a protruding bump. When I pointed it out to him he said, "what bump? I don't see any bump." I was insulted by his callus attitude. He then brings me the papers I signed as showing me that any re-service would cost me. Well of course! But I couldn't believe how arrogantly he behaved. I decided to seek out a second opinion with Dr. Bressler in the medical center of Houston. He didn't convey do's and don'ts surgery protocol. He did not checkup on mr. He let me leave hi surgical procedure office without any pain medicine. I had a 2 1/2 hour drive to my home and no pain medicine. Although, I had double drains and was blind for 13 hours even with my son changing the "sweetish gel plan" every 20 minutes the drive caused major pain. I asked for more than 4 pain pills and he gave me two. The real problem is one of the synthetic supports came our go my left nostril. He never offered fix it! Really???? read more

Dr. Eisemann has terrible bedside manner. Not friendly at all. I had read that he is a good Dr. but he gives off such an air that I didn't even feel comfortable asking a question. When I did question him he clearly makes you feel foolish for asking. I had done research and I knew that you needed to feel completely comfortable with your surgeon and I didn't from the moment he walked in my examining room. The nurses were quite nice, but the receptionist at the window that I had talk to several times, I witnessed her being sarcastic to another patient. The entire experience after witnessing that made me know that I was at the wrong doctor. Luckily I found a doctor that I felt completely comfortable with and does great work. read more
