Worst plastic surgeon EVER. Charges for procedures and then "is unable to perform" but won't return your money. And his work? Mediocre at best. Claims he's a perfectionist and an artist...yeah right what a joke. $16k for mini facelift after his add ons and I look exactly the same. Three years later still refused to refund money for procedures he never performed. He wanted to use the balance for other procedures but by that time I had zero confidence in him or his work. He is all smiles and promises at the consult but once he has your money it's night and day. Suddenly "recommended procedur" are not well suited but refunds are refused of course Only applied to other procedures. No I don't want $4k of Botox over the next 20 years! I want my money back. What a weasel! Sued him and he ducked service for over 6 months. The constable said he was one of the worst he'd seen about pretending he wasn't in the office hoping the constable would just go away. Finally the judge had to order that constable to just leave the lawsuit nailed to his front door. I finally reported him to the American Medical Association and miracle of miracles, I suddenly had my $4k. refund. No letter. No apology. Guess the AMA stepped in and saw him for the piece of sh#t he is. He's a horrible doctor and an even worse human being. There are tons pf great plastic surgeons in Houston. At my consultation I explained I wanted my columella shortened, smaller nostrils, projection brought in, and a slope for more feminine shape. Dr. Siegel showed me an after photo of what to expect from surgery. I told him I wanted more slope added and he said he preferred not to do slopes because in his words "they look done" but he agreed and added it to photo. I mentioned a double chin and asked about kybella, he told me due to my age it wouldn't work because my skin wouldn't tighten after. He recommended a mini neck lift. I'm only 35 but figured he knew what's best. During splint removal he told me I would be swollen but I would see the basic shape and be happy. I hated my nose. It was shorter in front but my nostrils seemed bigger, no slope, and projection was same. A stitch had came through nose and left a hole in nostril. He told me keep it clean and it would heal. (Did after a month but left a scar) Neck felt tight and was hard to lift my head. He assured me as swelling went down the things I was concerned with would change. At every appt he said swelling and inflammation were present and I'd be happier later. At 3-4 months I saw a dent on side of nostril. I also saw hard bump on side of tip. He said dent was skin beginning to wrap new nose and bump was inflamed cartilage that would go down. A stitch had popped early in healing in my neck and caused an unsightly incision he said we could fix in office. I also started seeing vertical bands in my neck if I moved my head. At 6 month follow up I told him I was unhappy with entire outcome. The dent and lump were worse, I had little to no slope, nostrils hadn't changed, and nose looked more projected than before. I showed how bad the bands in my neck were. He said we would need to go in and loosen bands. He also said during surgery he wasn't able to get as much fat as he thought and I would need kybella. Which was what I wanted and he talked me out of. He seemed annoyed. He started saying that I have thick skin and it's what was causing the results with my nose. This was NEVER brought up before. Not in consultation, any emails, or follow ups. He still had not taken after photos of my nose for me to compare my results. This suggests to me that he was unhappy with my results. I sent an email weeks later to give a chance to make this right he responded that he doesn't like to talk about revision until after 6 months, he had forgot I had just seen him for my 6 month follow up. I had cried for months about my neck and rhinoplasty results that didn't look or feel ideal and he continued to give no real answer just excuses so I went to 3 other surgeons. All agreed that nose is over projected, my nostrils were never touched (there were zero incisions in that area proving that) the dent is due to my nostril collapsing and starting to recede, and I have a poly deformity. The lump in my tip is causing it to hang lower to one side, most likely cartilage that slipped early in healing. I asked if thick skin was an issue with my face and was told although I do not have thin skin, my skin was not abnormally thick. I also need a revision on neck. It's uncomfortable to raise my head beyond forward view and when I do bands are visually present and feel like rubber bands pulling head back down. All doctors were confused by what was done to neck because my incision was only under chin which is a sign of liposuction, more incisions behind ears are present after a neck lift. I passed my one year mark, I haven't been to follow up with Dr. Siegel since 6 months. I do not see a point since he isn't owning up to anything that has happened post surgery. I want to feel like myself again and not cringe every time I look in a mirror. Revision is more expensive and more difficult. I'm told I will likely need rib grafts, longer time in splint, and should expect 2 years of swelling and healing. Please do research before letting Dr. Siegel work on your face. Don't be fooled by fake positive reviews you see online, read everything available to you and make an informed decision. I regret ever walking into his office. I had a rhinoplasty on 01/09/20, so I am only 8 months into my recovery and I am absolutely amazed with my results. I had a very large, bulbous nose and now my nose is small and cute as a button. I received ZERO bruising throughout my entire healing process. Excellent, excellent surgeon. After a bad rhinoplasty, I got a REALLY bad revision. 8( I desperately needed another revision! I was considering two other surgeons in the area, but after talking on the phone with all three offices, I decided to make the appointment with Dr. Siegel. Dr. Siegel is very kind, caring, professional, and honest. He listened to my concerns and answered all my questions as well as my husband's. Needless to say, I was really scared to have another revision done for fear it would come out worse. He put me and my husband right at ease. I truly believe he is a highly skilled surgeon. He corrected the revision done by another surgeon who left me with a dent in the front of my nose which made it look crooked among other things. Today (07-19-2019) he took off my nose cast and I am very impressed with the results. My nose is still swollen, but looks amazing! I am beyond happy with my nose now. I never really liked the shape of my nose or side profile. Over the years I've thought about having rhinoplasty performed but always talked myself out of it; I figured it was the nose that I was born with so I'd just own it. Over the last year however, I began to notice significant facial asymmetry and volume loss, which prompted me to research ways to improve my overall appearance, thus leading me to Dr. Siegel. After researching, reading reviews and scouring photo galleries of just about every facial plastic surgeon in the Houston area, I decided to schedule a consultation with Dr. Siegel, as well as two additional surgeons. I'm glad that Dr. Siegel was my second consult because I got the chance to compare the approach and thought process of the two providers. Dr. Siegel silently listened as I expressed my concerns and described my goals and expected outcome. He gave his professional opinion of what he thought would best accomplish my goals and enhance my features without trying to sell me on additional procedures, as the previous surgical consultant had. I was so impressed with Dr. Siegel and his wonderful nurse Sheila that I decided to skip my third consultation, and scheduled my surgery for the following month. I can not recommend Dr. Siegel enough. Every encounter from my initial consultation to my post-op appointment was professional and exceeded all of my expectations. Dr. Siegel is a Liar as well as a TERRIBLE DOCTOR. Lacking the skills necessary to fulfill his empty promises. After visiting with 3 of the top nose Drs in Houston, I bumped into Dr sieges page, not because he is one of the top Drs in Hohston, but because his advertising team is second to none. He has to rely on this, as nobody in their right mind would EVER recommend him, after he has irreparably damaged their faces due to his incompetence . To counter the plethora of terrible reviews!! See for yourself, not only do these fake reviews stream in by the dozen after a REAL NEGATIVE REVIEW, but they are written with the same exact lines at times! And using similar punctuation& writing style! Always with a different and invisible "tag" as a name. But if that wasn't proof enough, watch for some simple facts that PROVE the dr is NOT RESPONSIBLE for these falsified results.. His office is Always empty! All 6 times I was there, there was NEVER another customer! There is NO WAIT to see the dr for a consultation!! (Real successful Drs, have a wait, because people actually WANT them to preform their surgery!! Their services are in demand!! They also usually charge for consultations! As they CAN because they are good at what they do!! Dr Siegel sweet talked me, and convinced me that he could repair the minor hump on my nose, caused by trauma ... Instead he implanted grafts, expanding my nostrils, asymmetrically at that..I mean VERY CROOKED! And he failed to fix the hump! Leaving a jagged scar with a piece of loose skin hanging down!! Upon returning for my 6 mo check up, mortified by the appearance of my nose, the dr yelled at me, that "he was not capable of doing any better, and would NOT fix my nose! I have this on video, as though I would NEVER let this man touch my face again, I wanted proof as to the type of man dr Siegel is, and I got just that ! As he admitted in not so many words, that he was NOT CAPABLE of better, despite lying to meat consultation that he COULD and WOULD return my nose to its original shape, at least as close as possible... After the surgery, my nose not only is crooked /asymmetrical and larger, but it is the complete OPPOSITE of what it looked like before; like the photo I gave to him right before surgery.!! I don't even look like myself anymore as a result!! I rarely leave the house and NEVER take pictures!! I saving up for a revision..after talking to actually competent Drs, whom are the ones whom informed me to the extent of damage done by dr Siegel!! After not being able to look at myself in the mirror due to the tragic appearance of my nose,.. Please DONT fall for Dr Siegels lies!! He is not capable of fixing whatever it is that you need fixed!! Do not go to this man for a face lift or neck lift. I paid $11,000 for a face lift and neck lift. He only did an executive lift without addressing my neck at all. He only did lipo under my chin. He left the loose skin hanging around the hole under my chin where he did lipo and my neck now looks worse than it did before the surgery. Google this doctor and check out all his reviews. There are several other very unsatisfied customers. I now have to pay more money to get my neck fixed. Drs. Kridel and Vitenas are much better choices in Houston. This doctor is dishonest. I agree with Crystal below. He did an awful job on my rhinoplasty that wasn't even that bad before. I was looking to have my nose fixed due to a previous injury. After the procedure and time had passed my nose was bigger than it was prior. The collumela hung very low and the tip was larger and more rounded than before. I literally went into a depression after spending close to $10,000 which was a "deal" given to me because of knowing him. After more time had passed he continued to tell me it was swelling and to give it more time. After a year had passed, I had asked him for a revision and he made an issue about it and stated I was basically asking for too much. Let me tell you, his photo-shopping skills during the pre-op visit are great but his skills in the OR are terrible. He shakes tremendously as if he has tremors which I did not notice until after. I decided that I wouldn't let him EVER touch my face again after ruining it the first time. I received the operative report from the hospital and gave it to another surgeon for a reference when he did my revision (which came out amazing). During my post op visit the new surgeon had told me that his dictation did not match what he saw in my nose. Meaning, he claimed to have done procedures on my nose that were not actually done. I assume he did this for insurance purposes since I also had a septum repair due to a deviation. Just like Crystal, I have NEVER seen other patients at his office during the multiple visits there. I have been going to Dr. Siegel for few years now but every time i went, i asked myself why do i keep coming to his practice.?! He did S lift on my face and i didn't see much improvement, did botox few times but every time he seemed to just inject all of it in one area, which didn't really work for my face. I also bought a laser removal package but as hair continued to come back he told me, i will have to come back for maintenance, which i did. Last time i went, they told me the maintenance fee for hair removal went up from $50 to $190 and I thought that was just ridiculous, especially as they just shared that info with me at the time of my appointment. I asked to talk to him about it and his receptionist was rude and just said that's the price and they can't negotiate. Also, his staff is always new and over the years patient service suffered significantly; it seems nobody last there a long time!! I should have switched a long time ago! read more
